Dark Eyed Dreamboat

Your eyes are dark, but your smile is bright-

I see your face in my dreams at night.

Your presence is awkward, my nerves are wracking.

I have feelings for you that you're not quite grasping.

On this Valentine's day I have one simple wish...

To give you a short, sweet kiss on the lips

Some gohsts of the day,

Some demons of night.

My soul soars up high,

My spirit takes flight.

My dreams are my treasure,

A treasure most dear.

While some bring me happiness,

Others bring fear.

But I'd never desert them,

not for any one thing.

Its fleece as white as snow,
And everywhere that Mary went,
The Lamb was sure to go.

But Mary found the price of meat had soared,

The dead walk every day,only to see the light is bright.
They wait until the night comes,to walk in shadows deep with fright.
They kill the innocent, they help the evil.
To make the horror become real.
One man comes out, sword shining bright in his hand.
He starts to sweep the dead from the land.
And light comes to the world once more.
And spirits fly, and spirits soar.
The evil know, and him they fear.
The dark ones cry, but black are their tears.

I made that myself. mrgreen Kinda just a spur of the moment thing..... It's actually my first try at freeform poetry... And I'm really into the whole kinda thing that poem was about. Hope ya like it!!!

Orange
Once there was a orange
who was squashed by a door hinge
A person was sad
his dad was mad
his cat was happy
the mouse was sappy
HIs sister was pippy
while his mom was a hippie
His cousin was sassy
while his dad was a Cassy
While the oranges grew
the people were blue
When the orange was delivered to the house
there was a dancing mouse
While during the war,when the people fought
the oranges just watched
Until the got squashed

THE SEED OF MORALITY

All humans were decreed
Within their hearts a moral seed
If this seed was nurtured well
Happiness was sure to swell
But if the child turned from good
on who to put the blame we should?

heres another. I actually have a million I could post. My fave is Run Away my Run-a-way. In fact I think I will put it.

Run Away My Run-a-way.

Run away my run-a-way,
run far and fast and free.
Run away so far so long
you become detached from me.
For if we both were to run away
tell me where’d I be:
chasing hollow emptiness
and ever unhappy.

I’d need a crude awakening,
where denial must be fouled.
No hesitation.
Explanation:
the volcano set to boil,
guilt and sadness would erupt.
the land is burnt in places
left to drying up;
shattered with many pieces,
I’m littered with myself.

Run away my run-a-way,
run far and fast and free.
Run away so far so long
you become detached from me.
For if we both were to run away
tell me where’d I be;
I’d be left all alone
and ever unhappy.

I wonder about love,is it real?
I hear sobbing, a tree dies and cries
I see Death, like an executioner
I want Eternity, Evermore

I feel that it is pointless

I understand that sometimes, you must let go

Took another clonapin
Try to let it set on it
These meds sure ain't what they used to be
Remember way back in the day
I'd take a half and be okay
Just the half was all I'd ever need

Anxiety and tension risin'
Sacrifices, compromisin'
Still getting used to us being apart
I think about it and I find
What has happened to my mind
And now I ask what's happened to my heart

Used to be full of foolishness
Naivete and innocence
Couldn't tell the "bad" and "good" apart
Now I find I cannot fight
Against the harsh bright blinding light
My heart retreats to warm and comforting dark

I strove to meet your expectations
It only led to aggravations
Can't you see I've got alot on my plate?
I only asked you for your touch
And though I loved you oh so much
Gaining your love sure wasn't worth the wait

And after all this you fail to see
You still do not belong to ME
Your love belongs to HIM and HER and THEM
I guess you ended just the same
Toying with me like a game
I can't take all this heartbreak yet again

Since you don't have the balls to say
"It's over" and just walk away
I'm saving you the trouble anyhow
I'm sick of all your player s**t
I've had about enough of it
This mockery of a relationship ends now!

They didn't watch her walking down
scream round
but they don't care
what she saw
what occured
in the dark
they warned her
she'd be late
make mistakes

Come in his car
grab her
pull her down
tye her up
and though she fought she didnt win
but
her friends cared
they called her phone
they thought she was a lone and
they found her scared
they promised then
they'd never ever leave her alone
not even if it snowed.
