Jail House Riot
I'm in my room
Sitting on my bed,
With thoughts of gloom
Running through my head.

I sit and cry
The days away.
Wishing to die
Any old way.

I must get out
Of this room!
I scream and shout
To bring some doom!

I must see it,
Must see the light;
Let me out of this pit
Let me out to fight!!

I'll bring you fear
You will feel fright,
I'll make you hear
Screams of this night.

Now let me go
Get me out of this place.
You will be shown
The fears I face.

I'll throw you into
The lions pit,
You can try to do
What you want in it.

When they spit you out
And you're done in there,
I have no doubt
Of your scare.

When I'm done
And you're full of fear,
You'll be the one
To let me out of here.

Now go get the key
Hurry get me out!
It might be guarded
Send someone to scout.

We're almost done
I can see the end!
Yes we've won
I can feel the wind!

I'm finally out of that horrible place
With no more worries or strife,
I can finally feel the snow on my face
So lets go and live our lives.

People
People laugh
People cry
People live
People die

People run
Through thier life
With so much worries
So much strife

So many people
Scream for help
When they cry
When they yelp

When they yell
When they scream
They gather together
Into a team

People are basic
And yet complex
Don't try to read them
You'll be in a vex

Real World
Lives come
Lives go
Hearts melt
Like the white snow

Loves won
Loves lost
Underlings kicked
By a mean boss

Fake love
Real hate
Oddballs standing
At the gate

Now i'm done
Can't you see
This real world,
It's hard on me

The list from the one I like the most to the one I like the least whee
For some reason, when I read your poetry I think of Edgar Allen Poe, probably because his poetry was dark too lol
The last two verses of "People" seem a little awkward to me, I think it might be the syllables.

The last two verses of "People" seem a little awkward to me, I think it might be the syllables.

Well the last two verses are supposed to show how people revert to their primal instinct to protect the weak ones.
