how do you put a poll on your posts?

I need to know how to put a poll on your posts, it never shows up when I put something in the boxes.

When you're making a new topic, you just look at the bottom and type something into the Make a poll box. It goes like this.

Question for the poll - (put what you want)
Answer option #1 - (put what you want) [add option]

If you click the add option you'll get another box under that so it would be

Question for the poll - (already filled)
Answer option #1 - (already filled)
Answer option #2 - (put what you want) [add option]
