Eleanor shook her head as she entered the kitchen. She warmed up the pot of tea with a flick of a wand and poured the liquid in two cups.
"Nope. St Mungo's to visit my dad." she grinned as she walked back to Daemon and handed him one of the cup with a soft smile on her face.

Daemon's heart siezed. "I wish I'd known. I could have joined you. I.." he hissed in anger at himself. "I'd have got to have seen my mother before she died."

Eleanor's frown softened as she heard the sorrow in the young student's voice. The boy had no mother. Not anymore. Feeling emotions taking over, she grabbed Daemon into a tight embrace. She knew that it seemed bizarre, especially for a teacher to hug a student, but she couldn't just sit there and apologize. She stroked his hair, trying to calm him down.
"Everything'll be fine, you'll see." she said.

Daemon was pretty shocked at the hug. he glanced up at her curiously. She was being motherly towards him. He felt an emotion a second. one like happiness. He smiled weakly at her. it didn't suit his face anymore. "Thank you. I just regreat that I did as she said and never said goodbye."

"...Mother..."

"It's not your fault. You respected her by completing her last wish." she smiled faintly at him. Losing a family member was always dreadful, and hurting.

Daemon nodded slowly. "The pain fades," he said softly, "you never forget them. They're always alive inside you."

"Daemon, you've got to promise me you'll do nothing stupid, alright?", she frowned at him in concern. The last thing she wanted would be this boy dying, "And what will you do now? Do you have somewhere to go, at least?" she questioned curiously, brushing the hair of the fringe he had away from his eyes.

"I'll do nothing stupid," Daemon lied, feeling guilt. "And I'm meant to be living with a Mr. Yuki in the Hogs Head in Hogsmeade."

"Fine. You promised", she nodded, still slightly suspicious and not convinced, "Good." she smiled softly. Even though placing the kid with someone that owns an inn where people would come and get drunk wasn't such a good idea, Yuki Isolde was still a trustful man. At least, she thought so, since she still despised him and Icarus for their behavior during school years.

Eleanor sniggered and nodded, crossing her arms.
"Yuh-huh. Their parents were both quite strict as I recall, with the holier-than-thou feeling, but their sons were some kind of Weasley twins copy. Caused a lot of trouble to Filch." she nodded, as she tied her hair in a messy bun. She actually caused trouble to Gryffindor, too, like the time when she and her friend decided to have a sleepover at the Shrieking Shack, and people were saying that it was haunted or something, but they got caught by the old McGonagall when they passed the court of the Clock Tower.

Daemon nodded at the reply. "Pranksters. The school seems to be full of them," he didn't put a tone with the words. "I hope they matured a little.."

Eleanor shrugged lightly, looking outside the window.
"Well, the school would be rather dull without pranksters.", she admitted as she gave Daemon a soft, friendly smile, "I hope so, too!" she laughed.
