"You'll see. By your fifth year, you'll see the difference between the pranksters and studious." she assured him, referring to the O.W.L.s he'll have to pass in his fifth year, along with his fellow classmates.

Eleanor shrugged, thinking about what to answer. Surprisingly, she did well in her O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s, but was also surprised when she was asked to take this job, which she, funnily enough, enjoyed.
"Depends. You just gotta revise hard, and pick the subjects you enjoy and good at." she said.

Eleanor thought for an instant. She didn't quite recalling what she passed and didn't. She definitely failed Potions, Transfiguration, Study of Ancient Runes and History of Magic as she remembered her father's yelling.
"I picked Study of Ancient Runes and Divination." she said finally.

Daemon nodded at the information. "I didn't have you down as a runes person, if that's not rude to say." He shivered, terrified he'd offend her.

Daemon smiled at the words, shifting slightly in his chair, sipping his drink (you made him a drink, right?) "I have no idea what to pick. Obviously I want Care of Magical Creatures but.. I don't know what to pick for my future job.."

"It depends on what you want to do.", she explained with a warm, kind smile, "Besides, you've still got a whole year to think it through." she remarked with a light shrug. The boy was only in first year, and Electives should be chosen at the end of second year, so no worries.

"Well, good. You're too young to know too much. Knowing little is good. Too much is often overwhelming." she said with a light, joyful tone and a chuckle.

"I'm sure you'll have a nice future.", she nodded, smiling truthfully at the young student, "You'll graduate, get a job, marry and so on..." She rolled her eyes. She only passed two points of these goals she mentioned. But she didn't need a man in her life, she was fine enough by herself.
