Look, you've already got more than I do. I honestly don't expect to get past, like, 2k words.

I've been indecisive about whether I'll actually participate or not. I know I REALLY want to; I have a pretty solid outline for the most part and about 3k words already laid out in my head to write down on just the first few days, but my co-dependency makes me think I'm wasting my time as I've never been good at timing my writing, and I haven't really been getting much support from my family.
But I'll try all the same; it won't hurt me to do at least that.

If you keep telling yourself that it's impossible to write 50k words, then it will be.
Even if it's unlikely that you'll make it, you should try anyway.
Just remember: your aim is to write a novel. Your aim is not to write a GOOD novel. It's meant to be a rough, unwieldy mass that will probably have good points but certainly not be 100% amazing.
So don't worry! Just write. If you're babbling, fine. If you're repeating yourself, fine. If you're putting in gratuitous sex scenes -- fine! You can always take them out later.

Just write. Forget the world, and focus on the goal. 3nodding
