I'm totally prepared for everything NaNo has to throw my way this year . . . I have my notes, outlines, snacks, music, etc. all planned out and ready to go. But even though I've been hyped for the past two months, I'm suddenly feeling a strange lack of motivation.
Worst timing ever. =_=
NaNo starts in just hours, and . . . well, I'm probably not going to get back on during November to check for replies, but I needed to vent.

It's alright. It's probably just that calm before the storm, the last panic attack you have before you board an airplane for the first time. I'm sure after 2 or 3 days you'll be feeling up to it!

What exactly are you unmotivated for? Is it specifically the beginning of your novel you aren't excited about? Because if so, there's nothing saying you have to write in order -- you might want to try skipping ahead to a scene you ARE interested in, and filling in the rest later. That's worked for me in the past.
