[NOVEL] Lands Divided (11-15-11)

So, I have started on the complete overhaul of my first finished story, Lands Divided. The first draft is so full of plot holes and characters not used to their full potential that I need to re-do almost everything from chapter two to the end. But considering that was my first try at a complete story, I think it was pretty good.

Anyways, I'll be posting my progress here, so if anyone wants to comment on what I have done so far and what I am planning on doing, feel free to do so. I really enjoy new perspectives on what I do.

it isn't 50k yet, but I am not done fleshing it out yet, so hopefully that will make it alot longer.

I am definitely going to read this when I have more time. The title and brief summary draws me in. I am intrigued.

Edit: I almost forgot. I just updated the first chapter ((it is so long now 0.0..... sortof.))

I havn't updated here in a while, so I'll just explain what I have been doing.

The biggest thing is that I decided to re-write the whole thing in third person. I think that I am better able to write that way. Also, I am adding in some more viewpoints in to the mix for some subplots. (Robert, Lucy, and John)

So, I have finished chapter 1, and added a whole new chapter in Robert's view.

I have been spending the time in between studying what goes into a good story, so I think I have a better idea of what to do now. ^^
So... yeah. I am still looking for critiques as well.

Update: I just finished chapter three.
