WELCOME!!!!
Hi and welcome to you all... I see you have found your way into this beautiful Inn. Well let me tell you a little of it's history.
The Red Stone was originally created by a gaian name N.A.T.A., who ran it using the Character of Darkshine. Unfortunately, do to recent events, N.A.T.A. is unable to take care of the tavern as he once was. This is where I come in. I have recently obtained permission from N.A.T.A. to run the Tavern as I see fit. But I honestly don’t want to change it. I just want to be able to host it as he did. So that’s why the following couple of posts are quotes, in his honor.Due to the nature of this Rp, it's a perfect style for this Guild. No character profiles are needed in the thread as you already know your characters. Just post.

N.A.T.A ~Welcome to The Red Stone Tavern~ Towering before you is the two-storied Red Stone Tavern. You open the door and enter in, and then begin to descend down stone steps into the main area. There are large windows to allow natural light in and also to invite those passing by in. That was how you ended up here! Adorning the walls are various mounted weapons, collected and donated over the years by visitors to the Red Stone Tavern. There are also paintings and drawings of sorts. Some depicting people or scenes that you're not too familiar with. To the left is a grand stone fireplace that could burn four large camp fires side by side. There is a raised stone panel that is knee high for those that wish to sit next to the fire to keep warm. The fire behind emits a warm heat regardless how high the fires burn. Oddly you see no place for fire wood, and that is because this particular fire place was constructed using ancient magi technology and requires no wood. The fire forever burns maintaining a comfortable warmth for the area all year round. Upon the fire places mantel is another collection of odd sorts, weighing scales and stones and instruments of knowledge more commonly used by Alchemists or scholars, and the strange glittering stones still stuck in the grey rock they were taken from are largely unfamiliar to you. Surrounding the fireplace area is several large plush couches and there are a few small tables placed next to them for more convenience. Looking around, you see people sitting at a bar to the left which is big enough to need two of the staff to run it. And littered all over are tables and booths with ample amount of moving space between all. To the far right at the back of the tavern is a large wooden stair case that you suspect leads to the second landing of the building. A young man approaches you then, he is a slim, frail figure, youthful features complete with slick black hair and large angular eyes. His ears are softly pointed, one has a gold ear cuff that glints when it catches the soft light. "Greetings friend I am Darkshine the owner of 'The Red'. You look a little lost, so please allow me to show you around." He motions for you to follow him with a small curt bow as he walks over to the right. You follow behind and see a large staircase that ascends up to the second floor. "The entire second floor is an inn." Darkshine explains. " Room and board is free, my precious Red is funded by a private party, so there's no need to worry about money if you're a little short. I've never been upstairs myself, but I've heard the rooms are never the same for each occupant." He doesn't extend upon why this is so but continues on as if it is all normal. If you continue to the back of this tavern you'll come to another door which leads out back to the Red. That's where we keep the stables as most of our patrons are travelers. If you have a horse or a pack animal bring them around back and our hired help will tend to them." He walks back to where there bar is at. You see a polished wood counter that extends from the front of the building, all the way to the back of the building. You notice the stools are spaced out enough for people to sit comfortably and have a nice conversation, while still enough apart for someone to stand between them to get a drink. "Well, here's the bar as you have no doubt already seen. There's a kitchen in the back, so yes, we do serve more than just drinks." With that, he steps behind the bar and nods at you, handing a drink to a customer. "Just let the bar attendants know what you want and they'll have it prepared for you. Let them know if there is anything more you require and they'll do their best to be of service to you. Just ask." As Darkshine says this a petite red head walks by dipping her head respectfully acknowledging both you and Darkshine. She is dolled up in what appears to be a black and white maid uniform. In her hand she is carrying a tray of empty bowls to the back to be washed. Darkshine coughs to regain your attention and he adds in to is earlier statement. "Anything with in reason that is." And this is said with a little coy smile. "It's not a fairly exciting place, but it gives travelers a place to rest. To that extent I don't tolerate those that disrupt the peace with their petty brawls. If you must fight take it outside. Same goes for destructive magic spells of any kind. Other than that, I hope you will enjoy your stay here."

Theorif Brightslate
With a final sweeping look of the recently renovated inn, Theorif could find nothing left that needed to be fixed or cleaned. Catching a look of himself in the large mirror above the fire, Theorif gave himself a once over to make sure that he was as presentable as the rest of the building. His slate grey hair for which he was named was kept neat and slicked back so that it wouldn't fall into his almond eyes. Just as noticable were the elongated ears, though they didn't end in a point. Instead the came to a rounded finish. Like all others of his race, a fine gold loop through his left ear. A simple top and black breaches sat tidily on his small frame, though that didn't make him any less powerful. Strung round his neck on a loop of leather was a key made of an odd material.
One would first mistake it to be iron. But the texture and the feel was as smooth as polished marble. When held to the light, the actual color of the key was revealed, like glass, light barely passed through it's dark blue mass. It wasn't iron, it wasn't marble and it most certainly was not glass. It had puzzled him many a time as to what it was made of, but even so, it was the sole reason that the inn allowed him to make changes to the building. The proof of ownership and no one could forcefully take that away from him. Nodding to himself with satisfaction, Theorif turned to the doors.
After more than three years, the Redstone was opened for business once more. With a wave of the hand, the large double doors unlocked and swung open to show the outskirts of a large trading town. Just the perfect place that many travelers would walk past. With a small murmour to the key around his neck, the grey haired man stepped round the back of the bar and waited.
((Massive post is massive due to it being from an actual Rp))

Elias Cardinal Celestia, the world-famous information brokerand her assistant, Elias, arrived at the Redstone Tavern quietly, but that silence was about to break. Celestia's identifying facial features were covered by a turban-like hat with a veil covering her face. He outfit was a mixture of cultures, and her golden hoop earrings and black lipstick gave her the look of a seductress. Both she and Elias were elves, made obvious by their ears. However, Elias was built a bit differently than most male elves. Although he did nothing to help promote that elves were not effeminate with his heeled boots, he was just slightly more muscular than the average elf. It was also a strange sight to see elves with dark hair--Elias's brown, and Celestia's black. The elves did not take kindly to the whole long, blonde-haired archer stereotype they were labeled with. Elves were like humans, in the aspect they had varying skintones and hair colors depending on where they lived. They were foreign elves.
"Ellie, you've heard of the Redstone Tavern, haven't you?" Celestia asked, linking her arm around Elias's.
"No, I haven't,"he groaned,"and will you stop calling me that. Let go!"
"Aw, but Ellie," Celestia cooed, pinching his cheek, making him turn as red as his attire. "It was a tavern I meant to go visit at once in my life. It closed down three years ago; when I heard it was opening again, I had to go check it out."
"But what does this have to do with my assignment?"
"It'll be our base of operations. Taverns always bring people, and people have information. With that information, you have a job."
"But what're a bunch of drunks going to have information on?"
"You'd be surprised Ellie."
"Don't--" Celestia lifted a hand as they entered the tavern.
"Ah, so you must be Theorif," Celestia said. "I know all about you." It was impossible to see, but she winked. "Re-opening this place is certainly a good way to get on my good side. Mind if my assistant and I set up shop here? It will be in the room we reserve, of course."She took Elias by the arm and pressed herself against him. He gave in with a sigh, and accepted it. ((Elias is the main character for me. Celestia will be in the background. If people wanna meet her, I'll RP as her for that. XP))

Theorif Brightslate
Having been absent-mindedly wiping a clean glass with a clean cloth for the past ten minutes just to have something to do, Theorif never even noticed the pair of travelers until the smaller, female one spoke confidently to him.
"Yes. My name is Theorif, but I doubt that the second statement is true. You probably don't know everything about me. You might of heard of me, but you won't know all about me. That would be creepy." Letting the glass and cloth float to their respective places, Theorif placed his hands on the bar in front of himself and looked at the pair, seeing through any pretences and spells that they might have been wearing.
Finding nothing out of the ordinary concealed, he let out a bright peal of laughter. "Whether or not the re-opening of this inn would, will or has got me on to your good side, the inn would, will and has re-opened. As for the pair of you 'setting up shop' as you put it, that would depend on what shop, for how long and how much room it would take up. Depending on how those three questions are answered, will make my mind clear as to the yes or the no. Would you like a drink while you speak it over with each over?" There was no doubt that they wouldn't try to mug, rob or kill him, all of which were impossible in the RedStone, but would they lie to him. That was what he wanted to know.
((I'm happy to reply to whichever you want to work with.))

((Mind giving me some info about Theorif that would have been difficult to obtain? Celestia did research on him, before arriving, so I think it'd make sense. XP Also, how old is Theorif? Celestia is in her late 80s right now. XP)) Elias Cardinal "How long depends on the job," explained Celestia. "What our job is dealing with information. Believe me, I know a lot about you. Just ask me, sometime."Then she got to the last part of the questions. "And being an information broker is the cheapest job ever, when it comes to shops. You just can ask me anytime. There really is no space needed, besides my room." She then smiled sweetly and put a hand on his cheek. "I read so much about you Theo, but I never expected you to be such a handsome man." Of course, Celestia would take an interest in him. Although she had information that he was a Djinn, he was close enough to an elf to impress her.
"Ahem!" Elias coughed, feeling awkward. "I'm sorry for that. It's been such a long time since we've seen another elf." Elias sat down. "I'll have an ale--"
"Oh, Ellie, you don't like alcohol," Celestia waved her hand dismissively. "Give me some wine and some milk for the boy." If there was one thing Theorif would recognize about these two, i would be that Elias was the youngest of the three. Long lived species would be able to notice the difference in age =of their peers.
"Fine..." he grumbled.

Theorif Brightslate With a small "Hmm", Theorif moved to get the drinks while he mulled over what he had been told. It seemed that he had missed some books about himself in his previous travels. A mug of warm milk for Elias and a glass of rosé for Celestia was slid forward. "The time that you spend here is of no matter as long as you can pay for the space, and the price is no matter as long as the time spent here is successful and enjoyable." Pulling open a hidden compartment in the large mahogany panel behind himself, Theorif lifted two keys down from their hooks, and slid them next to each drink. Next to Eilas' mug was an elegant silver and gold key. That was for their room to sleep and change. The other key, next to Celestia's wine was of much finer quality, with swirls of white gold looping round a single ruby. They could use the larger room for their work. Both keys were works of art, and worth more than the inn itself. There was a fine silver chain strung through them so that they could be worn round their necks. "I think two rooms will be better than one. You wouldn't want your clients to show up with one of you sleeping while the other is speaking. The larger one for your work is through that door just left of the bar. The other is upstairs, third on the left. I'll let you use the other room for nothing and for as long as you need them. Enjoy your stay at the RedStone."((Just say that you know his true name. That will be enough if he asks))

Kerrin Heatherby Kerrin came in quietly, not wanting to disrupt the company the Tavern undoubtedly already had. Out of something like respect, she swept the hood of her cloak back, revealing long, dark hair and eyes of a similar colour. A boy followed half a step behind her, his hood already down. Nathan let his grey eyes wander the room curiously, but didn't make a sound, either. He swept a hand in some attempt to smooth out his brown hair as he surveyed the Redstone. The surprise came when his gaze settled on the small gathering of three. The pair were not unfamiliar with weapon collections or the like, having come across many - among other things - in their recent travels. But they still had quite a while to go; their destination was beyond the next town, and, Kerrin was so convinced by her friend, a small rest couldn't hurt them any.
They realized it at the same time - elves, dispite the unusual hair colourings of two of them, they were elves.
"Kerri..." he couldn't help murmur under his breath. The girl in question glanced at him breifly, before brushing him off.
"I know, Nathan." She rolled her eyes. Kerrin never did understand her friend's alarm towards anything that wasn't human She proceeded towards them, and he had no real choice but to follow her.
((I hope it isn't too late to join in? ^^;; And, Kerrin's my main. Nathan is just sort of there, because she needs the company...))

((It's fine. ^_^ And Celestia will be in her room the rest of the RP.)) Elias Cardinal "That's what I just said," Elias replied to the comment about having separate rooms, picking the key up and twirling it around with his finger. Elias and Celestia may have looked like a youung couple, but they were different. They refused to share--more Elias than Celestia-- a room together. When asked why, nobody got a stright response. Elias would say that it would be weird, and Celestia would say it was for security. Either way, they both were keeping something from the world, and hiding it very, very well with the facade of a couple.
"Thank you..." Celestia said, picking up her key. She leaned in, bringing her lips to Theoriff's ear and whispered a name only he would recognize: his true name. If there was any doubt about Celestia's prowess as an information broker, that there was undeniable proof for Theorif. "Now, Ellie, remember to visit me, before you turn in for the night."
"What're you, my mother?" Elias scoffed.
"You're employer," she answered thwacking him on the head with the palm of her hand. "Don't be a smartass." Elias's hat had fallen off from the hit.
"Alright, alright," he said as he picked it up. "I'm sorry."
"Apology accepted, Ellie," she replied with a smile, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. Elias looked like he was holding back something he wanted to say, which only came out as a short groan ending with,
"Not in front of everyone..." And with that Celestia the Information Broker headed to her room with her wine and key in hand. Elias turned around and found himself in the way of a girl. "Oh, I'm sorry. Am I in your way?"

Kerrin Heatherby Kerrin's first reaction was to blink, the question catching her off guard. She, along with Nathan, had been watching the exchange from a few feet away, and she hadn't expected the attention to turn towards them so soon. But she forced herself to recover, and replied softly, with her eyes averted to the ground and her voice slightly flat, "No."
Quickly, she sidestepped the elf in front of her, and forcibly dragged Nathan along with her. He stumbled the first few steps in his surprise, but he managed to keep from falling over. Kerrin shot him a glare, and as harsh as it was, he was used to her, and it was easily ignored.
"What's wrong with you? They're just elves," she hissed irately, keeping her voice low. She knew he was the type to always wear his heart on his sleeve, but he usually could at least keep from openly gaping.
The boy paused for a moment, before he replied, "S-sorry..."
And now he was stuttering; that was two very uncharacteristic things in as many minutes. The girl let out a soft sigh - she hated to think what the elves would make of them now.

Elias Cardinal Elias tilted his head, when he heard "They're just elves." He was uused to the intimidation from humans, at this point. He picked up his glass of milk and sighed, taking a drink of it.
"And here I was thinking that your boyfriend would have more backbone than to be scared of an elf," he said. He was a mischevious man at times, and he loved to take advantage of how scared some people were of elves. He finished his glass and set it down on the table, wiping the moisture off his upper lip with his wrist. "Don't look so surprised. These ears are hardly decoration." He put a finger against the tip of one of them and let it brush by. ((The second bit is assuming the shock he heard them--she was keeping her voice down, so...))

Theorif Brightslate
Despite his rules of no fighting inside the inn, he was somewhat in shock at what Celestia had whispered to him. There was still a trace of his true name out there. That was something really bad that needed to be changed.Without waiting for the two new costomers to place their orders, he placed two glasses of ale on the bar and moved through the door into a different back room from last time, not that anyone but him had seen either of them. The new room was square, with intricate designs carved into the oak walls and black marble floor. In the center of the room was the only thing in it, a raised dias with a single floating orb of pale yellow energy above it. Reverting back to his native tounge, Theorif began weaving a spell. "Oh, dewa besar dan kuat. Kembali ini penginapan untuk kemuliaan penuh itu, melewati kekosongan ke mana pun itu diperlukan. Oh, suur ja võimas jumalad. Tagasi käesoleva inn, et see on täis hiilgust, mis läbib tühine, kui see on vajalik” Upon finishing a wave of pure enregy washed out of the orb, the carvings glowing a bright green, before returning back to normal. Everyone outside the room would all feel something, but they wouldn't see anything, just the feeling that something was different. Just how long it would take them to notice that outside was no longer the trading town that they started in, but instead next to a well traveled path before the mountains really began. At least five minutes was his guess.
((Now is where the fun begins.))
