Any werewolf is welcome to be documented freely here. However, any werewolf caught by the Werewolf Capture Unit will be forced to register themselves.

Sophie was fairly sure that the Office of Werewolf Registry had to be one of the more depressing offices in any ministry or magical government structure. It wasn't a condition most people were happy about. She understood why the registry was made, but it didn't make the whole process less of a headache or more enjoyable. She remembered registering back when she had first been bitten when she was sixteen-it wasn't something she remembered fondly-and she grew up with a werewolf for a father before that point, so she was fairly sure she had a little less of fatalistic mentality about the condition. Her family definitely was already more accepting, even if it was her own father who had end up infecting her and they knew the dangers all too well of the condition.
When her sister had taken a job teaching healing at Hogwarts, Christina Dechering had the hair-brained idea it would be good for her little sister to get out of "middle of nowhere" Georgia and come with her. And thus, Sophie was stuck here at the Ministry of Magic in London in the werewolf registration office. The only thing that made Sophie feel any better about having to be there was her sister had to register as a Metamorphagus. Picking up a registry form, she sat down at a desk and picked up a quill and began, ignoring the look those in the office gave her.

Standing, Sophie returned the quill to its location and handed the form to the secretary with a raised eyebrow. "I was told to fill this out when I came to the United Kingdom. Any additional information should already have been forwarded from the United States," She said politely, realizing how out of place her accent sounded and it did not help with how quiet the room was. She nodded her head politely and said, "Thank-you and as you can see I'm well aware of the necessary information and legal requirements of my condition. Have a good day ma'am. I'll be more than happy to follow up with any necessities as they arise."
She bit her lip and turned and with another nod of her head walked out of the office to catch up with her sister. She was far ruder than usual, but she wanted to cut off the secretary before she might start with some sort of talk about the condition. Sophie Dechering had spent six years already as a werewolf and knew from her own father's mistake in biting her the importance of proper Wolfsbane brewing and precautions to make. Actually, the fact she was a werewolf was one of the reasons her potions score on the W.I.T. was so high. She was still half tempted to skin her sister alive for managing to convince her that it was a good idea to come with her. The paperwork and formalities about drove her mad leading up to the move.
