Being Division

Werewolf Support Services is a part of the Being Division of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Despite werewolves being classed as Beasts, they are acknowledged to be Beings during their untransformed state, and the Werewolf Support Services offers aid to those afflicted with the condition.

There was a snap of an apparation as the Head of the Werewolf Support Services, Artemis Knight appeared in the main office. She looked around to see if the new guy, Joey Hawthorne, was there yet. "Hmm! Still not here." Artemis said quietly talking to herself. She, then, walked into her office, closed her door, and sat down at her desk. Artemis started to softly hum to herself as she started on the new piles of paperwork on her desk.

Joey apparated just outside of the main office. First day of work, he thought as he breathed in heavily. Not a second too late, he knocked on the door of the Head of the Werewolf Support Services.

Artemis looked up from her paperwork. "Come in." She said as she put down her quill.

At the sound of the woman's voice coming from the other side of the door, Joey turned the door knob and walked through the entrance to her office. "Hello, I am Joey Hawthorne," he introduced himself as he walked over to her and extended his arm for a hand shake.

Artemis smiled softly at the man as Joey walked into her office. "Morning! Nice to meet you. I'm Artemis Knight." She said, standing up from her chair and shaking his hand. "So you ready for your first day?" Artemis asked with a big smile.

Joey smiled. "Nice to meet you too, miss Knight," he said after Artemis Knight greeted him. "Of course, I'm ready," he said confidently, not sure what the first thing he has to do first is.

"Love the confidence, Mr. Hawthorne." Artemis said with a playful smirk as she let go of his hand and gathered some paperwork from her desk. "Now, here are the rules and regulations. Make sure you read them carefully and throughly." She said, handing a small packet to him. "Here is the consent form saying that you read the rules and will follow them." Artemis said, handing him another document. "Here are more consent forms saying that you promise to treat our clients and other employees with respect and not to discriminate, that you will do everything within your power to help our clients and their family, and that you have all the consents forms." She sighed heavily as she gave him the last of the paperwork.

Joey took the package from Artemis. "Alright, I'll read through it and sign the papers tonight, and I'll have them on your desk tomorrow morning," he promised.

"Alright. Good." Artemis said with a smile. "Now how about I show you to your desk?" She asked, while gesturing outside her office.

Joey smiled back at the woman. "That would be great, thank you," he said, opening the door and holding it open for Artemis.

"Don't mention it and thank you." Artemis said, walking out the door to one of the cubicles. The cubicle consists of a desk, a desk chair, a desk lamp, parchments, quills, ink, and a couple of desk drawers. The cubicle was too or too small, just medium-sized. "Since you are the first person here, you can have the choice to any cubicle." She said.

"No problem," Joey said as Artemis walked through the door. He followed her into the hallway where all the cubicles were. "Alright, I'll just take that one," he said, pointing to a cubicle at the end of the hall beside the window.

"Alright. Well I'll leave it to you then." Artemis said, heading back to her office . "Oh and welcome to the Werewolf Support Services! Enjoy your first day." She said as she turned around to look at Joey.
