Kaera made her way into the great hall. She was nervous for the event, but excitement overwhelmed her at the same time. She was unsure how exactly to dress for the occasion, and she hoped that she hadn't done too much. Before leaving for Hogwarts, Kaera's mother had gotten her a beautiful purple floorlength dress to hopefully put some light back into the girl's life. She was grateful to her mother now, as she nervously smoothed the dress against her. Her vibrantly purple hair was pulled half-up and pinned and done in delicate ringlets that fell down her back, resting lightly on her soft, deep purple robes.
Looking around, she noticed that not everyone had fancied up for the occasion and she blushed, wondering if perhaps she was overdressed. Spotting Charlotte, and a few of the other first years, she sighed with relief. They had dressed up as well. Putting a smile on her face, Kaera waited to be assigned the table she would spend the evening at.

Marguerite_Wheelwright Man, I feel fun in this dress, Charlotte thought as she timidly stepped into the Great Hall, gentle tapping her bun checking that the only bit of pink on her was still in it place. Sighing, she nervously brushed at her blue dress and then picked at invisible dust one her blue midnight blue robes. Once her hands were done with that, they nervously went to making sure her perma-rose was still in her curly bun. I just need to relax. Thats right...deep, even, breathes, she thought as she took one. Everything was just fine, she looked nice, everything was neat, she had done all her work the night before. Everything was just fine. She glanced around and noticed that Nott was standing there and that there were other...who were less formal. Meaning, I didn't need to get dressed up, she thought sourly. Then gave her head a little shake, letting the strands on either side of her face tickle her. No it is okay. Formal is nice...gah! I wish I could go the library instead of being here. Who needs this holiday outside of couples, adults, and gushy preppy overly cheery teenage girls. ___________________*___________________{{}{Springy 10 1/2 inch, Birch wood with a core of Jobberknoll feather}{}} A house elf walked up to Charlotte and handed her a card that said Table #6
