Only vaguely listening to his parents teasing-eww, who wanted to listen to that?!- Ball shifted to link his tail with his dozing brother's. He watched, remaining silent as Crystal's eyes slid shut. Once he was certain his brother was asleep, Ball lowered his head to rest atop his brother's in a protective manner.

One day he would grow up, and he would be strong. Strong enough to protect those he cared about, and would come to care about. His current family, and future members. His blue gaze drifted back up to his parents as his smiled into his brother's hair. As icky as he found their flirting to be, he wanted to one day have what they have. That companionship, and children to be proud of.

The young colts thoughts came to a halt when a mighty yawn broke free from him.

His smile growing, Dev floated closed to his family and settled down next to his mate. It amazed him how much love he could give, and how much he was given. Truly, this was a high point of his life and he never wanted to give it up, ever.

"They are so innocent and precious, aren't they?" he whispered as he gently nuzzled his sons. "Go ahead and sleep Ball. We'll be here for you in the morning...."

Yes, he would be there today, tomorrow and forever. No matter what happens, no matter the fate of their love and the family itself he would be there to guide and protect, because no matter what they would be family, and that will never change. Ever.

Watching Ball be protective over Crystal made her laugh softly, and she was happy he was so protective over that one. Cloris has seen some other seathi siblings bicker and fight like they hated each other. But not in this case, for now, they stayed by their sides always. It makes her utterly happy. "Yes, don't worry you'll be safe. I promise. " But now She layed her head on Deverex and closes her own eyes, ears twitching lightly. "And you better protect me daddy." She teased him one more time, but kept her eyes closed. decided it would be time for her to sleep with her little ones too.

Under the coaxing of his father, Ball's eye lids grew even heavier. Incoherent mumbles fells from the young colt's lips as he snuggled deeper into their mother's protective warmth. Tomorrow would bring a new day, a day filled with opportunities to play with his brother, and then trailing after his parents.

So many options were available to the young colt, and he would greedily take advantage of all of them. With those racing through his head, Ball allowed his eyes to slip shut and for sleep to claim his mind. Pulling him into his dream, where even there, his family lived.
