Garret walked through the streets of his home, his thoughts troubled and distant. Sarah had just passed, losing her life to something he couldn't help her with. He was a wizard, a potions master, and he couldn't do a thing to save her from cancer. She might have known about the wizarding world, but that didn't mean that she could get treatment for something so mundane there. What surprised Garret was how it metastasized so quickly. Biting his lip, he felt a burning in his eyes. He bit his lip, not about to cry. He had to be strong for his sons. Rick he knew would be fine for the most part, since he'd dealt with being without a mother for so long, but Jacob had never known what that was like. He was slightly grateful that his youngest had fallen into a sleep he hadn't woken from, if only to spare him knowing just yet. But what about afterward, after he awoke? He refused to believe his son wouldn't.
Meandering down the street, he tried to think of any way he could let his youngest know about his mother when he spotted a glint of red hair darting down an alley. Frowning, he quickened his pace, taking long strides to cover the distance. His wand was safely tucked up his sleeve just in case it became necessary, but he honestly had no clue about what was up. However, no one else in town had red hair, and he knew that there were dangerous people that had that exact shade. It wasn't something he wanted to deal with, but if he had to, he would. He would just make sure to ensure she wasn't going to escape again.

Circling your, circling your, circling your head, Contemplating everything you ever said Now I see the truth, I got doubt A different motive in your eyes and now I’m out See you later
Megan weaved in and out of sight, teasing, tantalizing her prey. She had seen him wandering, a look so distant and lost that she immediately recognized as grief. He'd just lost someone, close to him, very close. She remembered that look the first time he moved in with her and her family. He'd lost someone close to him then too, when his parents cast him out for being a wizard. Oh, how naive she was, thinking that she could help him. He hurt her, deeply, and she was here to repay the favor. She moved from one shadow to the next, eyeing her prey as he started stalking her. She was forever aware of him, as he was of her, and it was an intrinsic dance they performed, She letting him see her for the briefest of moments before flitting from sight again and he stalking her as a hound would his own prey.
A smirk played across her features as she slid down a series of alleys, each darker than the rest, before she came upon her destination. A graveyard, the site of which had become notorious in the wizarding world. Did her little mudblood know what she was to do here? She doubted it, and as she noticed him enter, she let her features brighten into a smile, half crazed, but definitely set for her next action. "Imperio." The words whispered had the desired effect, as the filthy spawn suddenly jerked up and stifened, before a lazy expression crossed his features. Oh, she preferred this, the sensation of control she had been denied for years. Coming forward fully now, she noted that he watched her with a detached expression. She walked forward, and when she caressed his cheek, he didn't flinch. "Hello, love. Miss me? I certainly missed you." Smirking, she ran a hand down his chest before leaning forward, securing his lips with a kiss. Oh, she knew that as soon as she broke this, he would hate her, but that was all according to plan.
