[Pure Acid Dreamer]

Despite their clinging tendencies, it was funny how they almost never just sat and cuddled like this. Anytime they did, it was only a matter of time before someone got bored or tired. Samuel didn't mind if he eventually had to move. He understood that Micha had been up all day and would likely want to sleep at some point. When that time came, despite not being all that tired he would likely join him. If for any reason, just to remain close to him. Samuel was happy that they were back on the same page. At least for now. There were more conversations to be had and even more misunderstandings from the past that needed clearing up. He didn't want another repeat of yesterday. Not that this wasn't a nice way to make-up, but they would get nowhere if they kept on making assumptions and thinking the worst every time they had an uncomfortable conversation.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Miscommunication and bad conversations were just the way of life at the moment. Micha knew if they expected to be perfect that wasn't going to happen. He couldn't help but feel uncomfortable yesterday. Micha knew though too that there were talks to be had still. Although he knew it wouldn't happen. As uncomfortable as he was talking about himself, Samuel still had yet to explain himself. He wasn't going to hold his breath though. That conversation wasn't going to ever happen.

Micha knew that sex wasn't a solution but they were working on it. He relaxed as Samuel leaned against him. Indeed he'd been up all day though he hardly wanted to sleep. Micha though needed to. He wasn't sure if Samuel was tired though he'd slept all day before he'd come over. Micha shifted in the bed as he moved to lie down. As content as he was with Samuel lying on him. He was happier lying beside him.

Yesterday had been hard on them both among other things. Samuel still had not come clean about the things he was feelings. As much as he wanted to be open and honest with Micha, it was hard. He didn't like him seeing those ugly parts of him, knowing what little things upset him. He sometimes felt like more of a burden and less of a partner. Worse, he worried that Micha might feel the same. Whether or not he liked talking about his feelings, he would have to come talk with him properly. If not tonight, soon.

It was likely that Samuel would not sleep tonight. Given his hectic work from the previous night, he had spent nearly the entire day asleep in bed. He didn't mind if Micha wanted to sleep though. After all, he knew that he had been up all day. It made sense if he wanted to sleep. As Samuel continued to lay on top of him, he felt movement. He smirked as Micha moved to lay beside him. His arm moved to wrap around his waist as he turned on his side to face him. "Comfy?" he asked softly.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha hardly saw Samuel as a burden. He merely wished he trusted him more. Micha wasn't sure if it was because he was suddenly in his life again or was the mistrust always there. He wasn't going to push the issue on Samuel. Micha could be cruel too and leave until Samuel had the courage but he couldn't do that to him or himself.

Shifting to lie down, he felt Samuel move closer and slip his arm around his waist. Micha heard Samuel question him. He nodded as he buried himself against Samuel. ”Yup.” Micha responded as he smiled at Samuel. He relaxed beside Samuel. Micha couldn't help that he was starting to get tired.

It wasn't trust that kept him from being honest, but rather fear. He feared that Micha might one day grow bored of him, or that he would find his problems to be too frivolous. That they were nothing more than a rich man's whining. He appreciated Micha's patience with him, as thin as it was. Though the idea of him leaving simply to get him to talk would not help matters. If anything, it would only confirm his fears and doubts.

As Micha moved, Samuel couldn't help reaching out for him. Questioning him, he watched the male nod, and smiled as he made himself comfortable. "Good." Leaning his head down, Samuel pressed a soft kiss to the top of Micha's head. He felt the male relax in his arms. He continued to hold Micha, not minding at all if he wanted to sleep. It had been a long day with a lot of emotions, and finally, at least some answers. Samuel didn't even try to guess how he must have felt. He was only glad that he was able to provide some comfort and a warm place to spend the night.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha had his own fear and doubts though none compared to Samuel. He didn't understand though remained patient. Micha wasn't going to push Samuel. He knew pushing Samuel would only cause harm. While he wasn't content with the answers he had been given, it was best to leave it alone. Micha cared for Samuel not to hurt him in such a way to pressure him.

While Micha had given Samuel comfort and pleasure, he couldn't help but be needy for some of his own comfort. He found comfort in Samuel's arms as he lay here. Micha soon felt Samuel's lips against his head. He smiled to himself as he leaned forward to press his lips against Samuel's neck before pulling away. Micha remained close to Samuel. He allowed himself to be held as he lay there. Micha knew he should get some sleep, his eyes were growing heavy as he lay there.

Samuel was grateful for Micha's patience with him. It was something he would not take for granted. While they still needed to talk, tonight it could wait. As Micha made himself comfortable, Samuel pressed a kiss to his head. In return, he felt Micha place one of his own to his neck. He smiled as he continued to hold him in his arms. Sighing contently, he was happy for the little peace they had found in one another. Although he was not tired, Samuel closed his eyes as well. He laid there basking in the male's warmth and breathing in his scent as he let his mind drift.

The hours passed and at some point same must have dozed off. Opening his eyes, he breathed slowly and deeply so as not to disturb the resting body next to him. A quick glance towards his night stand Samuel could read the numbers on the clock. It was obscenely early, the sun had just barely begun to rise. Glancing down towards his beloved, he contemplated moving, and allowing him the entirety of his bed. Though would likely wake Micha as well and cause suspicion. However, there was no going back to sleep. Samuel even more felt awake and alert than the first time he got up. He supposed he would just have to lie there, it wouldn't be the first time he had watched Micha sleep.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • It wasn't long before Micha fell asleep. He remained close to Samuel as he lay in his arms. Micha enjoyed being held by Samuel. The hours slipped by as he lay. He hardly noticed Samuel waking beside him. He continued to sleep as he lay there. Micha hadn't moved much as he slept. He was content in Samuel's arms. Sleeping next to the male always comforted him. Micha hated sleeping by himself. The only time he slept deep and soundly was when he was depressed. He hated the feeling of sleeping just to disappear for a while.

He understood very well how comforting it was to have someone to sleep with. He too slept better when Micha was around. On the nights when he was alone he would often find himself tossing and turning. Last night, however, was an exception due to his workload. He had been too exhausted not to sleep. Samuel continued to hold the male, noting how he had hardly moved from his spot all night. He thought it sweet, but also worried that Micha had not been sleeping well enough.

As the morning progressed, Samuel stayed beside him. He didn't mind. It was nice, he enjoyed the quiet and stillness of the early hour. He allowed himself to think of how he might continue their conversation, more particularly how to bring it up without making it awkward. Or worse, starting an argument. With another glance towards his nightstand, Samuel wondered how much longer the male might sleep. He was in rush to wake him, but at the same time he would like to get up and make some coffee and have his morning cigarette.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • The idea of continuing their conversation didn't appeal to him. He didn't want to upset Samuel after all he knew he wasn't going to get the answers he wanted. Micha also didn't want to get in an argument. He preferred to keep things neutral so he didn't leave like last time. Micha hated leaving but much preferred it to a blowout. He knew running and avoiding wasn't the answer but he couldn't help it.

Avoiding their issues definitely wasn't not helping. Samuel could understand not wanting to cause another rift. But he feared by avoiding certain topics a rift was inevitable. How could they have a happy and healthy relationship, if their choices weren't always either of those things. As he laid there weighing his options, he sighed softly. He didn't want to be the cause that made Micha feel like he needed to leave again. Even though Micha didn't like to talk about it, he knew how much leaving hurt him. Every time and he just let him go.

With another sigh, he knew he needed to get out of his head. Gently as he could, Samuel pulled away from Micha. He pulled the blanket up so he would stay warm. Padding across the room Samuel pulled a pair of black sweat pants from his dresser. He quickly pulled them on before silently exiting his room. Walking through the empty house, he made his way downstairs. Outside, the sky was a dull grey as the dawn approached. From the foyer he walked down the hall and into the kitchen. He flipped on the lights as he entered and walked towards the cabinet. From there he grabbed a mug as well as a k-pod. Closing the cabinet once more, Samuel busied himself with setting up the machine, and placing his mug beneath the drip. When all of that was done he stood off to the side, waiting.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • It wasn't hard to know he was alone. He'd been plastered against Samuel all night. Micha shifted in the bed as the feel of a warm body slipped away. He lay there for a half hour before he finally noticed enough to wake. Micha drifted toward the empty space causing him to open his eyes. He glanced around the room to see he was alone. Micha wasn't sure for how long.

Rubbing his eyes, he moved to push the blankets off and shift to get out of the bed. Micha stood currently naked as they both had gone to sleep without clothes. He went in search of his jeans. Micha finally found them at the end of the bed practically shoved beneath the bed. He grabbed them, pulling them on, not bothering with his boxers. Micha started down the hallway out of Samuel's bedroom to find him.

Leaning against the counter, the house was still and quiet. Samuel listened, half expecting Micha to be up already. With the way he had clung to his side, he was sure to have noticed his absence by now. He wondered if he ought to make him a cup of coffee as well. As the thought came into his mind he quickly decided against. If Micha wasn't awake then it would be a waste and he wasn't sure if Micha would care for reheated coffee. Probably not, it was never as good as the initial brew. As Samuel stood there thinking, the coffee maker sputtered to a halt as the last few drips fell into his cup. Taking the hot drink, Samuel moved around the island and pulled out a chair.

Samuel took his time sipping at his coffee. The minutes passed by and before he knew it he'd been down there nearly half an hour. Swallowing the last few drops, he rose from his chair to make another cup. Like before, he went through the motions of preparing the machine then hitting the start button. Turning towards the back doors, he could see that the sky had become much cleared as bits of light poked through the trees. From where he stood the house was still quiet so he was completely unaware that Micha had gotten up. Again, the thought of making him something crossed his mind. Though perhaps ordering out might be better. That way if Micha was still asleep, it would be there when he woke up. Liking the idea, he patted himself for his phone only to remember it was still upstairs as were his other devices. Well, so much for that idea.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Walking down the hallway towards the stairs. He took a few guesses to where Samuel would be. Micha figured he'd start downstairs first. He hardly thought Samuel would be hiding where he couldn't find him. Micha descended the stairs then checked the living room first. He didn't see him so he moved onto the kitchen. Micha entered to the smell of coffee being brewed. He saw Samuel leaning against the counter waiting for his coffee as he looked out the window. Micha couldn't help himself as he slipped up behind Samuel and wrapped his arms around his waist. He leaned forward to kiss his back as it was the closest he could reach.

Standing in the middle of the kitchen, he stared out the window facing the back yard. He watched as the morning sun slowly rose through the trees all while contemplating their breakfast options. He still had not heard any movement nor noticed anyone moving through the halls. He listened as the machine rumbled and he was surrounded by the bitter sweet scent of freshly made coffee. Samuel was still day dreaming of a nice hot omelet when a pair of arms slipped around his waist. Without needing to turn around he knew who it was. He smiled as a kiss was pressed against his back, and covered Micha's hand with his own. "Good morning, my love." he said, sweetly. "Might I interest you in a cup of coffee?"
