Anomaly: *wanders aimlessly through a field of tall grass, barely able to see over it*
Curiosity: *Sits on Anomaly's back, watching the grass sway in the wind* Hey! I see something Nomy! *she chitters excitedly and races back and forth along Anomaly's spine*

Terepia:*watches amused as the small skull rabbit and his pet maneuver through the grass. She had been watching their approach for a while and she could tell that they had noticed her now. She clicks her beak in anticipation.*
Anomaly: *Stops abruptly. Having almost run directly into the Hippogryphs legs...and her taloned feet. He slowly looks up* Ummm....he-hello?
Curiosity: *Follows Anomaly's look upwards and sees the large, beaked female. She squeaks and scampers off Anomaly's back and into the grass nearby.*
Terepia:*Cocks her head to the side and idly tracks the prairie dog as it disappears into the grass, before turning back to look at the usdia* Hello rabbit. *Her words are crisp and precise, and she clicks several times while talking.*
Anomaly: *Takes a few steps backwards and looks over the female for a moment, before blushing and averting his eyes* Are you a hippogryph ma'am?

Terepia: *Watched the twin's entrance, completely bemused by their antics. She brings a talon up to her beak to hide her tittering laughter*...Terepia...you may call me Terepia...and this one is? *she looks questioningly at Anomaly*
Anomaly: Anomaly ma'am.*He pauses at the sound of hoofbeats behind him* umm..?
Vesia: *Sighs* That would be the reinforcements then.
Drith: *Trots into the clearing, looking alert. Her eyes widen at the gryph but she doesn't appear too alarmed*
Malice: *Follows his mate quietly. When he spots the gryph he starts grinding his teeth, but otherwise appears calm*
Meowth: *Blinks when he spots the gryph* Nya?
Whisk: *Stops chattering at Meowth when she realizes he's no longer listening to her and follows his gaze* Oooooo another one? We just saw one last week! What a surprise! Do you think she knows the other one Meowth? oh do you? They probably don't but we can go ask! This one's very pretty I must say...*continues chattering*
Sloane: *spots the gryph* Oh...is this really that big of a problem Curiosity? *sighs tiredly and chews on the stem of a meadow saffron. The flower sticking out of his mouth*
Curiosity: *Chitters angrily at Sloane and smacks him softly on the back of the head. She then skitters off his back to return to her original perch. On Anomaly's back.*
Anomaly: *smiles at the return of his companion*
Xanti: *Had been busy watching Curiosity, assessing the possible ways of eating her without Sloane noticing, when she scampers off. Attention no longer diverted he finally glances around. And spots the clawed hippogryph. He roars a warning and charges toward her, jaws open and teeth ready*
Sloane: *sighs again* and there he goes again...
Terepia: *Had been preoccupied and hadn't noticed the approach of the others, but once Drith entered the clearing she had been watching, eyes wide, as the small Usdia group made its way into the clearing. She was amazed by the diversity of the little group as they made their way out of the grass. She had noticed the full sized soq early on...a strange dog-like creature but as it seemed not to notice her so she payed it little attention and instead studied the little usdia. It was his roar that alerted her that something was wrong. He was charging her. Straight for her, teeth glistening in the sunlight. Terepia cried a fierce warning, sounding much like a hawk or an eagle and reared up on her back hoofs, talons clawing the air in front of her.*
Drith: XANTI! What are you doing? *Her voice cracks like a whip and she glares at her lovemate impressively.*
Xanti: *Pauses his headlong charge and swivels his head to look at his mate. Glowing eyes focused on the Usdia, he licks his lips anxiously.* She's a threat. Look at those claws *he growls*
Drith: *Raises an eyebrow* She had been civil and has yet to raise her claws. Do not get ahead of yourself, my dear. Plus, perhaps she would like to join us?
Vesia: *Rolls his eyes at Drith's remark and opens his mouth to say something to Malice. He stops and reconsiders.*
Terepia: *had been tracking the conversation. All four feet on the ground now.* I have no interest in joining your group, I already have a mate waiting for me...I don't intend to attack or fight with you either though. *eyes Xanti* Or at least I didn't.
Xanti: *Growls under his breath but the tension eases out of him somewhat. He scents the air to preoccupy himself*
Drith: Oh...well that's droll...
Anomaly: Ummm where are you headed then, ma'am Terepia? *he asks politely*
Drith: *sneers at her son* Hmmph...brat.
Meowth: Yeah where are you flying off to? The desert? Are you lost, Nya?

Drith: *glares at Vesia*
Vesia: *Holds eye contact for a minute before ducking his head* Fine, sis, I'll do it....Whisk, hey Whisk, stop talking and get over here. Let's go.
Whisk: *had been chattering at Anomaly, who was politely listening to her* Okay! *hops around excitedly before running over to Vesia.*
Vesia: *Escorts Whisk from the clearing, casting a last sorrowful glance at the gryph*
Kezia: *chuckles under his breath happily*
Sloane: *clears throat* So where are you off to again...
Terepia: East. Back to my mate and his family. I got lost yesterday when I was soaring on the air currents. The wind got a little to strong and blew me off course. I had to ground so as not to get blown farther off course.
