For all of your writers if you've ever had someone edit your work and go a little over board you know what I mean. My mom is a perfectionist and decided one to t o serve as my editor so she gets onto my saved copy of a book i had just finished goes through and fixes my terrible spelling but she doesn't stop there she changes part of my story line and changes one of the characters name and her description.
