Everyone has fears and we all say the same thing "Monsters aren't real". You check under your bed and in your closet before sleeping; maybe keep a night light just in case. But what if by some cosmic coincidence you were the monster everyone was afraid of. Keeping a low profile, avoiding contact, and hoping to get by the day without being exposed for what you really are. Truth is us "monsters" are exactly like you. We eat, sleep, laugh, and sometimes love but we also fear you and what would happen if you knew we're real.

Rules:
1. No godmodding or cybering. (if your char. has sex write the foreplay to imply it then time skip thanks)
2. Try not to cause too much havoc if you play an aggressive type of monster that's fine just no alex mercer nonsense =P
3. Everyone has their own storyline and they may intertwine if you have a major event in mind PM me and we can work it in somehow =3
4. This has nothing to do with either the UK or US show just the concept so try not to copy them
5. I may add rules as they come to me. If I do I will tell you so just don't be a douche and let's have fun
6. (Optional) If you have a number higher than 5, then your attack was a hit. If the number is below 5, then no hit simply a miss or the other dodged. If your number is higher than 7, the attack was rather powerful. If you have a total 10, it knocks out the one you attacked temporarily. (This does not apply if one of the players in the battle refuses to use method) If you attack more than twice and each is higher than 7 or 6 then your character starts to tire so -1 next attack. If you've fought and attacked with five attacks then -2.

If you are defending, then vice versa. Higher than 5, you defended the attack normally. If the attack is higher than 7 and your number is lower then you didn't defend very well. If your defending is a total 10, then you defended perfectly and automatically have a free hit to your attacker with the power of 6 which is a basic attack. (This does not apply if one of the players in the battle refuses to use method) If your character has deflected attacks higher than 5 or 6 twice then you start to tire and have to apply -1 from next defense. If you've fought and deflected from five attacks then -2.

GaiaName: Spectrum122
Name: Axel Shadows
Species: Werewolf
Age: 20
Living Arrangements: A small house near the forest on the edge of town. Living alone currently
Bio&Personality: Shy and reserved to new people but extremely caring and fun loving with friends. Going to college and studying to be an author, with musical talent on the side. Having a loving family and enjoying his first taste of freedom life was good for Axel. Sadly it was short lived when he was brutally attacked while out running; he was scratched a bit and bit badly. He stayed in the hospital but turned into something...inhuman and escaped out of the window. Now every 4 weeks this is his cursed reality.

Minnta Aloripma

Minnta Aloripma
GaiaName: Minnta Aloripma
Name: Salem Ravensdale
Species: Witch
Age: Looks young, but is 346
Living Arrangements: She lives in a small apartment in the bad part of town. Currently lives alone
Bio&Personality: Salem was born in the small village of Fiddlesworth, England in 1666. She was completely normal except for the two pupils in her yellow left eye, and no matter where she went, misfortune seemed to follow in her wake. She was eventually chased out of the village at the age of eight and somehow made it to London where she lived on the streets trying to hide her left eye. She was found by an older witch and taught how to control and use her powers and her ability to transform into a small, blond cat with the same mismatched gaze of her human form. The two witches had to keep traveling every few years since their bodies had stopped aging and people growing suspicious, and eventually moved to the town of Salem in the Americas in 1689. They had lived there for three peaceful years until the now famous Salem witch trials of 1692. Salem, who had been going by the name Mary at the time, managed to escape, but her mentor and mother figure wasn't so lucky and was killed. She constantly traveled after that, never allowing herself to stay in one place to long until she came to this town and finally decided to stay for a bit. She wears a blue contact to hide her telltale left eye. She's a generally cheerful person who likes to pull the occasional prank, but is a little skittish around Christian clergy and doesn't like to go inside churches due to bad memories.

GaiaName: Creamsicle Bunnies
Name: Camille Vanilla Fortuna
Species: Human but has a quarter fae blood in her
Age: Seventeen
Living Arrangements: A small loft on top of the town’s bookstore; lives with her busy mother
Bio&Personality: Camille was a child blessed with the love of both her parents who had desperately wanted themselves a baby. Born out of love, Camille grew up to be a gentle one, friendly, free-spirited and imaginative. However, doused with magical blood attracts quite a lot of unwanted misfortune it seems and bad luck decided to pay her a visit, causing her father to die in a mugging. The two had mourned for years until both got back on their feet, Camille going to school regularly and her mother getting a promotion. Her mother ended up getting busier at her job as a business woman and worked more often to pay off the bills, debt, and expenses and such. Eventually, the two had to move to another town in a small loft over the town’s tiny bookstore, though it’s not like her mother is home most of the time, being that she is always on a business trip every other week. But Camille doesn’t mind, used to being alone and is quite understanding, though she gets depressed at times. Had it not been for the way she was raised, Camille probably would’ve ended up a brat with either a rebellious mentality or a wall flower with no backbone. However, Camille is far from that.
Appearance: User Image

GaiaName: Creamsicle Bunnies
Name: Ren Edgar Winterbourne
Species: Vampire
Age: 122 otherwise he plays it as a nineteen year old
Living Arrangements: Currently renting out a room but is looking for a more suitable living arrangement
Bio&Personality: Ren is otherwise very young for his race, a child almost. He isn’t a pureblood, no, he’d be royalty if that were the case and purebloods are hard to come by. His blood is muddied with some small portion of human in there. Nonetheless, his mother was a noble soul, teaching Ren everything to know of his vampirism. His father was practically nonexistent, always delving deep into his work as a writer and thus neglected his family. Eventually, Ren’s parents were killed in a fire when the country decided to purge its people. But his life isn’t one of a sob story nor of hardship. By the time his parent's died, Ren was a bit older and mature, and so accepted their deaths. In the end, he used his parent’s leftover money to support him while and began working menial jobs as an assistant to some higher up in some big business at the time. When everyone ended up dying out, he kept hopping around; trying to go around unnoticed being that he stopped aging. He came into town around two years ago, supposing he’d stay until he found nothing else interesting left.

He is rather quiet, one that doesn’t speak much and chooses his words wisely. But don’t mistake him from shy since he is actually quite playful. He is quite a devoted, loyal type. However, Ren tends to have a temper and can be aggressive at times. He doesn’t get fidgety around blood, no, but has strong desires often enough so that he needs to drink blood at least once a week. When he drinks the blood of a human, most of the time, they can’t remember they even got bit; his saliva able to heal up the puncture wound on that account.
Unlike the movies, he is not vulnerable to light. However, he does have a distaste for garlic and of course, it'd hurt like hell to be decapitated.

GaiaName: Miss Emni Rose
Name: Katherine Elizabeth Monroe
Species: Ghost
Age: She was born in 1954, but died in 1972 at the age of eighteen, and does not age as a ghost.
Living Arrangements: Katherine lives in the attic of her old childhood home, where her now elderly parents still live. However, they are unaware of her.
Bio&Personality: Katherine, or Katie, was a normal girl. She was kind, smart, and polite. Even on a bad day, she would always be ready to offer a soft shoulder and a compassionate ear. However, all that changed only a few months after her birthday. It was night, and there had been a fight in a bar downtown only a fews hours earlier, with one man ending up dead and the other running from the police. Katie always slept with her window open, so that she could see the stars clearly as she slept, and there was never a problem. But that night, the fugitive man found his way to her block, and, seeing a chance for temporary escape, crept into her room as she slept. Being a light sleeper, she woke up, and he killed her before she could call for help. Katie doesn't know why she didn't 'move on,' she jst woke to find herself a ghost. She looks exactly as she did in life, except for the twelve bloody stab wounds in her chest, and the fact that she is nearly transparent. Her opacity varies depending on the lighting and her mood.

Indrallious has since then been rather cynical, planning to get back at the gods who decided it’d be funny to put him here with no way to get back. He has no clue as to how to get back and thus earned himself a rather large temper and anger issues. He can be a little overwhelming and selfish, but it is only because he still holds his grudge. GaiaName: Wire_Colossus
Name: Sparks Livingston
Species: Hominus Nocturna Draco (( Vampiric dragon ))
Age: 211.
Living Arrangements: Currently runs a boarding house in the oldest part of town.
Bio&Personality: Sparks was born to the Livingston family, an entirely vampire clan with a difference. The Livingston clan are of the oldest of vampire bloodlines, they can trace their heritage back to the very beginning of the vampire race. While they appear human, each has the ability to transform into the ancestral form. The form of the first vampire. The legends of Dracula and many human novels are good stories, but they are comforting fairy tales by comparison to the ancestral form. A mighty dragon like creature that could only be compared to the T-Rex in its place in the food chain. At the very top. Sparks is lucky enough to be able to transform into this mighty form, but it comes with a price. While in the transformed state, his metabolism skyrockets, meaning he must feed nightly. He had a fairly normal childhood, never liked the smell of garlic and while indeed a vampire, he was immune to sunlight. His skin was always pale, and silver didn’t hurt any more than it hurt a human. Crosses and holy water do nothing against him. However, Canines of all breeds shy away from him instinctively, and werewolves instinctively know to give him a wide birth. The only supernatural thing about the ancestral form, is the transformation both into it and from it. Sparks has lived for 211 years, and while that is old to a human, he is still treated like a child by his parents. Around half a century ago the Livingston Clan split up to preserve their lives, if too many of them hunted in the same area, the humans would become aware of them and hunt them down. Because Of his family’s unique blood line, they are considered the elite of the purebloods, but at the same time, other vampires have no idea of the clan’s ability to transform.
Appearance: In human form, he’s a charming young man of 19 with blood red shoulder length hair, grey eyes, pale skin, and a thin ungainly lanky build. He tends to wear whatever is comfortable on his skin. However, He has another form. He is one of the last of an ancient family clan from the oldest and most primal race of vampires. The Prehistoric vampire. A Tyrannosaurus Rex like creature that appears somewhere between dragon and bat. A 40ft wingspan, a 60ft body length, two powerful legs, a powerful tail with a bone club at the tip, and 5 tons of rage. A 2ft head, a 7ft neck, 20ft body, and a 31ft tail. Standing 14ft tall at the shoulders, with a mouth filled entirely with talon like interlocking teeth that all act as combinations of hyperdermic needles and siphons, each tooth is hollow and has a vein like channel inside the gums that leads to a secondary stomach. The eyes glow with a faint green light as bioluminescent organs behind the eyes create light through chemical reactions constantly. This light penetrates the back of the eyes and shines out of the pupils. This light is then detected by both the cones and the rods, the cells of the eyes that allow day vision and night vision, and so causes both sets of cells to be constantly active; giving Sparks the ability to see in absolute total darkness and in the brightest of sunlight and even the most intense and prolonged light cannot blind him. His bat like ears swivel at every sound individually and his sense of smell is so strong that even a sniff of garlic can stun him. His jaws work similarly to a crocodiles, the muscles for closing his mouth are incredibly strong, but the ones for opening it are. His jaws are designed by evolution for the purpose of clamping shut on prey and never letting go. In the back of the throat, there is an gland that produces a black oily liquid that when exposed to the cool air outside the body, thickens and becomes so viscous that it has the consistency of tar. Each wing has only three fingers, The pinky and ring fingers making the framing for the wing membranes of the bat like wings. The thumb, index finger, and middle finger of each hand being merged into a single large thumb tipped with an eleven inch long railroad spike like claw. The skin is albino white but has pale golden yellow patches on the areas of the body that have the highest internal temperatures, and the skeleton while huge is fairly light weight, each bone is filled with air sacks and hollows meant to keep the body light enough for flight, but despite the light weight of the bones, Each bone is able to withstand fifteen times the forces that human bones can withstand before breaking. Inside the throat is an organ that through a unique process creates an ear piercing bone chilling death scream like sound that doesn’t end while the mouth is open. The sound never changes pitch and doesn’t stop or pause while Sparks is breathing. All these traits come together to make for a near perfect super predator. The unique eyes, highly sensitive ears, and the powerful sense of smell ensure that it can always tell what is in its environment. The powerful flight muscles and lightweight skeleton allow for prolonged powered flight. The railroad spike like claws on the thumbs are meant for inflicting fatal wounds and for killing, but also work well for climbing. The bone club at the tip of the tail is good for both defense and offense. The specialization of the jaws and the teeth are for clamping down on a prey animal, usually a human, and keeping the prey from getting away as the vein like channels in the gums drain every ounce of bodily fluids from the prey and transport the fluids to the secondary stomach. The process of Draining can take up to an hour, but once the fluids are drained, the prey would already long since have died of blood loss, and then all that would be left would be a collection of almost mummified organs and bones contain within the victims body. These would then be crushed and ground up by the molars, and then maneuvered to the back of the throat to be swallowed whole and taken to the main stomach for digestion. An extremely efficient method of ingesting food. In the event the intended prey should manage to escape, sparks will spit a glob of the black oily fluid onto them, which will cool and become like tar, sticking to them, and giving off an odor comparable to skunk spray in just how bad it smells. This would then allow Sparks to track his victims for up to 48 hours before the gunk would dry up and simply turn to a scentless powder. Even if you manage to wash the gunk off the smell will linger for two days, and so you can still be tracked. The death scream is a brutal weapon meant to intimidate rivals, scare off threats, and to stun prey. The sound at point blank range can kill a human in less than a minute, at 20 feet away it can permanently deafen humans and animals alike, at 20 yards it can hurt the ears enough to make you want to cover them, and at 200 yards the sound can be heard but only faintly. In all this form is truly something to be feared and to be avoided.

Axel awoke, dirty and bloody as usual, in the forest near a stream. "It must've been thirsty last night" He said trying to make light of his situation. He recently started to lay out supplies to have after he changed instead of walking around naked. He checked his watch and it was 10:00 almost and hour after his shift started. He worked at a nearby recording studio hoping to get noticed. "Crap my boss is going to kill me for this" He thought sprinting through the woods

Katherine looked out the dust covered window in the attic and sighed. Sometimes, when she was in a melancholy mood like this, she'd think about how much everything had changed since she was alive. The cars looked different, the music that poured out of them was obscene, and the clothes that the people driving them wore were absolutely ridiculous. Pants so baggy they hung down to a boy's knees, and skirts so short that you would think there had been a shortage of material. Her mood, combined with the dim light in the attic, made her nearly opaque, although all the color in her face and clothing wasdeeply shadowed, making the bright red bloodstains on her chest seem even brighter and more noticeable. From downstairs she could hear the recorded laughter of a sitcom, issuing from the old tv her parents owned. "Hmm, I bet Papa's watching reruns of Happy Days again." Katherine murmred to herself. It was a game she loved to play, calling it 'Guess What Is Going On Downstairs'. Suddenly, the chime of the doorbell surprised Katherine. She glanced at the ancient cuckoo clock. "Ooh, I forgot that today was Saturday! It must be Mama's turn to host the bookclub meeting!" In her mind, she pictured her mother rushing to the door, apron covering a nice, old-fashioned floral dress. The door would open, and a stream of elderly ladies in fancy hats with beaded purses would flood in. There would be some small talk, and Mama would pour tea for everyone in her nice china teacups, while they nibbled on fresh-out-of-the-oven, sugar-free cookies and little cakes.

Deciding it was best to go outside rather than keep to the dreary and stark atmosphere in her home, Camille hopped down the stairs with a bounce in her step and a smile on her lips. She turned the small corner, three steps away from where she landed and gave a wave at the man in the store front. Cid owned the small book store she lived over, a kind older man. His son, Aidenn helped out sometimes at the counter and there he was today, looking as bored as ever waiting for a customer to come inside. His face lit up when he saw Camille, giving her a wave. "That new issue just came in two days ago. Come pick it up," he called to her through the always open door. Camille nodded and went on, making a mental note to pick it up.
She had decided today, since today felt like such a good day, to visit the woods since that seemed to be the best place to pluck wild flowers. She often found homage in the woods, finding that the trees and the grass and the other plants had a certain calling to her fae blood. She was only a quarter so she didn't have such glamour or powerful magic like other fae but she did have a small affinity to nature. The woods were an isolated place and people rarely wander around there; the prime spot to be alone with herself. She hummed a small tune, soft and hardly audible as it was, as she walked down the street. Since she lived in one of the more unpopulated parts of town, she didn't see too many people. And by the time she stopped humming, she was at the city's edge, to the left the woods and to the right the woods. She dared to step off the side walk, tottering down the small slope that led to the forests and eventually walked one with the ancient stalks that stood upon the earth. She sucked in a huge breath, holding it in her lungs before releasing it past her lips. This was where she belonged. She took off her shoes and walked forward, knowing her way around the roots with ease. The grass called to her, enchanting as it was, and beckoned her to come. She sat on the grass, comfortable all alone in her spot as if she had a sense of belonging. It was so hard to submit to her human side, since she couldn't tell anyone about her magical blood except those closest to her. Sometimes, at school, she longingly desired to take off her shoes and stand on the grass or climb a tree. Something outside. But she always had to restrain herself in which resulted in having little to no friends. She gave a soft, almost melancholy sigh before laying on her back, staring up at the calling blue sky. The little peonies spoke light of her, whispering sweet words for her to sleep and she did, despite it being still morning, having no dreams to comfort her troubled mind.

Darting through the woods while getting dressed probably wasn't the best idea but Axel couldn't afford to be late again. His pants were nearly on but unbuttoned and his shirt, hanging from his neck. "Man can this day start off any worse?" He asked himself just before tripping over tree roots. He was about to scream out of frustration when he noticed a young girl laying there. Shocked and slightly embarrassed he ran off without a word hoping she didn't notice him.

Salem hums softly to herself as she walks down the town streets, checking her watch every now and again as she does so. She sighs as she looks up at the sky. "Bored...", she mutters,"When did life get so boring..?"

Camille sat up, hearing the disturbance somewhere above her head. The grass wavered, as if warning her of the intruding stranger. Her green hair lay about her shoulders messily, having slept for about twenty five minutes in the grass, her clothes wrinkled and hung loosely to her slender body. She was a bit frightened at first, thinking it might be someone harmful; a murderer or rapist perhaps, but there she saw a man half dressed. He looked fustrated, probably having tripped while trying to change. He probably just finished having -cough- with his girlfriend and was running late for work or something. She gave a soft laugh and watched him run off, probably embarrassed to be seen in such an ill moment. She gave a small wave, as if to say goodbye.
When he finally did dissapear, she got up from her spot and dusted herself off. She straightened out her clothes and pulled blades of weeds out of her hair before picking up her shoes. It was nice coming here from time to time; one got to see quite interesting things.

Camille wandered around a little longer though, searching for a good bushel of flowers to pick from before spotting tiny bright ones on the side of the tree. She bent hither, finding the delicate petals wrapped up in a cocoon. The extent of her prowess laid in the simple fact that as she tenderly carressed the side of the small bud, the flower unwrapped itself, welcoming the fresh air with its yellow face. She smiled lightly. Camille picked a couple and went about her way back to her home, saying goodbye to the trees. Though she could not hear their voices, she knew they were saying their byes to her. She went about her way back to the loft, stopping down stairs to give half her handful of flowers to Aidenn and pick up the book she ordered before going upstairs. she immediately got a glass for her flowers, setting that on the window sill and watched them as they sat there. She smiled happily at them.

She was not a full fae, no, not in this day and age where modern times sort of ruined the ancient folk, so her powers contained nothing but being able to grow things and 'feelings' she got when she was with nature. She couldn't exaclty communicate with plants, no, but she always felt comforted by them as if they were. She gave another listless sigh as it appeared the flowers would only but sit there. Camille was bored, nothing to do in her empty home. Her mother wouldn't be home today or tomorrow -- she didn't know when she would return from her trip -- and so Camille was left to her own devices on how to survive who knew how long.

Camille left her book on the coffee table, still awaiting her to crack its spine, as she again left the place in search of something to do. Ending up on the more busier side of town with many store fronts, studios, and other such places, Camille was left but to wander and stare about the large windows to see what went on inside.
