About. Kai is practical. She's helpful to and accepting of most anyone. She has bad luck. She likes to do things herself as a matter of pride and she dislikes having to ask for help. She sees no value in things she sees as impractical and ends up missing out on things, because of that.

She doesn't like Skinwalkers or Kalona.

She dotes on foals, even those of Skinwalkers and Kalona. She'll tolerate game playing by foals only and she'll even join in their games if they ask her.

History. Kai was born and raised in the deserts of the Kawani lands. She only knows about the Cerynei homeland from stories her parents told her. Her parents passed more down to her than just stories. They're also where she got her hatred of Kalona and Skinwalkers and her love of foals, because of their love for all living things and how they believed those two races disrespected them.

When she came of age, she went to live on her own. She met Nilchi later. The two of them have been traveling since then.

Now, she is a part of the Vanaras herd where she acts as a scout.

About. Doli loves most everyone and everything. If you don't look scary or you haven't done anything to scare her, then she'll treat you very kindly. She's a lover, not a fighter. When the going gets tough, she gets going. She's a story teller who loves hearing stories just as much as telling them.

She's a whimsical soquili who genuinely believes butterflies talk to her. She gets upset when others don't believe her. She also believes she's on a mission to find the blue bird of happiness.

History. Doli was born and raised in the deserts of the Kawani lands. When she came of age, she went to live on her own, and frankly, sucked at it. She was constantly running away from anything she perceived as a threat. When Kai saw the sorry sight, she took Doli as her protégé. The two of them began living together after that. Doli really blossomed under Kai's mentorship.

Sik'is is Dibe's constant companion.

He starts off liking everyone. He has no reason to hate anyone he has never met before. If he doesn't like someone, it's because he knows from personal experience that they're rotten.

He's friendly and playful.

Since he has no concept of personal property, he'll "steal" things as part of a game or because he likes them.

He's good with his hands.

Niyol is intelligent, playful, and can take a lot of abuse. He abides to the old adage, "sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me." When he's insulted, he just turns it into a game of playing the dozens. When someone tries to fight him, he turns it into a game too. He tries to see how many hits he can dodge, parry, etc. or how fast he can swim away from them.

That said, he has a long memory and holds grudges. If someone continually harasses him, no matter how many times he tried to dissolve the situation, then he won't be pleased. If you cross him, then he'll plot how to get back at you and bide his time until he's able to bring his plans to fruition. He tries to convince Soquili and other animals to join in on his schemes too.

He's a wanderer who isn't attached to any Soquili in particular.

Nilchi adores his partner, Kai. When he isn't off running an errand for her, such as looking for an oasis or getting food like saguaro fruit, dates, and figs, he is perched on her shoulder or flank.

He likes spicy food best.

He also loves the ladies. Not just the macaw ladies. All of the ladies. In other words, he is a huge flirt.

He enjoys singing, dancing, and listening to music and he has a soft spot for anyone musically inclined.
