Also, following general role-playing rules, I ask that there be no G-modding, auto-hitting/killing/dodging/controlling, or general unfair play; you are only in control of your character(s), and have no right to control other peoples' unless they consent.

I'm no snob at literacy. Well, I don't try to be one anyway. And I don't expect every one here to be typing perfect English. Not looking for perfection but spell check is such a useful tool. Make use of it for those of you who have it. Minimum post should consist of one paragraph (3-5 sentences). One-liners are okay once in a while but try not to make a habit of it.

For posting style, do whatever. Include pictures, song lyrics, and or quotes for all I care. For those who do not want to, you do not have to. I only ask that you do not use overly bright colors, page stretching pictures, and fonts no smaller than 9. Resize and Crop tools are your friends. Make use of them. No excuse. I'm a huge procrastinator, so huge it became such a bad habit. Though I ask people to be active, there is no need for rushed posting. Take your time, wait for other's to post and have fun. Our Island

Here out in the middle of the Pacific, somewhere. Not sure since most of us aren't how we got here. Direction wise that is. Many of us on this island aren't human either, we're our own species in itself normally and have our own way of surviving. Most of us come from the same place we've been created, usually at different times. Our numbers have grown and we've band together to survive easier.

Times and stress grew hard though, everyone has different ideas and ways of going about things. The group split into two, one traveling deeper into the jungle onto the other side of the island the other staying closer near the beach opposite from the group. A civil war is out, both sides in disagreements. For why the leaders moved to dislike eachother with great intensity, it's a bit vague to the rest of the public. Which side are you on? Beach side or Mountain Side?

* Sweet and simple, your a mutant creature (I'd rather it be half human, half animal something, but I don't mind people being creative.) Your either on the side that lives closer to the beach or deeper in the jungle though they do have beach acess on a different side also. If you want to be a leader of one side, then you can PM me about history and such because I havn't really come up with it ,yet. Leaders may choose their own history and how things run ect.

History

Ben grew up in a large facility for many of his same kind, and on his last day he was sent out onto a cruise where the boat wrecked and he fled into the water. He luckily didn't die and washed up on shore to be taken in for care. He's a normal human being with the ability to bend energy is all. He's mostly on this side of the island because it's where he was found and is one of the newer arrivals of the island though he didn't come from a lab like most others.

Abilities
Energy Bending allows him to absorb and re-direct attacks, or create pure energized attacks on his own. He can boost his own physical abilities forn a little short time also if needed.

Other
He's never really seen another female in his life except only recently (He's aware what a girl is though). He doesn't think they're strange, just looks different obviously, but everyone here looks a bit strange to him also.

History

Taken as an infant, sold by parents, he was sent in for experimentation like many others. He was a male, but with the Jellyfish DNA it took away his sexual organs period. He spent many long years in the labs until he worked with escape for him and many others. Through a lot of sabotage and a lucky break with a plane they were able to escape, of course they didn't really get far. They were chased and shot down, taken and put onto the island. Many believe they just crashed down onto the island, Amil knows they're being watched often. He wanted to learn and find a way to get back to being human, and help others achieve the same thing. A way to get off this island and get to a civilization, he's an idealist. To build and to escape the island is what he aims for and many that follow him, of course it'll be no easy task. Others that didn't agree avoided him absolutely. Amil hides most of his work within the mountain caves so anyone spying or watching would have a much more difficult time. It's dangerous though, if some unwanted eyes figure what they're up to then it could put a lot in danger. Amil finds it worth the risk.

Abilities
If physically touched Amil has the ability to sting whomever, and has a good camoflauge technique as well. He's a lot more resilient than an average human, a bit soft or squishie to the touch also. His hair is a bit sticky and he normally has to be moist in which the damp air of the jungle works for him.

Other
He is a very pale creature, but has a more purplish tent to him and his eyes are bright pink/purple that will glow at night. He'll feel moist to the touch.

History

Mercy was born to a very well off and wealthy family. From the very start she was given anything she could ask for and was encouraged to work her hardest to achieve her goals. Her dream was to become a world famous Opera singer, in fact. To her pleasure, she had the talent and potential to reach her dreams. Unfortunately, Mercy just had to have a motherly instinct when it came to her loved ones. Her best friend was not so well off, and in order to get by, she married a man she didn't love. Mercy's friend was physically abused by her husband, and once Mercy discovered this, she felt that she had no choice but to intervein. After several failed attempts at convincing her friend to leave, her husband caught on and started punishing her every time she saw Mercy. In a desperate attempt to protect her friend, Mercy murdered her husband. Immediately afterwards, she turned herself in. Originally, she was supposed to live out a 25 year sentence. Due to her good behavior, Mercy was offered the opprotunity to leave Jail early - in exchange for participating in scientific research. One can easilly imagined what happened next. Currently, Mercy lives deeper within the Jungle, collecting whatever few books she can get her hands on.

Abilities
When Mercy sings, the objects around her release a slight echo in which only she and other bat-mutants can hear. It is not a strong echo, but it is enough to locate missing objects or hidden organisms within the area.

Mercy has a habit of speaking in exaggerated prose.

History

Ech was one of the more original experiments. The purpose of the experiment wasn't to turn a human into a complete robot, though they did manage a lot of that. She was sent into a fatal physical state and they made it to where there was no physical way to save her actual body. The purpose was to turn a dead human being into something useful again, and she was the first success (Except she was only dead for a few minutes.) They have been still working around ways to figure if they could take the body to regenerate it and re-create it. Ech is designed to be a weapon no less with specific purpose built into her. She was tossed aside for more experimentations of the future, but was used to protect, defend, and destroy if needed. In the long run she was shut down and put aside for dismemberment. Another experiment (Amil) came a long though and stowed her away along with him as he successfully escaped with a few other members. They figured how to boot her back up and she works for the leader with what she feels as little purpose.

Abilities
There is a lack of energy on the island, but she manages with natural resources (Water, Solar, Wind.) and few inorganic materials. She is very fast and strong in this state, but if ever with a large amount of energy then she can fly, unleash her weaponary still within her (Rockets, missles, lasers ect.) and calculate much faster. If only given the energy, she will be incredibly strong.

Other
Most of her time is spent teaching others, helping to build, and scanning objects. She will be used for combat, and follows any order of the leader. Does not feel physical pain and is about as hard as a rock. She appears human and where ever her little humanity lies is a mystery

History

Robert had implants put into him about a year back to help him use his abilities better but he didn't trust putting machine parts in himself so he only got a minimal upgrade but this happened to save his life when a plane he was on started to crash. Robert was the only one who could use his eyes even compared to other cybernetic-ally advanced passengers on board to find a safe spot. After washing up on the beach Robert spent a year there just minding his own business unless it involved him or one of his few friends.

Abilities
His eye sight was above average originally but with the enhancement Robert can now analyze all the information in front of him and react to make the most logical or sound decision based on what he would like to do, much like a machine but better. Another trait more than an ability is Roberts ability to react faster than others in most situations due to having to live with his advanced eye sight.

Other
Robert doesn't ignore or stay away from other because he has a social disorder or just doesn't like people. It is more of his way of analyzing first then acting.
