CHILDHOOD Minnie was raised by her maternal grandparents, Orville and May Fenwick. Her grandparents were quite strict and always seemed to have no patience for any 'nonsense', meaning fairytails or magic. Both muggles, Minnie's grandparents had four kids, three were as ordinarily muggle as them, their third child, Abigail Fenwick, was different: Abigail was a witch. Orville and May were happy to send Abigail to Hogwarts where she could build her talents, but as Abigail went through school, Abigail grew more and more distant. She didn't want to come home for the holidays, and during the summer she often would sneak out to spend time with her friends-the wrong sort of crowd. Abigail, unlike Orville and May's three other children who stayed at home to go to school in town, had adopted a far more care free lifestyle.

At seventeen, a year before Abigail would graduate from Hogwarts she declared "I'm a witch so I'm an adult and I don't need you two bossing me around" and left home not to contact them again till three years later when she called to let her parents know she was pregnant and she was planning on aborting the child as it was the product of a one night stand and she didn't want to contact the father out of 'not wanting to bother him'. Orville and May agreed to take the child in and let Abigail stay with them on the condition she did inform them of the father's name in the case the child ever asked. Abigail decided to oblige only giving the name "Deveron" and that he was "amusing enough" and from some "old wizard family but she didn't remember the last name".

Three days after Minnie was born, her name the idea of May Fenwick, Abigail disappeared, never to show up again. In the meantime, the couple were determined to raise Minnie without any knowledge of the wizarding world, and when odd things happened around her denied their existence. Minnie's grandparents felt that being a witch had put Abigail on her reckless course and were determined to raise their granddaughter "right" like their other three children. Unfortunately, for Orville and May Finwick, on Minnie's eleventh birthday a very short man by the name Deveron appeared at their door with Minnie's letter to Hogwarts. It did not take long for between Orville, May, and Deveron to come to the conclusion the school governor so happened to be Minnie's real father. After much argument about Minnie going to Hogwarts, Orville and May gave in at Deveron's insistence and reluctantly agreed to work with him in assisting Minnie in her wizarding education.

CHILDHOOD She was born 2 minutes later than her twin sister and Ver has always enjoyed holding that over her head. For the first 5 years of her life she lived with her older sister Michelle and her mother and father in a small cottage happily. Right around her 5th birthday, her grandfather visited in the middle of the night and tried to murder her older sister. The next morning, her father packed their things, and they left the cottage behind... and Michelle. She figured they would be returning for Michelle but they never did.

They moved in with her aunt Maggie, Uncle Blake, and cousin Gracie. It was around this time that Gracie had begun showing magical abilities and Uncle Blake was introduced to the magical world. After moving in with them, Ver's mother grew angrier and angrier until one day around her tenth birthday, her mother just disappeared. They never really heard from her again.

SCHOOL YEARS

FIRST YEAR In her first year she was sorted into Gryffindor and immediately found an affinity for Cameron Rowley. She joined the Gryffindor team as Keeper. When summer came, she and Ver went on a rescue mission for Darius Silver and he moved in with them. Over summer while they were out shopping, a man attacked the home and murdered Aunt Maggie and Uncle Blake and almost killed Gracie too. The place was practically burned to the ground and they went to live with Vincent Catlin, Olyvia Catlin and Michelle for the rest of the summer.
SECOND YEAR Cam and her began dating this year, and Elli switched from Keeper to Chaser. But the team didn't make a single point the entire year.
THIRD YEAR The Merediths moved away and Remy became captain of the team. She made Elli VC. Cam and her got into a fight because he got put on reserve again and blamed Elli for it. Just as they were making up she found out he had kissed Rui over summer but he swore that it was she who kissed him and he stopped it immediately. But when he invited her to meet him at a room late at night she found him snogging Rui AGAIN. She dumped him right then and there. By the end of the year it became clear though that Rui had set the whole thing up just to cause chaos and they got back together.
FOURTH YEAR A curse hit the school and all the muggleborns began falling into comas. Cam included. Remy also cheated to win a quidditch game and break the losing streak but she was caught and kicked out of the captain spot, So Elli became captain.
FIFTH YEAR Her first year as captain and she lost every single game.
SIXTH YEAR This was Cam's last year at school. She brought the team to a win and even won them the Quidditch cup this year.
SEVENTH YEAR She won the quidditch cup again this year and even got scouted for the English team, but she had to decline because she was pregnant.

POST GRADUATION Kory was born a few months after graduation. Kory was a colicky baby and Elli swore she was going to lose her mind because of him. Cam was pretty absent in Kory's early life and Elli was dejected and lonely. She ended up having an affair with Chalmes Whitethorne, before finally breaking it off with Cam and moving in with Chalmes. Cam is in Kory's life more now, which is good for Kory she thinks. Elli gave birth to twin girls Lilah and Lilith. She has rejoined quidditch finally and is officially married to Chalmes. So officially she's a whitethorne... yay? Kory changed his last name along with her. And her cat died after almost 19 years of living with her. She was just now getting okay with the idea of getting a new pet.

CHILDHOOD He was born a week late and was a colicky baby. His first few years were spent mainly with his mother and Granpa Mikey and Auntie Ver. When his mum met Chalmes he took an extreme liking to both him and Chance and claimed them as his family. Chalmes is officially his daddy in his mind and he couldn't care less about his actual father. He doesn't even refer to him as daddy or father. Although not to his face, he does refer to him as "The Idiot" around his mother and Chalmes. His favourite colour is pink. At some point Kory began to realize he was more of a she. and with some help from her Aunt Tassy they were able to convince her parents of this as well. Since then she has fully embraced the way of girl, she wears skirts and pink and whatever she wants. She's grown out her hair and her mother helps her braid it and style it. She even helps her mother take care of the twins too. Soon she'll be going to Hogwarts just like her older brother Chance.

Kory's parents did finally get married, which was nice and she was happy to finally have a whole finished family. The twins were getting older and much more annoying, so when Kory did finally receive her letter for Hogwarts she all but died of happiness. Of course, it was a year late because of her stupid birthday. She'd be turning 12 only a few days after school started! But she was still finally going! And Desi and Zach were going to be in her grade!

SCHOOL YEARS

FIRST YEAR Upon arriving to Hogwarts, Kory was sorted into Gryffindor. She was not surprised by this outcome though. Both her parents were Gryffindors after all. She also tried out for the Quidditch team and got a reserve spot as a beater. She made a couple friends and went to all her classes.
SECOND YEAR Kory supposed her year was fun enough. She enjoyed quidditch practice, and found the classes to be easy enough. She hoped her life continued along on this sort of easy path.

■ OCCASIONALLY KIND I'm a rather angry person. However I have my kind yet happy moments. They don't happen often and neither do the rare smiles I give out. It's not that I don't care... Cause I do I’m just not ready to show it or really allow it to come through. Though truthfully I'm better at being nice to others, after I realized I was being a complete jerk. I didn't want to be like that anymore. Maybe I'm losing my touch.
■ EASILY IRRITATED Like I said I'm only occasionally kind as such I am easily frustrated by thing. The simplest little things irritate me to no end. It's amazing how some people I deal with don't send me right off the handle.
■ UNFORGIVING I never forget when someone does something wrong. I'm still bothered about the death of my mother. I wish I could get her back, turn back time and change everything but I can't. It's only as of recent I'll stopped hating my sister Grace for it all.
■ HOTHEADED Like my sister I'm hotheaded. It doesn't take much for me to blow my fuse and when I get mad I speak my mind. When that happens I couldn't say a nice thing if I tried. Solving all my problems with fights I don’t back down and won’t let others tell me how it’s going to be.
■ OPINIONATED With that said I am also quite opinionated. I'll say what I think and won't hold anything back. My opinions have little to no filter however when I'm not pissed off I'm not as harsh.
■ COWARDLY Despite being opinionated I'm certainly not brave. I wish I didn't act like such a coward but I have no idea how to change that. Not that I'll ever show it. No, I'll never show my weaknesses... Slytherins don't do that.

CHILDHOOD I was born three years after my sister Leonette. Life was great we hung out all the time especially with mom. However with the coming of my younger sister Grace that all changed. I went from cooking in the kitchen with my mother and sister to being alone. I lost my mother and I was replaced by my younger sister. Nobody cares about me anymore it's all about Grace. She can do no wrong and so much like our mom was. It drives me crazy how much everyone thinks she is so great.

Unlike my sister's I’ve never been able to figure out which parent I’m most like whether it’s my mother or father. However that doesn’t matter to me. I don’t want to be like anybody else except for my own person. However if I had to take a guess I would say I'm a combination of both or at least I used to be. I love the brutal game of both wizards chess and quidditch. However nobody I know can stand to hang with me for that long.

I want to go to Hogwarts so that I can get away from my house and my family. I’m sick of being stuck with the memory of my mother not being around. With my father not being around for obvious reasons I’m left to my own devices until then. Besides I'm sick of watching my sister's hang together like everything's fine and dandy.

SCHOOL YEARS

I started off my school year with a confusingly supportive older sister and an attitude for making people dislike me. I became friends with Wendy Chaisty a girl who happened to be David’s cousin. Then I quite literally walked into a mute Ravenclaw named Timothy. His best friend and my housemate Benjamin quickly bit my head off and I was quick to bite back. Though after that I started getting a guilty conscience and went to find the boy to apologize.

We quickly became friends and then started dating in our third year. That’s when my sister Grace was sorted into Ravenclaw. Oh and I went to Timothy’s mum’s wedding. It was awkward but I was happy for her. That coming summer I found out my sister got engaged. No, I wasn’t happy about it. Don’t get me wrong David is great but I thought he would have told me about it first. After that I talked to Leo about everything and I guess you could say I broke and said more then I should. As it turns out I just didn't want to lose my sister and Leo just didn't want to lose David.

Before going back to school David’s mother was killed which made me think about how Leah would end up like me. Heading into fourth year, Wendy started the year off by giving me some advice about my choice of boyfriend. I don't want to say it concerns me but I don't want to be disowned... I asked Leonette about things but she pushed it off as being nothing I should worry about. It's just like her to make light of things. So instead I asked David and let's say I got a less settling answer. At the end of the year Wendy asked me to help run the music club, so I guess that makes me co-owner.

Just when I thought my fourth year was over neo-death eaters showed up and attacked Hogsmeade. IN all the chaos all I wanted was to find Timothy or Leo. Instead I found Grace. She pushed me out of the way of a spell and took the hit herself and fell unconscious. It was the first time I felt worried about her and honestly cared about her wellbeing. Luckily Grace was back in good health in time for Leo’s wedding. The wedding was good aside from Wendy’s father and my little slip up with mentioning Timothy’s last name. Coming into my fifth year I got Grace to try out for Quidditch which was fun. That summer Camila had a party which I might have snuck out too. It was pretty fun and I didn’t feel like a complete outcast.

Sixth year, I was having a tough time and Timothy thought it was about him. Perhaps if I just talked to him about feeling like I was being viewed as the way I was when we first came to Hogwarts, maybe that wouldn’t have happened. I just have insecurity issues I guess… I didn’t help that I didn’t make vice-captain… Come October David's father was murdered by the Averys. I hadn't found out until I got the letter from Leo saying what happened. After talking to Wendy I got the idea. Maybe I talked her into turning them in but regardless they've been put away for a long time. I met Sinclair once and honestly I never thought he was bad even if he was a squib. Luckily my nephew Christopher was born a month after that. There was also masquerade ball which Timothy and I attended. I put Grace up for auction and someone bided on her. Of course they did since I picked her outfit for her. She was looked stunning... not as stunning as me of course but still pretty good for her.

In the spring of 2032 my cousin David got married. Come fall I was walking into my final year of school as head girl. Passing my NEWTs I don’t know what I’m going to do after graduation just yet. For now I’ll be remaining at home until then at least.

POST GRADUATION Since graduating I still live at home. However, I recently decided to become a potioneer after my younger sister suggested we work together. While waiting for her to graduate, I’ve been getting things set up for as. Aside from work related stuff, Spice passed away. For our anniversary Timothy took me to the pet shop where I got a new familiar, a flying squirrel which I named Snow.

In 2035 Timothy asked me to marry him. Of course I couldn't say no. After all I couldn't see myself being without him. June 2037 we finally got married. Life has been good so far as a married woman. Since we don’t have kids of our own, I’ve taken to kidnapping (babysitting) my niece and nephew. It’s super fun teaching Chris all about Quidditch. Jess doesn’t seem interested, but I still love her. My aunt and uncle were murdered the summer of 2039. I don’t completely understand it but I try not to dwell on it. A year later Chalmes was also killed... I'm beginning to think my family is cursed or something. At least Grace got engaged then and by spring of 2043 she got married to Avian.

Since then my sister Grace hasn't had the greatest luck with the next step. Then again neither have I. Granted Timothy and I aren't exactly trying. When we had our daughter Sierra I was over joyed to be a mum. Though she struggled with otitis media with infusion, which ultimately gave her some hearing lose. I felt terrible that I couldn't have done more but Timothy and I knew how to deal with it. When she turned eleven she headed off to Hogwarts like the rest of the family. It was a proud day, her being sorted into Hufflepuff. Hopefully all would go well.

CHILDHOOD
xxx»» Lorelei was born of an affair between her mother Charlotte, a wealthy socialite, and Lindsay Lovell, a powerful businessman. Charlotte was only one of a series of affairs, and the only one to date which resulted in a child. Lorelei grew up knowing that her biological father was married to another woman, though he had gone through several other women over the course of her life. To date, he has had three wives since her birth. Lindsay remained a distant figure in her life, visiting on rare occasions to check in on her, and providing for her mother when it was needed, though this was rare. When Lori was four, her mother married her stepfather Emerson, who adopted her as his own. Of her three parents, she has always been the most fond of Emerson, who seems to love her more than both her biological parents combined. Her biological father never really showed much interest in her, at least until she received her Hogwarts letter. Emerson had been the only one she had entrusted with the knowledge of her unusual abilities, at least until she'd received the letter. At that time, her mother had tried to keep it a secret from Lindsay, but having been through a similar situation with his legitimate son Leslie, he caught on quickly that his daughter was magical.

SCHOOL YEARS
xxx»» Upon arriving at Hogwarts, Lori quickly became frustrated with how many of her classmates and even teacher approached answering her questions about magic. She ended up spending more time in the library than not, reading any and every book that she thought might help her fill in the blanks. She developed a reputation for being the one to ask if you had odd or complicated questions. She also became the one to ask if you wanted to know how to locate any of the secret passages in the school, as a challenge laid down by her older brother resulted in her learning the locations of most of them by the end of first year. It was during one such excursion she befriended her roommate Gia. Over the course of her years she would develop a better social life than she'd ever had in the muggle world, making friends with most of her yearmates. One such friend was Tristan Hastings, who she quickly realized was a werewolf. She kept his secret, and grew quite close to him due to being one of the only people who knew it. She also developed a close friendship with Hufflepuff Zeph Whitethorne while attempting to help him study, something that was a struggle for him as he had dyslexia.
xxx»» During her fourth year, Lori's mother became engaged in an affair with her biological father. Lori eventually told her stepfather, only to discover that he'd known for a while, and was planning on leaving her mother. However, he was holding off on it while he attempted to ensure that he would be granted custody of Lori, given that he was not her biological parent. Before his plans could come to fruition, Emerson died of what was claimed to be a heart condition. In reality, Lindsay had arranged to have him killed, a fact Lori suspected but could not prove. Her mother then informed her that they were selling their home, and moving in with Lindsay. Lori chose to run away, staying with Tristan because she knew she'd never be found with him. Les used some legal trickery to purchase the Townsend's home, giving it to Lori when she became a legal adult. Meanwhile, meddling from the part of various friends caused Lori to confess to Zeph that she had feelings for him, which he reciprocated, and the two began to date.
xxx»» Lori moved back into her family home before her seventh year, along with her housemate Carver, who as an orphan did not have a home once he became a legal adult. When she returned to school, she focused her efforts on studying for her exams. Zeph surprised her by proposing before the school year was up, not wishing to be like his manwhore of a father.

ADULTHOOD
xxx»» Lori said yes to Zeph's proposal, but refused to marry him until they had proven to themselves that they were actually compatible as adult partners and not just teenage schoolmates. He moved in with her, at first living in his own rooms at first, but they soon remodeled the master bedroom and moved in. Lori, having always been interested in how magic worked and having studied spell creation extensively while trying to help Zeph, elected to become a spell inventor while Zeph began training to become a healer. They wed once Zeph's training period had passed. Once they were married, Lori also began working on remodeling the house so that they could convert it to a safe place for teens in less-than-optimal homes to live in.

Calliope is incredibly fragile, both physically - due to her thin, almost unhealthy physique - and mentally, since she spent her childhood in such odd circumstance. Thanks to being so terribly delicate, Calliope is also incredibly careful with the world around her. She keeps everything perfectly organized and often uses sweet, quiet words so as not to offend anyone. Calliope was born to a lovely little magical family in Gloucester, England. The small family was full of love and happiness. Unfortunately, at the young age of two, she was kidnapped from her family home without so much as a trace of her whereabouts.

What she didn't know, and would not for years understand, was that her captor, Tomlison, was a vampire that had previously been wronged. He had been a vampire hunter for years, but finally he angered the wrong group. He was attacked by the group and forced to become a vampire while the clan killed his family. For years to come, he often took children that he believed reminded him of his young daughter, Anja. Calliope would never learn the fact that she hadn't been the only child.

She was brought to live in the abandoned home of Tomlison Southwark, nestled on the outskirts of Godric's Hollow. He raised her in the dark and shadows of his mysterious lifestyle, perpetually afraid he would be caught and murdered for everything he had done. He never let his worries fall upon Calliope, though he did teach her that they could only step outside in the dark.

Every so often, Tomlison would begin to grow angry and short tempered, which would always end with Calliope being left alone with the cranky old house elf for a few hours at a time. This allowed her to become more independent as she grew, learning to be able to take care of herself better.

As she got a bit older, Tomlison wouldn't leave as often, instead sitting with the young girl and gently biting into her neck. They would only spend a few minutes together, always ending in Calliope passing out and being lovingly tucked into bed by Tomlison, who felt guilty that he couldn't better control his needs.

One night, Tomlison left as normal, but Callie heard quite a commotion outside. She tried to see through the darkened windows, but unfortunately couldn't make out much. Maybe only a short peek wouldn't hurt? She fiddled with the locks, stepping into cold snow with her bare feet. There was a big crowd, so she walked closer, wondering what was going on. One of the crowd-people scolded her for trying to cut the line, and she got tugged into the crowd. Unsure what to do, she walked along with them, stopping at a park she didn't know was there. Looking up, the sky erupted with color, amusing the girl to no end.

As the colors died down, an older lady hurried over to Callie, wrapping her in a jumper and scarf, asking where home was, and if she was okay. Callie tried to say she was alright, and that home was only a short walk away, but the lady was clearly frazzled with worry.

Just as the woman started asking more serious questions, Tomlison swooped in, handing the woman back her warm clothes and taking Calliope back to their home, a small growl in his voice. He scolded her for leaving, though she could vaguely discern the upset in his voice. She was marched off to bed, but woken up only a few short hours later by a bunch of people storming in.

There were a group of Aurors, Hit Wizards, and a few people from the child protections team. One of them gently pulled Calliope aside, leading her out of the small house. The girl whined about being out in the daytime, but allowed the adults to take her away. It seemed to happen so fast, but ended up with Calliope being moved into Wool's Orphanage, since she had no family readily found.

In first year, Callie was lucky to make friends and find a wonderful Astronomy Club to join. She discovered that several professors were quite nice, which made going to the large school quite a bit better.

In second year, things got a little wild. Early on, she'd been wandering as she normally did, but she got caught by Professor Whitethorne. After a nice discussion, they parted ways. Several other nights, Callie found herself back at the office, talking, practicing potions, or whatever else. Then came a big surprise. Professor Whitethorne - Ada - and her wonderful husband - Chris - had a nice sit down talk. They wanted to adopt her, but they also wanted her to know they were vampires (which made sense, given Ada's preferred office and class hours). After repeated promises that they'd never bite her, she agreed. Something about them brought her to feeling trust.... plus she was happy to have a real family, siblings included.

The further school progressed, the more friends she seemed to attract. She even had a few dates with Chadwick Archer, before he confessed his attraction to another. Despite heartbreak, she was truly happy for him and Finley. Shortly after, Eden Harper asked for a date, and the two fell head over heels. They had several dates, including one set up in the bell towers to watch the nightfall. Even with her sordid past, he accepted and loved her. After her sixth year, he had graduated, and despite them being far apart, they always made things work. Every Hogsmeade weekend, they had lunch and walked around, which seemed like a lovely reward from the year's studies.

That winter, they went on a lovely date, ending with ice skating on the Black Lake near her home. Despite checking for safety, the ice cracked and gave way, sending Callie into the icy depths. Eden rescued her, bringing her to his family home for his mum to help her. It was a way to force them into telling his parents they'd been dating the whole time, even after Eden had been told to break it off. It was a very interesting day, even if Callie did enjoy meeting his mum. She had a soft side, anyway.

After graduation, Callie had been planning on living at home a while, but Eden had other plans. At the huge music and arts festival, he proposed marriage, and Callie accepted without a second thought. They got married soon after, under the lights of a meteor shower. Once married, they went on a little honeymoon, a cruise around Iceland to view the northern lights. The next year came with the delightful news that they were expecting. Nine months later brought their little Persephone Bree Harper.

Cassiopeia was born to Alex and Maureen Nightingale, a dying line of Pureblood wizards. Alex and Maureen opted to live away from society, in a cabin built deep in a wooded forest. They kept away from all people, especially other wizards, assuming people might track them down and make them follow the masses. It was at the cabin that Cass learned all about the world, taking time to grow with the flowers and trees. It was a happy, carefree childhood. She never really cared that her parents seldom left, thinking the outside world was cold and cruel. It didn’t stop Cass from dreaming about the world beyond their little forest.
When she was about eight, a kindly neighbor started coming around, befriending the family and giving neat, old world gifts to Cass. He was always really nice, and quickly earned the trust of the rather reclusive family, even if he was weird and only came by after dinner. Maureen especially fancied up to the man, trusting him to help take care of their forest and keep them safe. Alex was a little less enthused, having worked hard to make sure their little slice of earth was safe and protected so their little Cass would never get harmed by outside people.
When Cass was a little past nine, she woke up in the middle of the night to a loud scream. She pushed herself out of bed and hurried toward her parents’ room. There, she saw a shadowy figure holding her mom, who looked limp. The figure made eye contact, which chilled Cass to the bone. She quickly ran back to her room and hid.
The next morning, Cass went to investigate, finding both her parents dead, but lovingly tucked into bed. The girl cried all day, trying to figure out what to do. She didn’t know any magic and they didn’t have a phone. Curse being weird, tree loving people.
That night, their neighbor came over once more. Once he saw what happened, he held Cass, offering to care for her and protect her. Her parents had trusted him, after all. She agreed, knowing her parents never spoke to those outside of the forest. Tomlison convinced her that her parents wouldn’t want to be buried away from their forest, so they had a small funeral and buried Alex and Maureen deep in the forest, using fancy rocks to mark their graves.
Cass stayed with the man, Tomlison Southwark, who offered to adopt her. Cass, however, wanted to keep her name and her family, so she denied. This seemed to annoy Tomlisson, for some reason.
When she was about ten, Tomlison took her outside, under the moon, and bit into her neck. She’d never really questioned where he always wandered off to before, but it made a heck of a lot of sense now. He was a vampire!
Despite not wanting to be anywhere near the man, Cass also knew that she didn’t have anywhere else to go. She relented, letting the man show her the stars and other weird old-guy activities. Every day, she remembered that eventually she’d get to go to Hogwarts and escape, but it seemed forever away.
One afternoon while she was awake (despite Tomlison’s wishes), she noticed some papers in the still smoldering fireplace. Using the kitchen tongs, Cass grabbed them, seeing the Hogwarts crest and some writing. Wait. Was this her Hogwarts letter? Was she finally going to be free?
Cass spent the summer plotting, though she still pretended to be feeble and soft so she wouldn’t get in trouble. Toward the end of August, Cass waited until noon, grabbed Tomlisson’s wand, packed all her clothes in an old trunk, stole some money, and ran for the trees. Once she was far enough away, Cass found a path to the road her parents used to use when they’d go into town. Once at the road, she summoned the Knight Bus, begging to go to Diagon Alley.
When she made it to Diagon Alley, she went shop to shop, using their knowledge of previous first years to get her full list. As long as she was in the daylight, she figured she was pretty safe.
As she wandered, carrying all her stuff, a nice shopkeep noticed her, asking if she was okay and if her parents were nearby. She lied, saying yes, to avoid trouble. Luckily for her, he didn’t believe it, and in fact seemed to know she needed help. He brought her into his shop (it was full of owls!) and offered hot tea while he called someone. A man in a nice suit came to talk to her in Milo the Owl Shop Owner’s office, where she did her best to explain what had happened.

Cass found her people in the Astronomy Club. It's also where she met her sort-of-sister, Callie. As school progressed, Cass enjoyed spending time exploring the castle. She did well in her classes and had fun in a variety of clubs. After meeting Callie, who had been in her situation, Callie introduced her to her mom, Professor Whitethorne. Cass was confused, since she wouldn't be in that class for a few years, but it turned out to be a blessing. The next summer, she was formally adopted by the Whitethorne family as well.

Between spending time with her new (huge) family and learning all about the magical world, Cass was pretty busy. But she felt love and was just so happy with everything.

◊ STUBBORN Sierra is of the opinion that if she works hard enough at something it will in fact work out. Whether or not it will be in her favor is besides the point. You know that whole thing about equal force and momentum? She’s both.
◊ PATIENT Coinciding with her stubborn nature, patience is always needed. She’s understanding that sometimes things take time so while she’s chipping away, she’s aware that each chip is just one more step towards progress.
◊ SHY Sierra is not really the forward type; she likes people don’t get her wrong but the bullying she endured in primary has made her wary of putting herself out there. She won’t reject friendships when they happen but it takes her a while to open up.
◊ IDEALISTIC Sierra has dreams and ideas that she can’t wait to make realities and-if she trusts you-she’ll be sure to tell you all about them. Her ideas can be fantastical to some but to her they’re just the tip of the iceberg.
◊ SELF CONSCIOUS Because of her hearing loss, it took her a bit longer to start talking than her peers and her words can sometimes take on a slurring or lisping nature if she gets too excited. This resulted in teasing and even a few bouts of bullying which caused her to ultimately limit how often she speaks.
◊ PERCEPTIVE Sierra’s pretty good at reading a room and could tell you who what when where and plausibly why if she’s been there long enough. It also helps that she’ll often take out her hearing aid due to discomfort so she’s practiced to be more self aware of her surroundings.

CHILDHOOD Sierra was born to her parents Mira and Timothy Whitethorne, a potioneer and a cursebreaker respectively. When she was a little over a year old, her parents discovered that was having hearing problems and took her to the healer where they found otitis media with effusion, essentially a build up of fluid in her ears. This usually wouldn’t be a problem as they don’t often lead to infections but unfortunately, the fluid never drained and continued to build up and at certain times popped. These chronic effusions caused diminished hearing in her left ear before ultimately getting them under control. By the time Sierra got to primary, she was the owner of a shiny new hearing aide and vocal exercises. Due to her rather unfortunate health, she was a bit behind in speech and gained (to her) some embarrassing patterns which lead to some bullying. It didn’t go far beyond name calling and malicious teasing but it ultimately left her feeling self conscious about her speech and would usually choose to just not talk if the option was available. She’s very excited to finally be going to Hogwarts since hearing virtually every adult in her life talk about it but she’s also hoping to be able to find a place to fit in.

SCHOOL YEARS

◊ FIRST YEAR Sierra actually had a pretty good first year despite being away from her family for the first time in ever. She didn't really make any "friend" friends but she'd met allot of new people and no one was overtly weirded out by her so. Progress?
◊ SECOND YEAR Was just as good if not better. Sierra was pretty much being pried from her shell by her many acquaintances in the newspaper club as well as in Hufflepuff. She couldn't say she had a definitive "best friend" but she had plenty she could at least say she was friendly with. At the end of the year she was surprised with the offer of Editor for the Daily Dragon and she just barely managed to keep her maniacal glee off her face.
