Second chances are great. Second chances can be regretful. Even so, everyone deserves one. Especially when someone tries so hard to earn it. But taking it away a second chance from someone before they could try to earn it is just plain cruel. It can really hurt the person to the point of hatred, the point of rage, the point of absolute distrust.
Our story is about a girl who had just went through a break up with a guy she had fallen deeply in love with. They were going to stay friends, of course, because they were best friends even before their relationship. The guy had said maybe one day the two could try again and the girl was happy for that; all she had to do was become the person she wanted to be. But even before she barely started becoming a better person, he turned around and said...
"I ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀɴʏᴍᴏʀᴇ."
He told her that they could not try again and that they should just stay friends. The girl did not like the fact he took her shot at a second chance away. She cut off all communication with him and dived into her music. She wrote angry song, depressing songs, songs for any and all the emotions she could feel. Not just because of him, but because of her family, her past, her bullies, everything that had given her grief and made her into what had caused him to break up with her.
Now, six months later, she has made a new band called Fᴏʀᴇsᴀᴋᴇɴ Hᴇᴀʀᴛs and plays all her songs at local gigs with her band.
What happens when he is at one of those gigs and sees her again? Does he try to make her understand his decision? Or will he just leave her alone?
