IN THE BEGINNING, THERE WAS SAKUCHWAN!!! SakuChwan, who created the guild, making for his people a place of dwelling. SakuChwan divided the poor and the rich, the beggers and the questers. To his new people he gave his edict: "Be fruitful, and make much goldz". And SakuChwan looked upon his works, and he saw that they were good. And he looked upon his new people, and he saw that they, too were good... well, as good as they were going to get, anyway.
But as his people grew in number, SakuChwan saw the beginnings of strife amongst his people and the potential undoing of his great works. And so SakuChwan created a race of beings known as "mods". Gave he unto them a portion of his power, that his will might be kept at all times and the guild safe-guarded from it's own n00b children.
