_____Supreme Judges are the Vice Captains of the guild. They reserve the right to reopen any cases, as long as justification can be put forth to the Court as to why such action is necessary. They are also the ones who may overturn a verdict if the appeal procedures are observed by the defendant of a case. Can act as a Judge if prior consent is given by a third party Member of the guild in the case of a Judge being able to participate in the trial. In such an occurrence if the Judge is to return the Supreme Judge must step down immediately from the case, and surrender all information received to the Judge on duty.

|______| {Name of Accuser // Your Username} || {Date}
in the subject.
• In the thread you will place the below code.

  • Be Polite → The Judges are volunteers. This Court is a privilege, and thus it can be denied to you if you are too rude.
  • Be Respectful → If a decision is made then that is it. They have the final say. If you insult a Judge for their decision, your right to the Court will be revoked, and you may well be banned by a Supreme Court Judge.
  • Be Truthful → After you give us your information with the above format, the Judges will be investigating your claims. So remember to be truthful, because if you are found to by lying your case is dismissed.
  • Anyone Can Be Called → Anyone can be called before the court, even the Captain of the Guild, Lanfaer! The Judges may also be called upon if their actions are brought before the court. In such events, YOU, the accuser, may choose someone else (anyone in the guild) to take that Judges place.
  • Be Not Afraid → Don't feel bad about calling someone down on being a God-modder or a Metaplayer. We want to know if you are having an issue with someone, even if its simply because they are being rude to you. Don't feel afraid to saying anything about anyone. If they are being bad, they deserve to be tried.

_____There are three Judges, and only three at any time, though members of the Judges are changed out for new members weekly. Picks for Judges are done at random, and those picked reserve the right to decline the duties as they see fit. The Judge's job is to hear the case, investigate the case, and judge the case. There are rules, however, that all Judges must follow. Judges who fail to abide by the below rules and regulations will be immediately abdicated of their post, and, depending on the severity of the crime, maybe be pulled before a Supreme Court that could result in punishments such as, but are not limited to, character death, restrictions, and/or bannings.

[ T e r m s ]

  • Be Respectful :→: All Judges are required to maintain proper decorum and attitude during trials.
  • The Rule of Three :→: All three Judges must participate in every case, for only then is it truly fair. Judgment and punishment is rendered when a majority vote is made.
  • Be Impartial :→: A Judge cannot have a predisposition with the parties involved in the case. If the Judge finds themselves unable to be impartial they must report such a case to the active Crew Assistant assigned for the week and step back from the case. This is to ensure optimal fairness during the trial.
  • Be Just :→: The steps to performing a trial are easy, but important.
First, the Judge must post in the thread for the trial with the proper code, written below.
From there, the Judge must follow up on all evidence given, as well as do investigation from all angles of the case. All relevant information must be considered.
Next, the Judge must, in the thread, dictate their judgment of the case. As mentioned above, all three Judges must post their decisions before the final verdict is rendered. A two-thirds [2/3] vote must be attained in regards to verdict and punishment.
Utilizing the proper code below, Private Message [PM] the current Crew Assistant to have them add the aforementioned code into one final post, which closes the case.
►► Make sure to record in the case's thread every PM that might have been utilized during the investigation. If this information has been excluded, the case may be Appealed.
  • Time is of the Essence :→: Judgments should take no longer than three [3] days. If the judgment process takes longer than this, the Judges may request additional aid from the active Crew Assistant. If the trial takes longer than one [1] week, the case is to be taken before the Supreme Court.
  • Stay Thy Hand :→: Judges do not have the power, by themselves, to ban another member for any infraction. However, if the Judges believe that banning is deserved, they are to make the case a "Sticky", and inform the Supreme Judges of their decision. The Supreme Judges may then, with majority consensus, confirm or deny the Banning.
  • Ask, and Thou Shalt Receive :→: If aid is ever needed in regards to, but in no way limited to, investigative methods, proper procedure, or any personal concerns regarding the other Judges or Court Procedure, the Judge may contact the active Crew Assistant for such matters. At no time should a Supreme Judge, or any other member of the Moderator Team, be contacted about the case unless they are directly involved with the case, or an extreme situation has arisen in which the Moderator Team must, under no other circumstances, be contacted. This can include, but is not limited do, threats of a physical or psychological nature due to the Judging of the case, cases of Bribery, Blackmail, or Extortion, or the belief that a member of the Judges has broken one of the above regulations.
