╔════════════════════╗ Philip Quimby-Winthrop Eight Years Old - Wizard - Adopted ╚════════════════════╝
The weather, lately, had been cold and rainy. Today, however, was gorgeous. The sun was shining and it was finally warm enough to play outside without a sweater. Knowing this weather wouldn’t stick around long before the spring rainfall began again, Philip decided to take advantage of it. So, he grabbed his scooter and rolled down to the park, only stopping to pet passing dogs along the way. His mum hated when he went skating or biking (or scootering) without a helmet, but wearing one overtop his hat was just uncomfortable. Besides, he was careful. And what she didn’t know couldn’t hurt her. It wasn’t like he was riding a horse without one – that, he wasn’t dumb enough to do. Horses were unpredictable and uncontrollable if they got scared.
Upon arriving at the park, Philip scootered around until he grew bored of doing the same activity over and over again. Taking a break, the boy left his scooter on the side of the playground and climbed to the top of the jungle gym. From there, he had a pretty high viewpoint of the entire area. Watching the scene in front of him, he noticed a jogger, a dog walker with a small, yappy dog, a mother playing with her toddler, and a girl swinging. Phil typically didn’t play with girls, but unfortunately, there was nobody else around his age at the park today. So, he climbed down from the playground, plopped into the swing next to the blonde, and began pumping his legs, causing him to swing back and forth.

╔══════════════════════════════════╗ Rosabella Winthrop Gryffindor Alumna - Twenty Five - Muggleborn - Seer - Welcome Witch - St. Mungo's ╚══════════════════════════════════╝
Some nights, sleeping was easy. She’d close her eyes and pass out, waking up hours later full of energy and ready to start the day. Other nights, she’d find herself tossing and turning, trying to fall asleep. Tonight was one of the latter nights. So, instead of staring up at the ceiling, feeling anxious about getting some rest, Bella changed into her work out clothes and grabbed a yoga mat. Although she was quiet and was sure she wouldn’t wake Dani up, the seer decided to head outside in the woods to do some yoga. She wasn’t dumb – she never went too far from her house and she always made sure not to be out in the forest on a full moon. Muggles don’t believe in the fairy tale crap about scary monsters being real and out and about at night, and if Bella didn’t grow up in a magical household and go to Hogwarts, maybe she wouldn’t have believed it either – but werewolves were very much real and incredibly dangerous to be around on a full moon. Other night dwelling creatures may be out at night, but Bella didn’t think it wasn’t anything she couldn’t handle, especially with her home being a mere thirty feet away. Perhaps, she had gotten cocky. The witch exercised outside at night often, especially in the summer, and the worst thing she’d encountered thus far was a bear. So, she stretched out her mat and began her stretches, as per usual.

╔══════════════════════════════════╗ Rosabella Winthrop Gryffindor Alumna - Twenty Five - Muggleborn - Seer - Welcome Witch - St. Mungo's ╚══════════════════════════════════╝
Rosabella heard the rustle of bushes and braced herself, grabbing her wand. The noise sounded too loud to only be an owl or squirrel. “Lumos,” she whispered, lighting up the area. Unfortunately, Bella didn’t even think there’d be a person on the other end, watching as a light lit up from a magic stick. Horror struck her face when she’d realized it was a woman – more than likely a muggle. She supposed she could say it was a toy and the only thing it did was light up, which is why she took it into the woods, or she could always obliviate her if that didn’t work. But, then she wondered why a muggle had been walking through the woods this late alone. “What are you doing here?” she asked. “Don’t you know how dangerous the forest can be at night?” Rosabella picked up her water bottle and took a sip from it, waiting for the blonde to answer her. Was she drunk, just trying to get home? At least that way, she wouldn’t even remember seeing Bella’s wand. Or if she did, no one would believe her. She sure as hell wasn’t dressed as though she was coming from a party, but then again, what did Bella know? If Dani let her dress in sportswear and a hoodie to parties, she would.

Rosabella was caught off guard when the woman told her to be careful where she pointed that thing, meaning she knew it was a wand? Judging by her reaction, it hadn’t been the first time she’d been exposed to them. “Sorry, just needed some light,” she said, lowering her wand to point towards the ground. Bella rolled her eyes when the blonde said she could ask her the same. “I asked first,” she stated, crossing her arms as she waited for a response. When she gave it, the witch thought about her answer. “If you must know, we’re in the same boat. Couldn’t sleep, decided to do some yoga instead.” The brunette shrugged and added, “It helps sometimes.” A moment of silence went by before Rosabella asked, “D’you at least bring your wand with you on your nightly walks through the woods, if you even have one?” If she read the situation completely incorrectly, she’d be ready to obliviate the blonde any second. However, based on the woman’s initial reaction, she highly doubted she did.

╔══════════════════════╗ Philip Quimby-Winthrop Ten Years Old - Future Hogwarts Student - Adopted ╚══════════════════════╝
Philip had made plans to hang out with Chelsea, and they were meeting at the abandoned tree house. That was basically their meeting headquarters. Although it was really cold out, he didn’t want to invite her over because parents would be around – unless they hung out in his room, but that was small and crammed. So, the tree house it was. Besides, it wasn’t raining (surprisingly), so he figured they might as well make the most of this weather. Furthermore, this was the last November he’d get to spend at this park since he’d be going off to Hogwarts next year, which Chels had known nothing about.
The boy supposed he should at least tell her he was going away for school next year, even if he didn’t tell her what school. He didn’t want to be another one of her friends who had suddenly deserted her. Plus, it wasn’t like he’d be gone forever. Phil would be back for winter and summer break, so they’d still be able to maintain a friendship. Unfortunately, he didn’t think they could send each other letters since Chelsea and her family would probably be a little freaked out if an owl showed up to their window, carrying mail for his friend. Upon arriving to their usual meeting spot, Philip noticed the girl sitting next to a tree as opposed to in the tree house. “You too lazy to climb?” he called to her, making his way around the trees before noticing that she’d been reading something. Curious, he asked, “Whatcha got there?”

╔═════════════════════════════╗ Philip Quimby-Winthrop Thirteen Years Old - Third Year - Hufflepuff - Reserve Beater - Adopted ╚═════════════════════════════╝
The last year of school was weird, and Philip knew why. It turned out that Chelsea’s long lost friend Griffin was the same Griffin who was a student at Hogwarts in the Hufflepuff’s year. Even odder than that, though, was that Chelsea had clearly been avoiding her old friend, which sucked because Phil was friends with both of the Gryffindor students. In a perfect world, he supposed Chels and Griffin would have reconnected and become friends once again – creating a trio that always stuck together. Honestly, Philip didn’t understand why that didn’t happen. Instead, he would either be hanging with one friend or the other, and on the uncommon occasion where he’d be spending time with both, Chelsea tended to call it quits very early.
Today’s feeling was different, however. For the first time this year, Philip was going to hang out with Chelsea without inviting Griffin to join and he wouldn’t feel guilty or paranoid that his friend would find them hanging out together. The Hufflepuff knew that he didn’t really have anything to do with their relationship and that he shouldn’t actually feel bad about the current situation, but he couldn’t help it. He so badly wanted them to be friends. Climbing up the ladder, he wasn’t surprised to see Chelsea already sitting in the tree house. In fact, it was pretty even when it came to who beat who there. “Everything okay?” he asked upon seeing her puzzled facial expression.
