Strolling through the city with Verily's hand in his, Erik felt whole again. He didn't know he'd been missing the feeling on her hand in his, of her lips against him... He'd been trying to forget. But now, he didn't want to forget. And he knew she didn't either. They were passing the London Loibrary, and Erik stopped. "You want to pop in here for a little bit?" he asked with a smirk.

Ver couldn't wipe the soft smile off her face the entire time they were walking hand in hand. She was sure they looked like one of those love sick puppy dog couples to everyone else, but for once she didn't care if people were staring at her or judging her. She giggled at his suggestion and looked up at him. "How very Ravenclawy of you." She said giggling and lifting their intertwined fingers to kiss the back of his hand. "Let's go." She said, walking towards the library and entering.

Erik smirked when she said that it was very Ravenclawy of him. Chuckling, he walked through the door that Verily had opened and held it open for her. "Well, it's also getting a bit nippy out," he said, indicating his still missing shirt. "Speaking of which," he added and pulled the shirt from his pocket. It was dry... but it smelled of coco. "Oh well. Right babe?"

Ver giggled and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly and then backing away wrinkling her nose. "You enjoying smelling chocolaty?" She asked, smirking at him. She slid closer again and leaned up on tip toes to kiss him gently. She pulled away from his lips but stayed near him, her nose still wrinkled. He smelled really really sweet.

He wrinkled his nose in response to her question. "Not particularly, but short of going home or buying a new shirt, I don't really have a choice." He shrugged but kissed her anyway. "Unless you want to go shopping... We can just relax here for a little while. Maybe find some interesting books. I wonder if they have any actual magic books here. Wanna check that out?" Erik knew that most Muggle magic books were fake and this could be a fun adventure.

Ver smiled at his response. "It's not thaaaaat bad....." She said, trying to sound convincing and nodded her head seriously. She smiled, glancing around the library excitedly. She loved books way more than she ever let on. "Let's go look for books!" She practically squeeed in excitement, squeezing his hand, and looking all around. She had no idea where to even start looking.

Her excitement gave him smiles all over and he excitedly headed into the library with her. "Muggle libraries used to have a card system but in the information age, they use computers. Do you have any experience with a computer?" Then a thought occurred to him. "We could always use magic to find the section."

Ver blinked her eyes up at him when he mentioned computers. She knew what they were, but how to use them was totally lost on her. She rolled her eyes at him when he suggested using magic though. "I'd rather not be kicked out of school just to try and find a section in a library." She said, kissing his cheek gently. She glanced around the library again and shrugged. "You know... we could always just ask someone who works here." She suggested, looking up at him. She made no move to go talk to anyone though, her social anxiety kicking in at the idea.

Erik quirked an eyebrow at her and chuckled. "Sure, two teenagers asking about magic books late at night. Not creepy at all. I'll give the computer a try." He walked over to the bank of computers and touched a button. The screen lit up. "So far so good." Reading the screen, he touched the screen in the search bar and typed in 'magic'. A list of titles and numbers appeared. "Hey, I recognize this. My mum told us about Muggle libraries once and how the catalog books. I think I can find this section."

Ver rolled her eyes at him again and followed him quietly to the computer. She stared at it in utter confusion, but Erik seemed to know what he was doing. She waited quietly and nodded when he said he could find the section. "Lead the way then love." She said, holding out her hands, and motioning for him to lead her to the section of the library.

A light pink rose to his cheeks when she called him 'love' like she wasn't still dating Darius. While they had confessed their feelings for each other, she was still with the other boy and they hadn't become official. He smiled and nodded. "Er... follow me then," he said and squeezed her hand lightly, heading into the stacks of books.

Ver followed behind him quietly. She was pretty sure she'd caught him off guard by calling him love. She thought it was kind of cute how he blushed and got all awkward. Giggling quietly she squeezed his hand and turned her attention to the books all around them, scanning titles quickly as they passed by.

He scanned the little numbers at the top of the stacks, then led Verily in the direction of the section of the magic books. "I think it's this way," he said, a bit unsure. Erik glanced at Verily and smiled. "We're almost there... I think."

Verily continued to read the titles of books as they passed by them. She blinked and pulled him to a stop as she read the title of one of the books over again. "The Ritual Magic Manual: A Complete Course in Practical Magic...." She blinked and laughed. "I think we're here." She said, untangling her fingers from his so she could lift the book from the shelf and open it to a random page.
