Shadowing Stealth Rank: E | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: This spell allows the user to follow their targets covertly. Using this spell makes it more difficult for those of the user’s rank or lower to find the user while he or she is hiding. Effectively makes the user less conspicuous, less noticeable, and allows them to blend in with the crowd for three [3] posts per use. Useful when tailing someone. The spell is broken if the user does something to make themselves stand out.
Flash Bomb Rank: E | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: The user throws a ball of mana in front of them that explodes in a burst of light, blinding anyone caught in it for one [1] post.
Illusion Clone Rank: E | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: The most basic form of clone, this spell creates an intangible copy of the user, unable to physically interact with the world. Since the clone itself doesn't have the ability to attack, it is mainly used as a distraction. The clones will dissipate when they come into contact with most anything else. They are easy to distinguish by those able to see mana, although others can also identify them by their lack of a shadow or the reactions of the world around them (i.e. they don't kick up dust or leaves, or disturb grass). These clones are mindless and can only follow tasks given upon creation. Five [5] mana can create up to three [3] clones.
Shapeshift Rank: E | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: Shapeshift allows the user to transform themselves into any person or object that is relatively the same size as them. In addition to being able to transform normally, the user can also employ this spell to transform objects in the environment.
Quick Escape Rank: E | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: Quick Escape is a very basic spell that allows the user to escape from rope binds. It allows the user to escape from being tied up, or otherwise trapped, as long as doing so is possible without requiring significant altering of the human body to escape and as long as movement is still possible. Using mana, ropes and other ties can be nudged in ways to loosen them and allow eventual escape. Takes two [2] activations to get through one tie.
Substitution Rank: E | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: When in danger the user will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the user to quickly flee and hide while the object takes the brunt of their opponent's attack. Substitution can only be performed four [4] times per battle and you must be near an object roughly the same size as your character. Other roleplayers' characters (unless willing) cannot be used as a substitute. Spawning random, faceless characters to use as substitutes is not permitted. All physical clones may be used in Substitution.
Barrier Shatter Rank: E | Strength: Variable | Speed: -- Description: This spell is used to shatter visible or found barriers by borrowing mana from allies. Only affects barriers made and sustained with mana. Once used, the user's mana passes through all nearby and willing allies, gathering strength. Gains an extra rank of mana and power for every extra ally that it passes through before returning to the user. Shattering occurs at a higher level than the barrier's own, and also causes the source to be unable to create another for one [1] of their posts.
Succubus Rank: E | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: This spell is a variation of the Shapeshift spell. The user changes their form into that of a nude, sexually appealing young woman or man. This spell is normally used to titillate and knock unconscious perverted adults. Transforms the user in to a person who he or she believes is sexy, usually nude. Is super-effective against perverts.
Feigning Sleep Rank: E | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: Feigning Sleep is a spell that puts someone to sleep. It can only be used on self or willing targets. Allows for the affected to be put instantly to sleep, thus gaining any regeneration benefits associated with sleep. A firm shake is enough to wake them, or they will wake up naturally after a full sleep cycle, approximately three [3] hours.
String Reeling Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: -- Description: This spell increases the strength of a wire or rope being used, allowing it to support greater weights or take more pressure before breaking. The wire or rope is infused with mana, and a spell or attack of equal rank or higher must be used to break it. If the user is in contact with the wire, they can pay an upkeep cost of half the original rank, to a minimum of five [5] chakra to maintain it past the first post. Without physical contact, the spell ends after three [3] posts.
Roof Tile Shuriken Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: Variable Description: The user uses their mana to levitate nearby roof tiles, or similarly sized objects. Once levitated, the tiles are hurled towards the target similar to a shuriken. The amount of mana determines how fast and hard the tiles are thrown. Can levitate up to five [5] tiles per use.
Toothpick Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: Variable Description: Similar to a senbon, the user can spit a toothpick, or similarly sized object, at their opponents to injure them. They can also spit it at incoming projectiles to knock them away. Useful in combination will other nail/senbon/needle spells and attacks. The amount of mana determines how fast and hard the object are thrown. Can fire up to five [5] needle-like projectiles per use.

Float Rank: D | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: Lifts the user into the air. This is not flight, and characters can only move about 5-6 meters per post in any direction with it. While floating, they receive a half [.5] rank decrease to physical speed. Can be maintained for half the original cost per post after the initial post.
Insulating Lens Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: -- Description: By drawing on the Medium’s spiritual ally, they create a protective ward around themselves, protecting them from physical damage up to the rank used. Attacks that hit it subtract from the total protection (e.g. A C-rank [20 stamina] attack used against a B-rank [40 mana] Insulating Lens leaves C-rank [20 mana] defense). Lasts until destroyed. Requires drawing a magic circle.
Human Cocoon Rank: D | Strength: C | Speed: -- Description: The user creates a cocoon of hardened mana around themselves, most likely to spy or hide from the enemy. The user can also use the cocoon as a "sleeping bag". The cocoon is waterproof.
Shadow Shuriken Rank: D | Strength: -- | Speed: Variable Description: When throwing a projectile, the user will also throw a second projectile to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary projectile can then approach the target without their being aware. Mana hides the second projectile in the shadow of the first. This can be used with up to three [3] projectiles in one activation, or one [1] large projectile. This spell takes on the physical speed of the thrown object.
Temporary Body Paralysis Rank: D | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: Temporary Body Paralysis is used to temporarily bind an individual or animal. With the person frozen in place, the user can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. Lasts until the end of the target’s first following post. Requires physical contact to activate.
Spiderweb Rank: D | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: This spell is simply the manipulation of web by the summoner or summoned spiders. When used by spiders the web emitted hardens into spikes. The summoner can also emit web from their mouths and manipulate it into such things as a net to trap opponents. The user controls the web cords as one would with rope usage. Requires a spider companion or summon, or some method of creating web, in order to use.
Haze Clone Rank: D | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: Haze Clone is a spell that creates approximately one hundred [100] illusory clones of a person or group of persons. Due to the number of clones created, the user can take the opportunity to hide from their target. To attack their target they will hide in the shadows of the clones and attack from underground. The clones cannot use spells, and have no combat capabilities.
Succbus & Incubus Rank: Augment [learned as D] | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: After learning a Clone spell that creates a solid clone, the user transforms into two naked people, usually in some sort of sexual-seeming situation. Is super-effective against perverts. Requires knowing Succubus and some form of solid clone (such as Shadow Clone). This is an upgrade of Succubus but takes up its own slot, or the same slot as other Succubus augments. Has no real combat value but can certainly throw someone off.
Four-Legged Beast Rank: D | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: After forming the needed hand seals, mana begins to emit from the body of the user and they take on a more animal-like appearance, based on an animal of their choice. These body changes increase either their physical strength or physical speed, based on the animal chose, by a half [.5] rank, and gives them a D-rank proficiency temporarily with the natural weapons of said animal. Lasts for five [5] posts.
Body Flicker Rank: D | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: The user will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the user will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. As such, an 'air' or 'feeling' will pervade the area before usage. Maximum distance of one [1] mile. Further mileage requires one [1] D-ranked cost additional per mile beyond the first. Body Flicker in any form can only be used three [3] times per battle.
Long Strangling Hairs Rank: D | Strength: D | Speed: D Description: The user controls their hair to strangle their opponent The user manipulates his or her hair and strengthens it with Chakra. The hairs can then extend, and wrap and tighten around a target.
Mana Absorption Rank: X | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: After activating the spell, the user's hand will glow with mana. When the user touches their palm to their opponent’s body, they can withdraw the physical and spiritual energy out of them. By reducing their mana, it greatly increases the user's advantage over their opponent. Requires physical contact with the victim.
Falling Blossoms and Scattering Leaves Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: Variable Description: After launching flowers into the air, the user will turn them into projectiles of choice which they can launch at their opponent. Must have actual flowers in the environment. Rank determines the number of projectiles created, as well as how fast and hard they're thrown. Creates five [5] projectiles per rank. Projectiles dissipate on contact.
Release Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: Variable Description: Release is that is typically used to break the effects of mana on other people, similar to the natural ability of Self-Release, particularly Illusions. With a physical touch and a small burst of mana into the afflicted, they are released from the effect. Release essentially halts, for a brief moment, mana running through the body, cancelling out foreign mana within. As such, the technique can also be used to break techniques affecting the mana directly, such as buffs and debuffs, and temporary physical alterations, such as mana-based paralysis. Requires expending the same amount of mana the caster of the spell used in order to break the technique. Does not affect afflictions given by stamina-based abilities.
Act of Tree Climbing Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: Variable Description: The Act of Tree Climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in training this helps a person learn how to focus their mana. It also teaches the pupil how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the pupil learn how to focus just the right amount of mana to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master mana focusing. Requires an E-rank upkeep cost per post of use. From there, the user can utilize the spell to effectively anchor themselves to a surface to prevent losing footing and falling, for an amount of mana equivalent to the attack they are anchoring themselves from. • Does not take up space on the profile, but must have listed.
Act of Water Walking Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: A variation on Act of Tree Climbing, the Act of Water Walking allows the user to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of mana out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water. Requires an E-rank upkeep cost per post of use. Performance: Second Step Rank: Augment [learned as C] | Strength: C | Speed: C Description: The user spins around at high-speeds, appearing like a small twister. While doing so, the user will launch a large barrage of projectiles of choice to several targets at once. Requires knowing Deep Crimson Dance. This is an upgrade of Deep Crimson Dance and takes the same slot as the C-rank version once learned. Either version can be used for the appropriate version's cost. Must be used immediately after Nadeshiko-Ryū Shinku Enbu to retain its effects.
Toad Oil Projectile Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C Description: After gathering oil in their mouth, the user can spit the oil at their opponent. The consistency of the oil can then hinder the movement of some materials, such as paper. Oil is extremely flammable and cannot be put out with water.
Silence Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: This spell when used causes the opponent to become mute until the technique is dispelled. As such, they will not be able to speak or cast spells that require voice. The user will ask the target a question. If the opponent answers, the technique is then immediately invoked causing the person to lose the use of their voice. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to continue after the first post. The victim regains their voice once the spell is released.
Sprinkling Needles Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C Description: After hurling an item into the air, the user will unleash a torrent of needles. Using their mana they can guide these needles towards their opponent. Needles must be thrown in some fashion, via an item or by hand, to activate. Controls up to 100 needles for up to three [3] posts. Needles must be moved as a group and cannot be controlled independently. The total strength, regardless of the number of needles is C-rank.
Frog Conversion Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: The user will touch the forehead of his target, turning them into a frog temporarily. This spell is useful as a means to scare another into talking. The transformation can be ended by a Release directed at the transformed person, or automatically after three [3] posts. The victim retains self-awareness and can move around freely unless otherwise restrained. They cannot use spells, however.
Crow Clone Technique Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: This spell allows the user to create a physical clone composed of crows. The clone can disperse into multiple crows, which still maintain the user's consciousness. This allows them to speak and react while in crow form.
Astral Projection Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: A spell that is used to send an astral projection of the user to another place they have been to before, the astral projection cannot physically interact with their surroundings, but can see and hear anything going on. However, the user loses awareness of their physical surroundings while using this spell. Often used as a form of communication. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to continue after the first post.
Vibrating Sound Drill Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C Description: This is a spell which uses sound waves to disrupt a person’s inner ear. The user can use their mana to move the waves created by an item (such as an instrument) directly into the inner ear of their opponent. By disrupting the inner ear in this manner, the target loses their sense of balance and becomes nauseous. Can be avoided by plugging the ears. The effect remains as long as the sound continues, and lasts for two [2] posts following. Can be maintained for an upkeep of half the original cost.
Magic Circle Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: Summons a circle of mana five meters wide around the user for five [5] posts. This circle increases the strength of their mana-based attacks by a half [.5] rank and increases their elemental defense against all elements, except void, by a half [.5] rank for the duration so long as they remain within the circle. Allies who step within also benefit.
Conch Whip Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C Description: After the user performs the necessary hand seals, this spell creates a long strand out of the user’s mana and allows him or her to control it freely to use like a whip. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to maintain after the first post.
Deep Crimson Dance Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: B Description: The user launches a large barrage of projectiles of choice with deadly accuracy. The mana is used to both increase the accuracy to 100% if the target is stationary and make the projectiles faster. Speed of technique is considered one [1] rank higher, although Strength remains the same.
Scattering One Thousand Crows Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: The user will call upon a murder of crows. These crows will fly around the target, causing confusion with their dark forms and quick movement. A comrade can move within the flock wearing dark clothes and wielding a dark weapon almost undetected. Also the mass of crows can obscure anyone retreating. When no longer needed, the murder of crows will simply puff away in smoke. For an upkeep of half the original cost, the spell can be continued past the first post.
Manipulate Advancing Blades Rank: C | Strength: C | Speed: C Description: This spell allows the user to hover multiple multiple projectiles or a single weapon in the air while they approach a target. It does not allow the fine manipulation to attack with the weapon, but can free a hand or move in simple directions. Can manipulate up to ten [10] projectiles at once, or one [1] weapon. Projectiles cannot be manipulated individually. For an upkeep of half the original cost, the spell can be continued past the first post.
Heavenly Transmission Rank: C | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: This spell was originally designed to teleport inanimate objects across far distances at the speed of light. The user needs time to prepare the spell and the coordinates of the location which will receive the object. Upon selecting the object or objects they wishes to transfer, the user will form the needed hand seal, causing the object to disappear in a bolt to land at the designated area. It is possible to send living objects through the spell, however the extreme speed involved rips the entity to shreds. The spell takes one [1] full post of prior concentration to perform, during which physical contact must be maintained, and each object/entity sent--regardless of size--takes a C-ranked amount of chakra from the user. The user must know the exact location that the object/entity is being sent to. Living entities sent long-distance (outside of the thread) take and extra post of concentration [2 total], but the victim takes damage as if an S-ranked attack hit them, shredding them.
Pattern Links Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: Variable Description: The user uses wire to form complex string figure designs with his hands. The wire itself is said to be stronger than steel. The figure the user creates can then be launched from the string as a powerful cutting attack. Each rank increases the distance traveled by three [3] meters and width of the technique by five [5] feet.
Mind Reading Rank: X | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: Mind Reading is a technique that allows the user to read another's mind. The user can delve into the mind of their target through eye contact without them noticing. This can also be used on a target that is currently reading the user's mind. The user is even able to perform this on themselves to restore or remove information in their own mind, or to identify if someone is telling the truth. Duration is ten [10] posts, but can be ended prematurely by the user. Rank is determined by the rank of the person the technique is used on.
Hidden Needles Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: Variable Description: The user is able to call forth needles made of mana into their mouth and then spit them at their opponent with great accuracy. Rank determines how many needles are fired, as well as the strength and speed of the attack. Fires up to five [5] needles or other small objects that fit in the mouth per rank.
Torpedo Needle Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: Variable Description: Removing projectiles from their pocket, the user will throw them into the air, at which point they plant themselves tip first into the earth. Using mana, the projectiles will travel into the ground. Then at the user's discretion, they can fire the projectiles from the ground through the feet of their target to nail them in place. They can then fire the remaining projectiles from the ground to cut their target to pieces. Rank determines the speed and strength, as well as how many projectiles can be controlled, up to five [5] per rank. Projectiles cannot be individually controlled.
Diamond-Like Hardness Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: -- Description: The user can transform their body into a diamond-hard staff, or an object of similar size to the user. Limited to objects of similar size to the user. Rank determines the durability of the technique. Attacks of one rank higher can break the technique, and it requires an upkeep of half the original cost to maintain the form. Form can be manipulated at will once transformed.
Many Flowers in Bloom Rank: X | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: The user will release a multitude of mana-infused flower petals from their sleeve which will flow through the air and circle their opponent. This mana acts to warp the victim's vision, making the user seem to meld with the flowers. This allows for the chance to launch surprise attacks while obscured by the petals themselves, or even to escape. Effects last for three [3] of the victim's posts. Requires a source of petals. Rank determines the area of effect, increasing the area by a three [3] meter radius per rank.
One Hundred Blossoming Flowers Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: The user throws a multitude of mana-infused petals into the air, that will turn into explosive bombs which can rain down on their target. Requires a source of petals. Rank determines number of bombs, starting at five [5] and doubling with each rank.
Mesh Cage Rank: X | Strength: Variable | Speed: -- Description: The user can manipulate wire into an interlocking dome for protection. This dome can repel most physical attacks. The user can reshape the wire within the dome as needed, changing it from a defensive structure to a binding string with ease. Requires at minimum fifteen [15] meters of wire. Rank determines the strength of the technique. Takes a hit of one rank higher to break wire. Not limited to the shape of a cage.
Mimic Rank: X | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: This spell allows the user to take on the body of their target. They must remain close to the one they want to copy for a short period of time. Their body will then shape and contort to resemble the target. The copy is said to be so good that even family members of the target cannot tell they are a fake. The user will even take on the smell of the original. Unfortunately the user does not copy the target's spells and abilities, leaving them with only their original limited skills, nor do they take on their targets mannerisms automatically. Clothes do not change appearance. Their appearance will eventually change back to their original form after several days. Rank of the technique is determined by the rank of the person being copied. Lasts twenty [20] posts once technique is active, but user may freely switch between appearances until those posts are up.
Empty Cicada Shell Rank: X | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: The user will project their voice to a different area to hide their location and the number of allies at their side. Rank is determined by the distance of the projected voice, increasing by five [5] meters per rank. At S-rank, voice can be projected to another thread within the same sub-forum.
Water Droplet Reflection Rank: X | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: By dilating their pupils, the user is able to track down enemies via the reflection on tiny water droplets. This spell can also be used to augment their evasion-skills during combat. Downsides of this spell are the evaporation of water droplets caused by the sun, which complicates the usage of the technique and shortens its period of time and their sensitivity towards blinding light, for example caused by a flash bomb. After the initial mana cost (which sets the dilation reaction time), maintaining and manipulating the pupils further only takes an E-rank. Anything that causes ocular pain, such as bright lights, deactivates the spell. Rain and/or mist is required, and range is increased by half a kilometer per rank. Likewise, under this spell the cost of evasion abilities up to the rank this spell is used is reduced by one [1] rank (i.e. a B-rank technique will cost C-rank). This spell can be continued after the initial post for half of the original cost.
Wave Transmission Rank: X [C minimum] | Strength: -- | Speed: -- Description: With this spell, the user is capable of creating a wave, by touching a solid substance, like a wall, that lets them communicate with their allies. Usable when within one [1] kilometer of the targets, and in contact with the same substance. Higher ranks increase the range, doubling each time (guide: B-2, A-4, S-8, S+16). Sent to up to two [2] targets per rank. Communication is one-way.
Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Multiple Shadow Clone Technique] Rank: Augment [learned as A] Strength: C Speed: -- Description: This jutsu is essentially a massive version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a few clones, it creates a few hundred. This is considered a forbidden jutsu, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user. Unlike the normal Kage Bunshin, the user's chakra and stamina is divided equally among every clone, including the original. This technique start off at a minimum of one hundred [100] clones produced, and they can be produced until each has only one [1] chakra/stamina (whichever occurs first). The user must retain at least [1] of each pool or they will lose consciousness. Shadow clones are solid clones, and cannot be told apart by doujutsu. The clone disperses if it receives a solid hit (C-rank or higher), or runs out of chakra or stamina. When a clone is dispersed, any knowledge it gained while active is transferred to the original only, no other clones, and any remaining chakra and stamina is returned to the user. • Requires knowing Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique]. • This is an upgrade of Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and takes the same slot as the B-rank version once learned. Either version can be used for the appropriate version's cost. • Shadow clones may not leave the area [same sub-forum] that the original is in. • Shadow clones can be used to train as long as they are in the same thread as the original. When the user touches their palm to their opponent’s body, they can withdraw the physical and spiritual energy out of them. Hikarakuyou [Falling Blossoms and Scattering Leaves] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: Hana Shuriken • Hikarakuyou is a Ninjutsu technique used by Flower Country Shinobi. After using their weapon to launch flowers into the air, the Shinobi will turn them into shuriken which they can launch at their opponent. Must have actual flowers in the environment. Rank determines the number of shuriken created, as well as how fast and hard they're thrown. Creates five [5] shuriken per rank.
Kai [Release] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique that is typically used to break the effects of chakra on either themselves or another shinobi, particularly Genjutsu. After forming the needed hand seal, the technique loses its hold on the shinobi. An ally can form the hand seal and physically touch the afflicted to break the technique. Kai essentially halts, for a brief moment, chakra running through the body, cancelling out foreign chakra within. As such, the technique can also be used to break techniques affecting the chakra directly, such as buffs and debuffs, and temporary physical alterations, such as chakra-based paralysis, assuming they have the ability to make the hand seal. Kinobori no Waza [Act of Tree Climbing] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou [Tree Climbing Training] helps a Shinobi learn how to focus their Chakra. It also teaches the Shinobi how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the Shinobi learn how to focus just the right amount of Chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master Chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the Shinobi will have any Jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their Chakra as needed. Does not take up space on the profile, but must have listed. Requires an E-rank upkeep cost per post of use. From there, the user can utilize the technique to effectively anchor themselves to a surface to prevent losing footing and falling, for an amount of chakra equivalent to the technique they are anchoring themselves from. • Receives no reductions to learning. Nunoshibari no Jutsu [Cloth Bind Technique] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: -- Description: Cloth users will carry a binding roll of cloth into battle, when an enemy is stunned or unable to move, the ninja will unfurl the roll and quickly wrap the target in cloth. The ninja will then cut the cloth and wrap the remainder into the bind. When used in conjunction with sealing tags, the target is unable to escape. These two binding methods will also prevent reverse summoning the victim to freedom. Requires a large bolt of cloth able to fully enclose around an individual and the victim must be bound manually. Once bound, the target can neither move nor mold any chakra, and is protected from all outside influence. Requires knowing Yuwaeru no Tsukegami Houin [ Binding Tag Seal ], and this technique takes the same slot. Must be used in conjunction with Yuwaeru no Tsukegami Houin. The bindings' chakra lasts for ten [10] posts, unless otherwise unraveled by the creator. D-ranked for one [1] human-sized wrapping, and each rank from there doubles the capacity.
Suimen Hokou no Waza [Act of Water Surface Walking] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: A variation on the Kinobori no Waza [ Act of Tree Climbing ], the art of water surface walking allows a Shinobi to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of Chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water. Requires an E-rank upkeep cost per post of use. From there, the user can utilize the technique to effectively anchor themselves to the surface of the water to prevent losing footing and falling, for an amount of chakra equivalent to the technique they are anchoring themselves from. Ayametori [Pattern Links] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: The user uses wire to form complex string figure designs with his hands. The wire itself is said to be stronger than steel. The figure the user creates can then be launched from the string as a powerful cutting attack. Each rank increases the distance traveled by three [3] meters and width of the technique by five [5] feet.
Bakuretsu Koinu [Exploding Puppy] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: Bakuretsu Koinu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by tamers. Resembling themselves, the companion replacement is actually a booby trap. Once an enemy is lured in thinking the companion is injured, the replacement creature will explode and launch a hail of kunai in every direction. This technique is not required to be used in conjunction with a tamer companion. It can be used with just about any cloned object. Rank determines how powerful the blast is.
Dokushinjutsu [Eye Mind Reading] Rank: X Strength: -- Speed: -- Description: Eye Mind Reading is a technique that allows the user to read another's mind. By subtly weaving signs with their eye, the user can delve into the mind of their target through eye contact without them noticing. This can also be used on a target that is currently reading the user's mind. The user is even able to perform this on themselves to restore or remove information in their own mind, or to identify if someone is telling the truth. Duration: 10 posts, but can be ended prematurely by the user. Rank is determined by the rank of the person the technique is used on.
Fukumi Hari [Hidden Needles] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: The user is able to call forth needles into their mouth and then spit them at their opponent with great accuracy. Rank determines how many needles are fired, as well as the strength and speed of the attack. Fires five [5] needles or other small objects that fit in the mouth per rank.
Gyorai Shin [Torpedo Needle] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: Removing nails from their pocket, the user will throw them into the air, at which point they plant themselves tip first into the earth. Using Chakra the nails will travel into the ground. Then at the user's discretion, they can fire the nails from the ground through the feet of their target to nail them in place. They can then fire the remaining nails from the ground to cut his target to pieces. 'Feeling/sensing/etc' your foot get nearly penetrated, still means you're nailed to the ground due to the speed of this trap. No one has the reflexes to dodge attacks unseen. Sensory Jutsu and those naturally gifted through bloodlines with Chakra sensing will be able to sense that the ground isn't safe, but won't be able to track individual nails. Rank determines the speed and strength, as well as how many nails can be controlled, up to five [5] per rank. Nails cannot be individually controlled.
Henge • Kongounyoi [Transform • Diamond-Like Hardness] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: -- Description: The user can transform their body into a diamond-hard staff, or an object of similar size to the shinobi. In this form they can extend the length of the staff and also alter the staff so their real body can be extended. Limited to objects of similar size to the shinobi. Rank determines the durability of the technique. Attacks of one rank higher can break the technique, and it requires an upkeep of half the original cost to maintain the form. Hitei Mushou [Flying Nail Mist Pierce] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: After forming the needed handseal, the user will emit a flying mist of small nails from their mouth. These small nails can travel towards their opponent at quite a distance. Rank determines how many needles are fired, as well as the strength and speed of the attack. Fires five [5] needles or other small objects that fit in the mouth per rank.
Hyakkaryouran [Many Flowers in Bloom] Rank: X Strength: -- Speed: -- Description: Used in conjunction with the Gokan Sakusou powder, the user will release a multitude of flower petals from their sleeve which will flow through the air and circle their opponent. The user themselves will then move through the flowers and blend in with the help of the sense altering agent. They can then launch surprise attacks while obscured by the petals themselves. Requires immunity to the Gokan Sakusou powder, or a bio-rebreather unit. Effects last for three [3] of the target's posts. Rank determines the area of effect, increasing the area by a three [3] meter radius per rank.
Hyakkasaihou [One Hundred Blossoming Flowers] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: Hana Ninpou • Hyakkasaihou is a Ninjutsu technique used by Flower Country Shinobi. After using a weapon to launch flowers into the air, the Shinobi will turn them into explosive bombs which can rain down on their target. Requires: A field of flowers. Rank determines number of bombs, starting at five [5] and doubling with each rank.
Kagonome [Mesh Cage] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: -- Description: The user uses wire which is said to be stronger than steel. After forming the needed hand seals, the user can manipulate their string into an interlocking dome for protection. This dome can repel most basic Taijutsu attacks. The user can reshape the wire within the dome as needed, changing it from a defensive structure to a binding string with ease. Requires at minimum 15 meters of wire. Rank determines the strength of the technique. Takes a hit of one rank higher to break wire. Not limited to the shape of a cage.
Kao Utsushi no Jutsu [Face Copy Technique] Rank: X Strength: -- Speed: -- Description: This technique allows the user to take on the body of their target. They must remain close to the one they want to copy for a short period of time. Their body will then shape and contort to resemble the target. The copy is said to be so good that even family members of the target cannot tell they are a fake. The user will even take on the smell of the original. Unfortunately the user does not copy the target’s Jutsu, leaving them with only their original limited skills. They are skilled however, in taking on the mannerisms of the original and playing up the character traits of their target. The clan member must also provide clothing to match the original. Their appearance will eventually change back to their original form after several days. Rank of the technique is determined by the rank of the person being copied, with non-shinobi characters being considered E-rank. Lasts twenty [20] posts once technique is active, but user may freely switch between appearances until those posts are up.
Kuro Tatsumaki [Black Tornado] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: Variable Description: The users will jump to each other’s shoulders and form two columns of five men. They will then extend blades from their knuckles. Each column will then begin to spin, becoming a large slicing vortex. The tornado will even be able to cut through stone. The one who knows the technique must be on the bottom. Can be performed solo, but the user becomes blind during the activation of the Jutsu. Rank determines how hard the attack hits, and automatically increases by one per additional person.
Narikawari no Jutsu [Change Technique] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: -- Description: When used, the user will form a clone which can mimic the Chakra and form of anyone he touches. Because the copy is weak in battle, it is used primarily as a distraction. Once the Jutsu is ended, the transformed copy will revert to its normal clone state. Rank is determined by the rank of the person being copied, with non-shinobi considered E-rank. By coming in physical contact with someone, a clone equivalent to the opponent's rank is created. Clone can take damage up to the rank it is created at, but can only use E-rank attacks that the target knows.
Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu [Cherry Blossom Snow Storm Technnique] Rank: X Strength: Variable Speed: -- Description: The user will hurl kunai with pouches attached at their target. When they impact, the pouches explode, releasing small explosive notes. Due to the large number of kunai thrown, a shower of notes will rain down on their target. They will then throw one final kunai with an active explosive note at their target. It will begin to burn, and by igniting the falling smaller notes it will cause a gigantic explosion. Rank determined by number of kunai, with five [5] at E-rank, and doubling with each rank from there. Must have the required number of kunai.
Utsusemi no Jutsu [Empty Cicada Shell Technique ] Rank: X Strength: -- Speed: -- Description: Forming the needed handseals, the user will project their voice to different area to hide their location and the number of allies at their side. Rank is determined by the distance of the projected voice, increasing by five [5] meters per rank. At S-rank, voice can be projected to another thread within the same sub-forum.
Suiteki Hansha Hikari [Water Droplet Reflection Sight] Rank: X Strength: -- Speed: -- Description: By dilating their pupils, the user is able to track down enemies via the reflection on tiny water droplets. This technique can also be used to augment their evasion-skills during combat. Downsides of this technique are the evaporation of water droplets caused by the sun, which complicates the usage of the technique and shortens its period of time and their sensitivity towards blinding light, for example caused by a flash bomb. Is activated with no hand signs. After the initial chakra cost (which sets the dilation reaction time), maintaining and manipulating the pupils further only takes an E-rank. Causes extreme ocular pain to the user, from all encompassing flashes of light, which deactivates the jutsu. Rain and/or mist is required, and range is increased by half a kilometer per rank. Likewise, under this technique the cost of evasion techniques up to the rank this technique is used is reduced by one [1] rank (i.e. a B-rank technique will cost C-rank). This technique can be continued after the initial post for half of the original cost.
Onpa densō no Jutsu [Wave Transmission Technique] Rank: X [C minimum] Strength: -- Speed: -- Description: With this technique, the user is capable of creating a wave, by touching a solid substance, like a wall, that lets them communicate with their allies. Usable when within one [1] kilometer of the targets, and in contact with the same substance. Higher ranks increase the range, doubling each time (guide: B-2, A-4, S-8, S+16). Sent to up to two targets 2 per rank. Communication is one-way.
Jigyakkou no Jutsu [Time Regression Technique] Rank: X Strength: -- Speed: -- Description: Jigyakkou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by the ANBU to pull out forgotten memories. After forming the needed hand seals, the ANBU will put the target into a trance. After counting back to the day they wish to learn about, they will ask the target to remember incidents they have since forgotten. This allows the ANBU to gather intel that would otherwise be inaccessible. The target must be held still by either force or their own will. Konoha's World Barrier [Unnamed] Rank: X Strength: -- Speed: -- Description: This unnamed barrier Ninjutsu forms a protective shell. Should anyone try to penetrate the sphere, the user or users connected to it will be alerted and take appropriate action. The barrier will allow the user to identify how many people pass through the barrier. Size of barrier is determined by the amount of chakra used. At E-rank the technique cover only one person, but its size increases exponentially until it can cover a village at S-rank. Can be maintained for half of the original cost per post after the first, or a portion equal to the original cost can be taken from the user's chakra to maintain it permanently (or until it is released).
