___E i s e i j u t s u The world of Medical jutsu is a difficult one for a ninja to break into: Shinobi who practice this art often possess some form of hereditary skill or a knack for chakra control. The fact that ninja who are in life threatening situations don't normally want to be used as training subjects doesn't help the process either... though who can really blame them?
___S p e c i f i c Eiseijutsu are a unique style of jutsu. Without being in the Medic Class, you cannot learn them. All E-rank techniques are considered 'cantrips' and do not take slots to learn, however, retraining any E-rank techniques causes them to take up a slot.
___R e d u c t i o n s Eiseijutsu receive the same reduction bonuses as ninjutsu. Simply put, when you are training inside of an academy, or are of the Ninjutsu Class, the ninjutsu reduction affects eiseijutsu.

___T e r m i n o l o g y Tenketsu Burnout: Destroys two Tenketsu every post, after three initial, burnout-free posts. Main Tenketsu destroyed reduces the max chakra and stamina by 2/361. This number is constant, regardless of any altered maxes. Note that a skilled med-nin can halt a burnout and then restore lost nodes, with (respectively) a Major Healing Hands on the afflicted area(s) and Tenketsu Creation. i.e. Nodes do not naturally grow back.
Tenketsu Rot: Damages active chakra or stamina supplies by 2/361 (of max) every post, and creates stagnated pools. Stagnated pools render the afflicted body area(s) unusable, and generally confer associated amounts of pain. (if all surrounding pathways are cut, so that no chakra/stamina can reach it)
Adrenaline: This chemical kicks in when damage occurs to the body, by revving up the engines, so to speak. While scratches and the like are not counted, larger, single time amounts of damage are cumulative, and have a one post cooldown. (i.e. cannot chain highs through the lows) All of these require a complete, accurate description of the injury, and immediate medical treatment due to the size of said injury. This list is by volume (including blood loss), and for the post immediately after the damage is taken:
Palm to finger: 1 extra descriptive to one area. Forearm to palm: 1 extra descriptive to one area. Arm to forearm: 1 extra jutsu activation.

E-rank
Thread Rank: E Description: Connects severed flesh back, vein to vein. In doing so, less flesh is reduced to scarring, which allows for a shortened amount of healing time needed. Does not provide actual healing, aside from connecting the major veins, meaning that some bleeding still occurs and more acute healing techniques are needed. However, it can stop someone from bleeding out. Does not need concentrated focus to do, and so is good for emergencies. Reduces time to heal naturally by [2] posts.
Mana Donation Rank: X Description: A spell to attach one person to another, via mana and stamina transfers. Akin to direct blood donations, this spell gifts an immobile, unconscious patient energy, and then circulates it to prevent mana stagnation. Useful most often when one's entire mana system has been shunted for a lengthy time, or the spirit has been ripped forcefully from the body, to prevent the physical body from dying. Each rank provides half of its rank of mana or stamina to the patient, with the other half used to circulate it in the body. The user is highly vulnerable during this time, with interruptions causing the target to be transferred from to possibly black out from pain. Can be used on self.
Cleanse Rank: E Description: It is not always possible for a medic to practice basic hand washing and other procedures. This spell has the effect of instantly removing bacteria, dirt, blood, and other contaminants from the user’s hands, lower arms, and face. It also ensures that any breath that comes from the user’s body will be free of any bacteria or infectious disease. This spell can also be used to clean the wounds of others in order to prevent infection from bacteria. In the event that the medic is using this spell to prevent infection of an injury that has been inflicted upon them, it is used in the same manner as if the caster were using it on somebody else. Holding one's hands out, simply concentrating on removing the foreign substances activates the spell.
Massage Rank: E Description: For a variety of reasons, muscles, tendons, and ligaments can become overworked and painful. This may be because some type of injury occurred or it may simply be the result of too much work without enough rest. By applying the proper amount of pressure at the right pressure points, and using small amounts of mana, a medic is able to relieve pain and help a patient's body recover more quickly. A strain or sprain can seriously hinder the effectiveness of a warrior and as such this spell really can make a difference. Allows regeneration of Mana // Stamina effects to be increased by one category for [5] posts.
Extraction Rank: E Description: When a patient's body has a foreign object in it, such as the point of a shuriken, a senbon needle, or an arrow, it is important to remove the object without further harming the patient. Using this technique the medical casters places their hands on either side of the injured area and uses Mana to very carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues in order to remove the object without causing any further damage. Depending on the severity of the wound and nature of the object, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes to remove it. Stops secondary damage from occurring due to specific ammunition types that deal more damage upon removal.

The only exception to this is if the person this is being used on was just infected within [1] post previously. This spell is less effective against highly advanced bacterial infections. Increases the time before the infection progresses by [2] posts.
Viral Cleanse Rank: D Description: This spell does not cure a viral infection; it simply extracts a portion of the infection and prevents immediate death. This spell allows a medic enough time to prepare a counter agent to the infection. This spell can be used on oneself. A patient will still die from a lethal infection even if this spell is used if the infection is not treated. The only exception to this is if the person this is being used on was just infected within [1] post previously. This spell is less effective against highly advanced viral infections. Increases the time before the infection progresses by [2] posts.
Bandage Rank: D Description: Bandages can mean the difference between life and death but unfortunately bandages can run out. The medic has learned to make temporary bandages from their surroundings. Objects such as grass, sand, water and many others can be woven together with mana over a wound to create a temporary bandage. The bandage lasts for three [3] posts without a supply of mana from the medic, but may maintain existence with an upkeep of five [5] mana from the medic per post. This does take up actions for upkeep.
Lung Inflation Rank: D Description: When a patient's lungs collapse, it is often fatal even when a medic can reinflate them. This spell provides an instant prop up of lung tissue, to allow for other medical spells to provide life saving care, such as oxygen circulation and Healing Hands operations. Lung Inflation also keeps the patient from breathing properly, which requires additional care.
Poison Removal Rank: D Description: This spell does not cure poison; it simply extracts a portion of the poison and prevents immediate death. This spell allows a medic enough time to prepare a counter agent to the poison. This spell can be used on oneself. A patient will still die from a lethal poison even if this spell is used if the poison is not treated. The only exception to this is if the person this is being used on was just poisoned within [1] post previously. This spell is less effective against highly advanced poisons. Increases the time before the poison progresses by [2] posts.
Blood Coagulation Rank: D Description: The user forces their mana into a wound to make the blood there coagulate and causes the wound to stop bleeding. This is primarily used as a preliminary treatment option since it does not close wounds. The bleeding from superficial wounds can easily be stopped after one [1] full post but deep wounds require three [3] posts. Using this spell on deeper wounds will result in scar tissue forming if further treatment is not received.
Blood Circulation Rank: D Description: Used when the heart is undergoing irregularities or stillness, this spell is good for moving blood forcefully through the heart, to the rest of the body. Alternatively, this can cause open wounds to bleed even more, due to the advanced circulation.
Oxygen Supply Rank: D Description: While it is possible for anyone to perform CPR without Mana, this spell is an improvement. By holding their hands over a patient’s chest, a medic is able to use mana to very carefully massage the heart and lungs in to functioning. This spell is not effective if, for some reason, the air passage is blocked. It does not provide oxygen or blood, it only forces air in and out of the lungs and makes the heart continue to beat. A C - ranked character's are able to perform this spell on two patients at once if the need should arise. This spell requires that patients be unconscious and still before it will work. It will not work to disrupt the breathing and heart rate of anyone who is awake.

Healing Hands Rank: X Description: The user concentrates Mana into their hands creating a ball of healing Mana. This Mana when concentrated will repair physical damage to another person. The effects of this spell are limited to superficial cuts and injuries though it can reduce the severity of more serious injuries. This is required training before any healing spells of this rank or higher can be learned.
Blood Transfusion Rank: C Description: Loss of blood is a serious condition, and not very uncommon one in the battlefield. When a person reaches such a dangerous state, a medical Caster can ease their symptoms by using this spell. First, the medical caster places a surgically precise cut on the patient and then another cut on the donor. The donor and the recipient must have their respective cuts within six inches of each other; this is typically accomplished by cutting their opposing arms and having them lay beside each other. The medical caster then forms a sphere of Mana between the two cuts drawing out blood from both patients and altering it so that the blood type of the donor matches that of the recipient. It is important to remember that taking more than 1 pint of blood from a donor is extremely dangerous, even with the loss of only 1 pint of blood the donor may suffer from dizziness and fatigue.
Necrotic Flesh Cleanse Rank: C Description: Used to remove stagnated, non-living flesh, blood, bone, and other such components, without harming the living versions.
Water Mosquito Rank: C Description: The user creates water mosquitoes, that can be used to nullify poison in a target's body. Requires Water affinity, and the Extraction spell. This spell requires far less concentration than simply performing Extraction, and can be performed ahead of time when the user knows they're headed into a poisonous battle, as preparation.
Medicinal Mind Rank: C Description: Curing people of their mental problems is usually a long, drawn out process between the psychologist and their patient, through many sessions of inner reflection and medication usage. This spell provides the former, by allowing the psychologist to gently nudge or open a single memory harmlessly in a certain direction. It does not replace it or alter it in any way, but the patient usually will undergo an immediate relapse, allowing the doctor to use their other skills to continue the healing process.
Temperature Control Rank: C Description: Normal body temperature can be disrupted for one reason or another and this spell is used to restore it. It can be used to treat abnormally high or low body temperatures either by using mana to infuse the patients body with heat or by using mana to siphon off excess heat. It is not required for medics to continue to use this spell in order for it to be effective but unless the cause of the abnormal body temperature is solved then it will occur again over time. Temperature stabilizes after one [1] full post.

Pain Intensification Rank: X Description: Pain, the body's way of signaling danger, affects the mind in more ways than one. Intensifying it within an opponent will detract from their ability to deal with situations, leaving you with more opportunities. This spell intensifies any pain the opponent is feeling, making it harder to move or attacks. The target's physical speed is reduced by a half [.5] rank per rank. B-rank is crippling, immobilizing the opponent, and S-rank can knock the target out.
Blood Blockade Rank: X Description: Blood Blockade causes varying amounts of internal damage in the form of bruising. At each rank before S (i.e. lethal), the structure, strength, and area size increase. Pain increases at each point, typically causing unconsciousness by A-rank.
Muscle Shock Rank: E Description: An ability designed by medic to perform attacks at a lower level so they would be able to defend themselves slightly. This attack simply provides a taser like shock to an opponent that causes their muscles to tense all at once. This immobilizes them long enough for the medic to retreat or launch an attack of their own. Note that the medical casters must be touching their target for this to take effect. The shock lasts for one [1] post.

Phantom Limb Rank: D Description: The feeling of having another limb when it is not present is defined as having a phantom limb. Many times, amputees will try to catch a falling item, grasp a door knob, or try to stand when there is no limb there. This natural feeling can be given to targets, in order to produce long-term confusion. While having only one of these is simply a bugger, multiples will degrade battle ability by leaps and bounds. Lasts for three [3] posts. Requires touching the area that will have the feeling stem from, skin-to-skin not required. Examples: Phantom limbs interfere with hands by messing up hand seals, legs by causing large imbalance, heads by causing a wishy-washy sensation, and more.
Laughing Gas Rank: D Description: The user now knows how to create a laughing gas which, once inhaled makes the opponent laugh uncontrollably for two [2] posts. The gas is sometimes used as pranks among children, but during battle can be used in creative ways to disable or weaken opponents. For the duration, the afflicted loses one [1] of their actions per post.
Lung Collapse Rank: D Description: In this spell, mana is formed into a highly concentrated visible aura around the hands and any contact with an opponent's chest or stomach will be enough for the lungs to collapse momentarily, incapacitating them for one [1] post. This spell can not affect any other organs in the body except for the lungs. Requires physical touch.

Mana Syringe Rank: C Description: Much like a performance of the Mana scalpel, it has a different effect: the mana syringe can be injected into almost anything, but its an injection used to Inject Mana into the body of another, causing extreme, incapacitating pain for three [3] posts. The syringe itself is very thin and hardly noticeable.
X-Ray Rank: C Description: A simple spell, and one of the few long range techniques available to medics. A simple ray of mana is fired, creating the shape of an X whilst in the air an inch wide. Though it is rather small, it is launched rather quickly. Causes first degree burns on the outside and inflicts fifty [50] rads in the target (see Radiation Sickness for more details).
Moumoku [Blindness] Rank: B Description: Enforces a lack of sight by touching the opponent with pre-created chakra "gloves" that encase the hand in a thin membrane of one's chakra. By coming into physical contact with the opponent's bared flesh, the sense of sight is removed for a total of ten [10] posts, though the effect may be ended at any time by the original user. Arerugi Souzou [Allergen Creation] Rank: S Description: Allergies can often be just as deadly as direct fighting. A user that can place their hand upon a target can enact this jutsu, causing hypersensitivity in the target's immune system, to a single object, whether it's pollen or even sunlight. This results in severe allergic reactions when coming in contact with the allergen they are afflicted with. This effect is permanent, unless Arerugi Tekijo [Allergen Removal] is performed, and is not retrainable. Originator: Kokuei Nara [Arrow35]
Shinkeitsuu [Neuralgia] Rank: S Description: This technique creates unbearable pain. In order to use this technique a medical nin first gathers chakra in their hand and then touch any point on the victims body, the nerves in the immediate area will be assaulted with a pain so severe that it’s debilitating. It is near impossible to withstand this pain and targets of this technique will often desperately clutch at the inflicted area while screaming. The pain inflicted by this technique fades rather quickly ([2] posts) but the area affected remains extremely sore for at least a day in character, or [20] posts, whichever occurs first. Ishoku Funkyuu [Implant Complication] Rank: S Description: Dealing with an implant is a harrowing and dangerous maneuver, as any slip in the delicate balance between the host and itself may cause complications. Aside from this, the burden placed upon the host is great, requiring active chakra levels just to simply use it. In addition, various effects--both positive and negative--from the implant intermingle with its host at certain stages. This jutsu allows for complications such as making the implant's weaknesses carry over to the non-active state, or even decreasing the effectiveness of any part of it at any active or non-active state. This technique causes one complication per successful jutsu usage, and requires touching the implant. The complication will last for [10] posts before returning to normal. Human Color Rank: E Description: A medic spell typically used by academy students, this spell changes the color of the target's skin, eyes, or hair, using their natural melanin. Many varieties are available, from nearly transparent albino to the deepest of black, from the reds of gingers to the violets of eyes! Is permanent.
Delicate Stitching Rank: X Description: The user places their hands against an open wound, releasing mana from their pores in order to "sew" the injury. The threads formed are more like thin mana staples than anything else, and can be broken if upset. When the afflicted area is fully healed, the stitches will merely dissolve. This spell can also be performed offensively, the user simply hitting the target with a mana infused hand, creating the threads which can then be tugged and so on. The user creates mana stitches to either seal wounds or wrap opponents. For each additional rank of chakra the user pays while performing this technique offensively, the number of threads created and their durability increases accordingly. Each rank allows for five [5] "stitches" to be made per utilization of this spell.
Adhesives Rank: E Description: Biological adhesives are often used in surgical applications, such as skin grafting and for suturing wounds. The composition of these adhesives includes variations of proteins. Fibrin is a commonly used natural “clotting” protein material that is used to help mend damaged vessels and for wound applications. Does not immediately stop bleeding or begin healing, as this is a mid- to long-term medical spell, meant to keep stitches, emergency measures, and other such spells from failing. Healing Hands applied after this, and during the same operation, will reduce its mana cost by one [1] rank. Used offensively, can glue living tissue to other living tissue.
Diagnosis Rank: E Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a medic uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This spell is preformed by slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A medic of higher body rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. The time it takes to scan a body reduces as the user grows in strength, taking all three [3] actions at E-rank, two [2] at C, and only one [1] at A.
Power of Resistance Rank: X Description: A medic must always be aware of possibly becoming a victim of whatever their patient is suffering from. With this spell a medic temporarily increases their resistance to diseases and poisons. It has no effect on diseases or poisons already effecting them, however. This spell slows the progress of diseases and poisons by two [2] posts per rank. Can only be used on oneself.

Muscle Relaxant Rank: D Description: This spell causes the muscles of an affected area to immediately cease being tense, and prevents them from gaining any further stress. Makes the area unusable for the duration. Lasts three [3] posts.
Body Echoes Rank: D Description: An ultrasound spell, what is on the inside is illuminated to a black and white image at the surface. Precise spells becomes even more so when one can see within, and many patients have requested this to see their future children. Requires both hands to physically touch the surface, with the image displaying between them.
Mental Diagnosis Rank: Augment [learned as D] Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this spell, the medic uses their hands to carefully probe a patient's mind for problems. This spell is performed by slowly running both hands over their head, looking for signs of mental injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as mental harm, suffering, damage, impairment, or dysfunction caused to a person as a direct result of some action or failure to act by some individual. A medic of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a mind to determine cause and time of death. The time it takes to scan a body reduces as the user grows in strength, taking all three [3] actions at E-rank, two [2] at C, and only one [1] at A. Requires knowing Diagnosis. This is an upgrade of Diagnosis, but takes up its own slot, as the original is E-rank. Either version can be used for the appropriate version's cost.

Jellyfish Rank: C Description: By applying jellyfish to a person's form in advance, the jellyfish can store up and spread mana throughout its host to allow for quick recovery from a recent injury. This spell appears to drain the jellyfish completely as it can only be used once. Requires Water affinity. Stores one C-rank or lower medical spell in the jellyfish, until the user wishes to trigger the stored technique. Does not take an action to use.
Diagnosis: Two Rank: Augment [learned as C] Description: Requiring regular Diagnosis before this, this spell elaborates on what is actually wrong, specifically, based on the user's learned knowledge. If already studied or experienced, it will tell what kind of level of infection is present, and what remedy steps must be taken, if known. Can also determine what kind of cancer, if any, is present, where, and in what quantities. Requires knowing Diagnosis]. This is an upgrade of Diagnosis, but takes up its own slot, as the original is E-rank. It may take the same slot as Mental Diagnosis. Any version can be used for the appropriate version's cost.
Pressure Point Reinforcement] Rank: C Description: Useful almost entirely upon study of one's own mana system, this allows for the user to poke pressure points directly, without opening or closing it. Reinforcing a pressure point is the same as providing a structure to keep it from being forcefully closed. Casting this spell envelopes both hands, with further non-medical mana usage forcefully turning it off. Is permanent up to one tampering, for each pressure point involved. Is good for reinforcing five [5] points per hand, for a total of ten [10] max. Those with the Mana Trace Evo can learn this without needing to be a Medic, and this spell acts as a Ruler spell for them, therefore not taking up a slot. Each pressure point can only be reinforced once, without causing burnout.
Pressure Point Weakening Rank: C Description: Useful almost entirely upon study of one's own mana system, this allows for the user to poke pressure points directly, without opening or closing it. Weakening a pressure point is the same as providing a structure to keep it from being forcefully opened. Casting this spell envelopes both hands, with further non-medical mana usage forcefully turning it off. Is permanent up to one tampering, for each pressure point involved. Is good for weakening five [5] points per hand, for a total of ten [10] max. Those with the Mana Trace Evo can learn this without needing to be a Medic, and this spell acts as a Ruler spell for them, therefore not taking up a slot. Each pressure point can only be weakened once, without causing burnout.
Pressure Point Connection Rank: C Description: Useful almost entirely upon study of one's own mana system placement, this allows for the user to poke the spaces between pressure points, adding extra routes. Casting this spell envelopes both hands, with further non-medical mana usage forcefully turning it off. This allows the temporary creation of pathways between pressure points, bypassing those that have been closed. This can also be used to allow faster mana and stamina flow, allowing mana and stamina pools to regenerate one [1] step faster per rank for a short period of time. Duration at E-rank is ten [10] posts, but the duration decreases by two [2] posts per rank thereafter, to a minimum of one [1] post at S-rank. Doing so will result in a burnout. Burnout, what occurs after this time frame has passed, causes the body to eject all mana and stamina from the body until only one [1] remains in either pool. This can cause serious damage to everyone around, and to the user, depending on just how much was left in each. Those with the Mana Trace Evo can learn this without needing to be a Medic, and this spell acts as a Ruler spell for them, therefore not taking up a slot.
Pressure Point Separation Rank: C Description: Useful almost entirely upon study of one's own mana system placement, this allows for the user to poke the routes between pressure points, subtracting routes.Casting this spell envelopes both hands, with further non-medical mana usage forcefully turning it off. Mainly useful for warding away permanent illusions from the body and mind, or separating mana infections, it can also slow mana or stamina usage to prevent burnout. Cannot be used in conjunction with Pressure Point Connection to avoid the resulting burnout. Those with the Mana Trace Evo can learn this without needing to be a Medic, and this spell acts as a Ruler spell for them, therefore not taking up a slot.
