So, I was on 9gag and reading the posts when I came across one that is really... thoughtful. And a little sad. About the ending of Deathly Hallows.

Wow... I would never wish that fate upon anyone, even if they are fiction! Sure for a few decades it would be alright, but to remain the same as you watch everyone around you age and die? I'm glad Rowling didn't make that as the ending. Harry's personality would probably become convoluted after the first few centuries when he starts hating being alive.

Thanks for sharing this though, this kind of twist can make plot bunnies for fanfiction : )

I just... I guess it just goes to show that there are two kinds of people, the ones that see the happy ending and the ones that see the sad ending. I mean, it's kind of beautiful in its sadness, but it's still horrible.
