Story:
The Kingdom of Ashire and Deltar are the 2 most powerful nations in this world. Realizing that a war between the 2 would bring great devastation to the world, the 2 nations formed an alliance. Over the years, the bond between the 2 nations grew stronger and stronger despite the fact that they could not be more different but all that changed in the blink of an eye. In a single moment, the once good friends were suddenly at each other's throats. As the war dragged on, it became clear that the key to winning this war was magic. Teams of magi began researching to find more powerful magic to crush their enemies. This dramatically changed the world. Before anyone could react or realize what had happened, the powerful magic used by both nations left much of the world lifeless.

Important Information:
Ashire:
Ashire is a nation that deeply honors their ancestors. They firmly believe that their ancestors went to war with Deltar for a just reason and wish to honor their judgment and finished this war. They have seen too many of their own die in this war and refuse to allow all those lost lives be for not. Many years ago, they had records of what happened and how the war started but almost all their history and archives was lost in a great fire. They claim that there was one journal entry that survived the fire. It was an entry that described the start of the war and the reason they believed the war started but only a select few have ever even seen the burnt piece of paper.

Deltar:
The people of Deltar believe they are fighting for a better future. They see all Ashirians as war loving brutes and believe if they don’t win this war, the world will never be able to recover. They believe that Ashire started this war for no good reason and that they will continue to force war upon the world until there is nothing left. They too had their historical archives taken from them. Their royal historian was assassinated and their archives were taken long ago. The culprit was never caught so no one knows for sure who did it but Deltar believe it was an agent sent by Ashire to cover their tracks about the true reason for the start of the war.

The Forgotten Forest:
The Forgotten Forest is located in a seclude part of the world but it look like an oasis in the middle of a vast never-ending desert. It is a place that was discovered about half a year ago. Word of it spread quickly because it was alive and thriving. The trees seemed ancient and the forest was called the Forgotten Forest because somehow the world had missed it until now. Both Ashire and Daltar were very interested in this forest since it not only seemed to have slipped the eye of the world but also managed thrive even after all these years of war when nothing else was able to. All other ancient forests are already gone or are only an expanse of dead or dying trees. This forest very quickly earned the nickname Death’s Forest because whoever went in never came back out. Both nations have sent exploration parties to learn about the forest and when they did not return, both nations sent heavily armed escorts: again none returned.

Bio: Zaneth did at one point fight in the war as a mercenary so he has worked for both sides. He only took defense contracts and made a name for himself this way. He had never lost a battle and for years, he was feared on the battlefield. About half a year ago, he decided that he had enough. He took one last job and simply disappeared.
