T3h Mafia Guild Rules and How to Play

General T3h Mafia Guild Rules:

☆: No game screenshots - At all, ever.

☆: Each Mafia game may have certain rules other than the general rules. So please read the 1st page of the current game's thread to see if there are additional game rules.

☆: Post can never be deleted. If you feel the need to make a change to what you have posted you are only allowed to edit them. All mods can see when a post has been deleted, if you are caught doing this you will be warned. If you are caught doing it again you will be banned. If for any reason you need a post deleted please PM a Mod and we will decide if it shall be removed from the thread.

☆: Please do not create any new topics without the permission of either the Captain or Vice Captain.

☆: If you want to Host future games in T3h Mafia Guild please PM the Captain or Vice Captain. We will only allow one game to be played at a time, but you can ask now so you can start planning ahead. Applications for Hosting will be up at a later time. Also I reserve the right to decline your request for hosting any Mafia games so please don't be offended if I decline it.

☆: No drama other than game drama. If you personally attack someone, you will be warned. Do it again and you will be permanently banned from the guild. Remember Mafia is a game of backstabbing and lies. Even if you don't play like that, others have different ways of playing. It's just a game, try not to get too offended by the actions players take in the game.

☆: Mules cannont be used without authorization from the current game's Hosts. Some Hosts may allow the use of mules to veteran players to have more of a fair game. If you want to know for sure PM the Host before the game starts.

wahmbulance Remember, game play may be different in every game.
So always check the first page of the current game so you know what's different!

Here's a basic run-down of the game.

• Every round is 24 hours
  
  
• Once per round -everyone- votes off who they think the killer is (this is where alliances come in-- so you need to start talking to people in the forums and through PM's to be in an alliance to avoid vote-offs)
  
  
• The person voted off goes to jail and the killers victim dies (unless he was sent to jail or the angel saves them).
  
  
• Then round 2 starts and it happens all over again until either of the 2 winning conditions are met (one of the killers kills everyone except his lover [basically 4 people left in the game and the killer and his lover auotwin]) or else the GCDers jail the 2 killers and the game ends.
  
  
• The prize money is split between whoever wins.
  

Helpful Hints:

• Be creative and energetic with your posts! The game is only as fun as YOU make it!
  
  
• Form alliances publicly or secretly! An alliance can be your best friend or your worst choice! Just remember, if you don't make allies... you'll probably be voted out! Remember the old adage: keep your friends close and your enemies closer...
  
  
• Shroud your identity in secrecy! You can CLAIM to be anyone! You can pm people telling them you are the detective and have a clue you want to share, and it can all be LIES!
  
  
• You may even want to prolong the game! The less people alive at the end means more prize money! So killing off innocents and sending them to jail may be a strategy you want to employ!
  
  
• Watch what you post. Anything you say can be used against you!
  
  
• BE LITERATE! You will get loads more respect!
