Ryuu's Plotting Thread
Hello, and welcome to my plotting thread! Detailed below are a list of plots my soquili are looking for, as well as breeding status. They are ordered by species (soquili or familiar), breeding availability (open or closed), by sex, and then alphabetically. Most of the information are summaries; to find out more about my characters, click their cert to be taken to their journal post in my teepee.
To contact me, please quote me in this thread. If you'd like to keep plots private for any reason, my inbox is open as well.
Finally, I've been asked about my plot thread's format a few times, so I wanted to state this publicly: if you wanted to use my format, please feel free to do so, including taking my "Information" and "Forms" post ad verbum. My only request is that credit is properly attributed. Thank you!

Key

Bullets (●) list stand-alone plots.
Numbers by bullets (● 1, ● 2, etc.) denote a longer plot where the same individual is required for more than one roleplay. Because of this, I may have multiple roleplays going on with different characters before deciding on one.
Light gray font means the plot is no longer open to new offers.
Breedings
Soquili are organized by availability. If I have not had the time to list a character from my teepee into my plot thread, please feel free to inquire.
Open means the character is amicable towards offers. Some may have certain preferences they are looking for IC, which will be listed in the Breeding Status or Breeding Conditions section.
Closed means the character is not open for offers at all. I may choose to offer them myself if they are not in a committed relationship, but otherwise, I would prefer it if no one proposed a pairing for them.
Roleplaying
I'm not open to roleplay requests at this time. However, for when I am:
I am a slow roleplayer. It's not uncommon for me to take weeks or months for a tag, though it largely depends on how my classes are going. If our roleplay is listed in my Tag List (see post 4), I would rather not be poked about them, so that I can reply on my own time.
Meet-and-greets in guild roleplay have the highest chance of dying with me. (Meet-and-greets with in-thread roleplay are fine, however.) I work better with more structured, or pre-plotted, roleplays.
Plotting
Any of my characters are open to plotting, regardless of whether or not I've listed the plot or their character here. To see all of my characters, visit my teepee.
However, none are open to death, though heal-able wounds and mental turmoil is fine. Maiming and other permanent injuries such as blindness will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Most of my plots are flexible, and changes can be made to better fit your character or adapt to any ideas we want to incorporate.
Plots can be roleplayed out if I am open, or simply backplotted. If plotted, I may ask you if I'd be able to copy and paste our conversation to this thread for the sake of having a reliable record.
Breeding
I usually don't decide on a character's romantic leanings until it's plotted; as such, most of my characters can be open to numerous types of relationships, including opposite-sex pairs or same-sex pairs, with their own species or with other sapient species, monogamy or polygamy, and so forth. My characters may have a preference for a certain type, but it's not something set in stone.
I'm open for regular breedings (offspring obtained via breeding slots) and mock breedings (offspring obtained via custom slots, bribe slots, Wishing Stars, and similar).
I'm not a fan of crack breedings (breedings where one or both of the parents aren't related to the children by blood in-character, and the resulting offspring may not throwback to the parents) but I'm willing to consider it.
I'm not a fan of doppel breedings (crack breedings, except the offspring may throwback to the parents and, by extension, any further ancestors) but I'm willing to consider it. I would be much more open to this form of breeding if we can say that the parents and offspring are still related by blood—not as parent and child, but as something like cousins twice-removed or similar. Canonically, it would not be your character that bred with mine, but an NPC relative of your character that did. However, this may require the approval of other parties (for instance, a cousin relationship would not make sense if your character's parents were chaste and did not have additional children).
I am fine with being approached for anything: being asked about my baskets or foals (although there is a high chance I will decline; while I am okay with being asked about them, I may choose to wait if I do not have a good idea of what their adult personality will be like), breeding cousins, going into detail with gore, and so forth. However, I'd prefer it if discussion of such topics could be left in spoilers or done privately, as a courtesy to those who are uncomfortable with them.
I view romantic relationships as distinct from sexual ones. For instance, my characters may be romantically monogamous but sexually polygamous, or vice versa. Thus, I want to be clear that my character being romantically interested in yours (with your character reciprocating the feeling) does not guarantee a breeding slot. The only things that will guarantee a slot are: 1. being listed for a breeding, or 2. having a breeding agreement.
Potential Pairs
If you have a character you'd like to offer to one of mine, please be clear about it. As mentioned above, I consider romantic interest and sexual interest to be distinct; if someone offers a romantic partner or other close relationship, I will not assume they are also interested in a breeding unless they state so specifically.
For potential pairs, I'd like for them to have personalities or plotting that will allow it to be plausible in-character and that they be aesthetically pleasing with one another. If the former is really good, then I won't be too picky with the latter, and vice versa.
If I agree to test a potential couple together, it is only that, and nothing more. To put another way, testing a pair means my answer is "no," but that it can be changed to a "yes" depending on IC interaction. I will not reserve slots for our characters, or refrain from testing my character with others. In addition, I cannot promise I will prioritize our roleplay or plots, or that I will alert you if my character finds someone else, though I will try. As stated earlier, I consider testing the waters as a "no," meaning that you and I will have no further obligations to one another.
Confirmed Pairs
If we agree to a breeding, I would prefer we discuss how the two met, what will happen to the offspring, and what their relationship will be towards one another and their children.
An individual's teepee post lists their certs, uncerts, agreements, and throwbacks. In addition, the front page of my teepee lists any Low Luck counters I'm involved in.
Being listed for a slot means I have saved a slot for you, and nothing more. My list does not determine order; that is, someone who's listed third may receive a breeding with my character first, and so on. In addition, it does not guarantee that I will prioritize certain pairs over others.
Mock Breedings
If we agree to mock breed our pair, by default, we will be pursuing the children independent of each other and can assume that they will be obtained at separate times. That is to say, I will not be entering custom slots or Wishing Stars with you, unless otherwise discussed.
Mock children are considered semi customs, and will be treated as such. I may choose to give my customed child traits that neither parent possesses. It can be as small as an expression edit or accessory, or as large as suddenly sprouting demonic wings, as IC it can be attributed to twists. You are, of course, free to do the same. If you'd specifically like to request that the children resemble the parents, with little to no additional traits, please let me know.
I prefer to make forms similar to this, where our characters are able to be used as throwbacks for mock grandchildren and further descendants down the line.
For short-term relationships involving multiple breedings, I prefer to give out permission one slot at a time (for instance, for one child, or one set of twins). In addition, I'd rather we stick with either breeding slots or mock breeding permissions, and not both. (To be clear, this does not apply to long-term relationships. I would be happy to provide a blanket mockbreeding permission, if requested.)
However, all aspects of our agreement is open to discussion. The above merely describes my standard go-to.

The headers forms aren't be-all, end-all. For instance, if you're looking for general roleplay, I may ask if you'd be interested in a breeding, and vice versa. Their main purpose is to clarify what you're looking for, so that I can respond appropriately.
If you choose to make a breeding offer here, I will assume you have read the breeding section in my post above, so please be sure to do so. I would hate to hurt someone via miscommunication, and the post explicitly spells out my intentions and what you can expect from me.
Finally, the headers and form aren't required, but please make sure to include all the information if you opt out!

Breed: Mutant Purewalker
Personality: He is at perpetual war with his twin sister Razor "Rottenfang" Foxtails (Kyrieko) and has little time for anything else.
Looking For: Anything.
Breeding Status: Restricted
Breeding Conditions: Baskets will either be abandoned or used as pawns.
Plots:
Name: Inugami
Nicknames: Inu, Gami
Breed: Mutant Hippogryph Halfbreed
Personality: Inugami believes herself to be an admirable creature: sharp of mind and quick of paw, with a hunger for justice that drives her to bring peace upon the lands. The first two may prove true, but the last is not an opinion many would share. She is easily swayed by her emotions and quick to find insult, and her difficulty with empathizing with others skews her judgement more oft than not. It has earned her few friends, though she feels it to be a prejudice against her appearance that she must suffer through, rather than a fault of her own.
Looking For: Individuals who disagree with her; evil or chaotic characters.
Breeding Status: Connected to the Amachi Clan and Kumiho's line; please be careful to avoid inbreeding! She will breed for pleasure instead of attachment; however, she has personal goals she wants to reach, and it's likely children will only get in the way of that.
Treatment of Children: She would be happy to raise them if necessary, with or without the father. She will not force her children to agree with her goals or follow in her footsteps. Alternatively she would have no qualms if the father wished to care for them instead, so long as she deemed the father fit and lawful.
Plots:
1. Convoluted Outlook: Inugami has strong ideas on what being a martyr means. She often meets with prejudices and discrimination because of her demonic appearance, and believes she is taking on the sufferings of all soquili. For this plot, I'd be looking for someone that would support her line of thinking – someone manipulative, or not all sane, perhaps, but someone she can trust, and whose opinion she can hold in high regard.
Trying out with Chessur, The Great Glasgow (Nyx Queen of Darkness)
2. Break Away: A betrayal splits her off from the aforementioned character, to the point where she tries to kill the soquili. This leads Inugami to believe she can act as a judge of good and evil, and punish those in the latter category. I would love for this soquili to be the catalyst that causes her to change so much (see plots below) and that they be involved in a longer plot where she tries to get revenge on the soquili.
Trying out with Chessur, The Great Glasgow (Nyx Queen of Darkness)
Sinners, Part 1: Inugami actively seeks out individuals she considers evil and attempts to take them down. Though she is a skilled hunter, she has never gone after soquili before and lack of experience results in her failing the majority of her missions. (If you'd like to have more than one encounter, see Sinners, Part 2.)
Sparring Partner: Inugami seeks a sparring partner to improve her techniques. The soquili can be darker in nature, or simply not be aware that her intended targets are other soquili. She falls for her partner, but by this point she's convinced she’s a martyr and believes she must drop her worldly desires and do her duty for the greater good. When she feels sufficiently trained, she leaves her partner behind.
Sinners, Part 2: Inugami is getting better with her hunts and begins to eat her kills at this stage. Some have escaped her clutches, but not without some mark to remember her by. She can come across those she'd hunted before at this stage, and while I would prefer a victory for her (and an escape plan for the other xD) to mark her improvement, the details are completely open for discussion. A few NPCs will be killed off, and she could potentially plot with family members or friends of those NPCs as well.
We Walk the Same Path: Inugami has heard of skinwalkers before, but is cautious about believing an entire breed to be evil, especially because she herself is so often compared to one. In this plot, she comes across a skinwalker that is accepting of her actions, or at least non-judgmental. The two hunt together for some time, but it ends up being a ploy where the skinwalker tries to get her cursed. She remains immune because of her paws and cuts her ties with the skinwalker.
Blessed Am I: Inugami comes to the conclusion that she couldn’t be cursed because of her efforts to rid the world of evil has been noticed by the gods, and they've blessed her to be a pure and incorruptible creature. She contemplates the idea of finding others to join her cause. However, her beliefs have always been seen with disgust by the general populace, especially because of the added cannibalism. For this plot, individuals can try to reason with her, attack, or join. I would also like an individual she cares for (family member, sparring partner, old childhood friend) to discover her in the midst of feeding off of one of her victims and reacting strongly to it.

Nicknames: Jin
Breed: Angeni-Ulun'suti Crossbreed
Personality: Quiet and often brusque, many perceive Jinko as a callous individual who cares for little but herself. This is not untrue. She was raised in seclusion by a snake, which has left her reserved when it comes to meeting new people. Soquili often come off as scathing to her, as she is inexperienced with dealing with others of her kind.
Looking For: Anything.
Breeding Status: Jinko became lost in the forest as a child, and would have grown up feral if her adopted mother had not found her. She behaves somewhat like a snake, in the sense that she finds it difficult, if not impossible, to feel romantically for anyone, though she will breed if she's feeling up to it.
Treatment of Children: She dislikes the sensation of carrying and having children. She will abandon them as soon as she is able to, although her partner, Daliu (~Latonia de la Courtel~), may find and raise them. Alternatively, she may give the baskets to Aurianna, the Angeni of Motherhood (Lady Aria Starstone).
Plots:
Will-o'-the-Wisp: She will guide any trespassers out of her forest; whether or not their destination is safe is not her concern.

Nicknames: Lyra
Breed: Mutant Regular
Personality: Diplomatic; currently taking up work as a mercenary.

Treatment of Children: She will raise them to the best of her ability. They will be raised to know her family, the Starks.

Personality: A dark heart that is more interested in tormenting herself than others.

Name: Mayu
Nicknames: None
Breed: Mutant Draft Flutter Soquili
Personality: A skittish and mistrusting soul after her time in the Pit. However, she is able to become a capable, if not a little gruff, protector with the help of her friends.
Looking For: Anything.
Breeding Status: She is in an open relationship with Angra Mainyu (Bluedemonwolf), Bastion (Bluedemonwolf), and "Healer of the Damned" Amund (Bluedemonwolf).
Treatment of Children: She will raise them to the best of her ability. If the other parent will not be a primary caretaker with her, she will take them to her poly group.
Plots:
Name: Nashide Namae
Nicknames: Bitey, B. Occasionally called Chomper, Toothy, and so forth.
Breed: Mutant Draft Regular
Personality: Sweet and open-minded. She is a loving creature and enjoys physical displays of affection, such as cuddling or kissing, though the actions are platonic. Collecting shiny or glowing objects is a hobby of hers, and her habit of chewing them often leaves them marred. The prejudices she's faced because of her mouth have made it so that she feels a strong emotional attachment to things that bear the mark of her teeth, in the sense that she is struck by anxiety when separated from them.
Currently: An accident resulted in her scarring Dragoona (techabyte), and she feels attached to the mare as a result. Bitey believes it to be love and stays close to her, though Dragoona considers her a pet.
Looking For: Friends and family.
Breeding Status: Bitey loves freely and openly; she does not believe affection is a finite thing and would be comfortable with any manner and number of partner(s) so long as she, and those she holds dear, are loved in return. Her experiences with Dragoona and Legion (who will attempt to steal their baskets) will make her wary, but she will overcome that. In the end, she will become life partners with SkullKandy, though she will be open to other relationships.
Treatment of Children: Level of commitment will vary based on her partner and what extended family the child may have; however, she will be a part of her children's lives, and will make up for any lack if the father chooses not to be with them. As a personal preference, I would like it if, in situations where she has low commitment, her children did not dislike her because she isn't around all the time (unless supported by a plot; alternatively, she can be disliked for another reason). She would have been open about her character and her intentions, and would not breed with a father that was uncomfortable with that. Thus, it's unlikely that the environment the children grow up in with would vilify her choices. (It's one thing if the parent abandoned their offspring, but in this instance, both parents would have consented to the amount of commitment towards their children, and Bitey would not have agreed to being low committed on her end if she felt the father did not have enough resources or herd support to care for the children himself.)
Plots:
Family: Interaction with others in her family, immediate and extended.
Comforting Touch: Looking for a friend for her, platonic or otherwise, who enjoys displays of physical affection as well.
Making Amends: Bitey used to steal as a child; not out of malicious intent, but because she perceived certain items as friends that needed to be saved. Although she tried to make what reparations she could, she was unable to find all of her victims, much less remember them. Perhaps they'll find her instead?

Nicknames: None
Breed: Mutant Kelpi-Angeni-Ulun'suti Hyperbreed
Personality: New to the Kawani lands and feeling isolated. Her homeland was rife with political moves and betrayals, leaving her slow to trust.
Looking For: Anything
Breeding Status: Restricted
Treatment of Children: She will raise them to the best of her ability.
Plots:
Name: Rán
Nicknames: None
Breed: Mutant Unicorn-Hippogryph-Angeni Hyperbreed
Personality: Impulsive and a little heedless. Rán was born with prodigious skill and has come to expect that everything in life will be presented to her on a platter. This view can make her seem haughty, or dismissive of others' hardships, but she means well.
Breeding Status: Restricted
Breeding Conditions: Daughters will be taken to be raised in the Code of Edda. Sons may stay with their fathers if the father expresses interest and appears capable. She will only breed if the father is comfortable with those terms and agrees to them in advance.
Treatment of Children: The children will either be raised communally by the herd or, for sons, by their father. In either case, she will not play a significant role in their lives.
Plots:
Follow the Leader: Rán loves to take the reins, and she'll lead any band of danger-loving adventurers she can find.
Name: Rouxe
Nicknames: Ro
Breed: Hippogryph-Unicorn Crossbreed
Personality: Fallen from grace and no longer a member of her birth-herd, Rouxe has taken to wandering the Kawani lands without purpose. Despite her loss, she remains as composed and cutting as ever. She enjoys not the company of others, though she will tolerate it if there is something to be gained. The only exception is Weed, her familiar, who leads her safely through the lands with the sound of his bells.
Looking For: Anything.
Breeding Status: In-character, she is part kalona and would prefer that to offset her unicorn blood and produce Hippo'lona children. She's also of the opinion that eyes hold power, and would favor those with glowing or otherwise strange eyes. However, she is not limited to individuals displaying those characteristics; overall, she is merely looking for markers that signify the individual's strength, and she can be convinced of it through other means.
Breeding Conditions: Daughters will be taken to be raised in the Code of Edda. Sons may stay with their fathers if the father expresses interest and appears capable. She will only breed if the father is comfortable with those terms and agrees to them in advance.
Treatment of Children: The children will either be raised communally by the herd or, for sons, by their father. If they are part of the herd and appear to be failing, she will attempt to help and offer support; otherwise, she will not play a significant role in their lives.
Plots:
The Art of Entertainment: Finally coming to terms with her inability to kill, Rouxe is instead turning her skills towards being a stuntwoman for the plays her herd puts on. She is proud and asking for help will not come easy to her, but she is eager to learn the tricks of the trade.
Name: Reaver Sinclair
Nicknames: Reave
Breed: Mutant Kalona-Angeni Crossbreed
Personality: Courteous and gracious; her messages and body language are delivered with such control that few misinterpret her meaning.
Looking For: Anything.
Breeding Status: Open
Breeding Conditions: Daughters will be taken to be raised in the Code of Edda. Sons may stay with their fathers if the father expresses interest and appears capable. She will only breed if the father is comfortable with those terms and agrees to them in advance.
Treatment of Children: The children will either be raised communally by the herd or, for sons, by their father. In either case, she will not play a significant role in their lives.

Personality: Studious of the arts; she is deeply invested in storytelling and the part she can play in it.

Plots:
Guiding Light: Lost in a forest? Navigating mysterious catacombs? Whatever it is, Bass would be happy to escort you... even if he may not exactly know the way.
Abandonment Issues: Bass' mother never said anything ill of his father. As such, though his opinion leans towards the negative, it is largely neutral. I'd like to change that! For this plot, I'm looking for anything that'll stoke the flames and cause him to become more bitter.
Breaking In: For a future plot, I need Bass' will to crumble and his self-respect to shatter. Like the above, this plot is pretty open in that any number of scenarios can work, whether it be with multiple individuals or just one. He later escaped with "Healer of the Damned" Amund (Bluedemonwolf) and had a child with her, named "Bringer of Plagues" Morana (Bluedemonwolf). However, Amund was taken captive by Lux. He found solace with an old friend, Nsia (Yushika), and they are raising Morana together.

Towards those he dislikes, however, he is very much a killer.
Currently: In search of his lost love, Sophia Rose. If your soquili knows nothing about her, he likely won't be interested, so it'll be difficult to obtains RPs with him. Please note that he is a very aggressive individual towards those that grate him, and a skilled fighter as well. As a result I'd prefer interactions with him be planned for in advance.

A pacifist at heart, though he's learned the importance, and even necessity, of self-defense. As of late a number of stresses have been hammering him which has led him to be particularly violent during the kalona invasion, a fact which still burdens him today.

Plots:
Mistakes of the Past: A number of factors stressed Jin during the time of the Kalona War, leading him to be particularly aggressive against the invading kalona. He had fought because he had to, but there had been times where he'd purposely instigated a battle that could have been avoided. It seemed natural then, but by the war's end he realized it went against his ideals, and the unnecessary pain he'd caused burdens him still. For this plot, I'd like someone who can relate to his experience and help him heal.
Home Is Where the Heart Is: This plot is pretty open; the only thing I'm looking for is the end result: I'd like Jin to settle down. If his would-be mate is in a herd, he would be open to joining. I could see him teaching self-defense as well, if need be.

Personality: Lazarus seems at first a self-assured creature, but it is little more than a guise he wears to cloak his craven nature. Though he is more kind than he is cruel, his cowardice tilts him towards a darker path. His time with his ex-lover, Mest (xxx Yuki Bear xxx), has softened him, but their relationship was built on a foundation of lies, and ultimately fell. Losing the protection of his lover, Lazarus sought instead to raise loyal minions—ones who'd never forsake him.
Looking For: Evil or chaotic influences.
Breeding Status: Lazarus breeds only to produce minions whose upbringings he can control. Occasionally, he will breed for pleasure, but it won't be common. He was sick as a foal, and the effects are lasting. He will never be as strong as other individuals, and mares that look for physical strength will find him lacking. However, he makes up for this with mental capability.
Treatment of Children: Lazarus will choose one or two children to focus on; the mother may do what she wishes with the others. They will be raised to be strong, obedient, and loyal. To be clear, he will not abuse them or hurt them intentionally; he favors controlled and balanced use of positive reinforcement to encourage the children to want to work for him. He will be invested in their well-being, but will not love them as a father.
Plots:
Revelation: A kalona herd killed his parents while he was still a foal (click his cert to be taken to his journal post with the full details). One of the kalona from the herd recognizes him and, instead of killing him, thinks it'd be better to turn him more kalona-like as an insult to his parents. This character in question would eventually reveal his parent's past, but by then, Lazarus would be on the kalonas' side.
