Game Overview

If you've played Mafia before, welcome back! And to the new players who are playing, please read the first page carefully! All of the rules and roles will be listed below. If you have any questions please PM Skanknote and we will answer all of your questions!
Basically this is a game of survival, there are killers and citizens (some with and some without special powers) The goal is to be the last ones standing. Every round is 24 hours. Once per round everyone votes off who they think the killer is. The person voted off goes to jail and the killer’s victim dies (unless the killer is sent to jail, or their victim is saved by the angel). This is repeated every round until either of the two winning conditions is met: xxx-- The citizens win by successfully voting out all the killers. xxx-- The killers win by successfully killing off all citizens. The prize money is split between whoever wins. Alliances can be useful in this game, you should start talking to people in the thread and through PM's and come up with some kind of game plan for voting. Please review the game rules and the different special roles available on post 3. In post 4 is the application form to play the game. Please also note that all of your PM's for the game should be sent only to Skanknote.

-- Screenshots of any kind are not allowed in this game, whether it is onsite or offsite. Also no forwarding of any PMs the Host may send you. This also goes for quoting messages that have been sent to you be the Host. It only takes a minute to fake a quote, and 5 minutes to fake a screenshot, so either way it’s not worth getting disqualified for sharing them. If you or anyone is caught sharing screenshots you will be immediately disqualified.
-- Skype and Tiny Chat are allowed for alliances but under no circumstances are you allowed to impersonate any of the Hosts.
-- Mules cannot be used without authorization from the Host. To play this game on a Mule you must ask the Host’s permission before posting your application. Mules are not to be used for two entries into the game or to send PMs to other players; in doing so you will find yourself immediately disqualified.
-- Once a vote is cast it cannot be retracted or altered in any way. If you are caught doing this you will be disqualified. Make sure to put some thought into each action you put into the game.
-- No matter what your role is, please title your PM's to me accordingly (questions, killings, angel protections, etc). Only use the format in the post above to submit your votes. If you don't use it, it will be counted as missing a turn!
-- If you miss more than one round of voting you will be disqualified.
-- Anonymous gifts are allowed and encouraged.
-- You cannot place a vote for yourself, for any reason.
-- Bribes are allowed between players only, do not attempt to bribe the Hosts or you will face disqualification. All bribe attempts must be made by PM to other players. The Hosts love to see game drama and behind the scenes schemes, if you you want, feel free to pm us with what's going on.
-- If there is a split vote, the last person jailed will be the deciding vote. The last jailed person will then have 2 hours after the round ends to break the tie or will forfeit their vote. The Hosts will then RNG for the tie breaker.
-- Any role besides from the killer may choose not to use their powers. If a killer does not submit a kill to me they will be disqualified and the killer will be reassigned by the Host next round.
-- Even if you are killed off or sent to jail you are still allowed to post and chat. There will be opportunities to get back in the game, so stay active and vigilant!
-- If you are confused on an issue and are not sure if something is allowed, please PM the Hosts for further clarification.

List of Roles and Sections
There are 3 sections that players can be in during game play.
Earth:
Earth is where everyone starts. When on Earth you must vote against the person you believe to be a killer to jail them. If you miss more than 1 vote you will be out and sent to Purgatory.
Hell:
This is where you go when you die. ;D No worries, there are revives that can be won and abilities used by Garrison Angels to revive people from the dead!
Purgatory:
This is where you go when you lose your soul. Losing your soul means there is no way for you to get back into the game! Sorry! D:
Depending on how many people join, additional roles may be added before the game starts.
Killers:
Lucifer (Warior Archangel)– Must choose a target player to die each round. But can spare their life once per game. This can be used to seem like an angel blocked their target for that round, or to frame the last person who was killed or voted out as the killer where now there was no death that round. If Lucifer kills 6 humans (Superhumans count towards this) he gains the ability to kill twice per round.
Michael (Warrior Archangel)- Must choose a target player to die each round. But can spare their life once per game. This can be used to seem like an angel blocked their target for that round, or to frame the last person who was killed or voted out as the killer where now there was no death that round. If Michael kills 6 special roles, he gains the ability to kill twice per round.
Dead Roles:
These Roles can only become activated if the person who has the role dies first.
The Four Horsemen
Death – Death Horseman is the killer from the dead. Once dead, Death can choose when to start killing the other players. Once Death has chosen his first target he must kill every round after. His kills can still be blocked by angel protections. Can only be stopped by Leviathan or the Angel Blade. If Death has his soul removed then all of the horse man lose their souls as well.
Famine – Once dead chooses any one person and forces them to use any and all abilities or cards that they have in their possession. If the user does not use all their abilities, super abilities and or cards all on the turn they are chosen, they will lose their souls and go to purgatory at the end of the round. If Famine happens to choose one of the other 3 horsemen, that player must choose to either use all their abilities/cards like normal or allow them to have famine kill them that round to activate their role. If Death loses their soul then they lose their soul as well and are out of the game.
Pestilence- Once dead can block any 1 vote per round after death. If Death loses their soul then they lose their soul as well and are out of the game.
War – Once dead War will chose any two players per round and force them to use their roles on each other. Cannot pair the same 2 people more than once. If Death loses their soul then they lose their soul as well and are out of the game.
To win as a Horseman: Death must successfully aid Michael and Lucifer in killing off all other roles aside from the active horsemen. If both Michael and Lucifer lose their souls Death cannot win. Active Horsemen can only win if Death wins. An inactive (or player alive on earth instead of in hell) can win as a regular citizen.
Demons:
Crossroads demon – Offers a contract to 1 other player at a time. The Crossroad's Demon will PM the Host and then the Host will then send a PM to their chosen player and offer them a choice to double their role or double their votes for that round. If the user accepts the contract they will get their double for that round and within 2 rounds the Crossroads demon will force that user to do their bidding with either their vote or role depending on what the user chose to double (has to be done within 2 rounds of the contract being made and can only force them to use their role/vote once with in that time). The user can decline any offer of a contract with the Crossroads Demon, but if the user who accepts the contract does not follow the Crossroads demons demands they will lose their soul that round and are placed in purgatory and cannot be brought back into the game.
Crowley - Detective to Michael the Archangel. Crowley will receive one clue per round to aid Hell in finding the meatsuit of Michael the Archangel. Has a second skin. If Crowley is targeted for death by a killer they cannot die the first time. Must be either be targeted twice in same round by two killers or attempted to be killed a second time in a different round by any killer in order to die.
Azazel the Yellow-eyed Demon – Must visit one person every other round. The person chosen is fed his blood and cannot be protected by any of the Garrison Angels that round and the following round.
The Angels:
Gabriel the Archangel (Trickster) – Every round he chooses two players and links them. If one of the players he chooses is targeted by any role or jailing the secondary person has that effect on them instead and vice versa. Cannot pair the same 2 people more than once. If Trickster dies or goes to jail they will be able to incriminate any person of their choosing for the following round. This means whoever they choose will have a clue made for them and sent to all detectives that round instead of the real clues for their killers.
Castiel- Detective to Lucifer. Castiel will receive one clue per round to aid Hell in finding the meatsuit of Lucifer. Has a second skin. If Castiel is targeted for death by a killer they cannot die the first time. Must be either be targeted twice in same round by two killers or attempted to be killed a second time in a different round by any killer in order to die.
Garrison Angels (3)– Two Garrison Angel’s chose one person each round to protect them from death. And the third Garrison Angel is capable of protecting one person each round from losing their soul. (Can come in handy if allied with someone who has made a contract with the Crossroads Demon and doesn’t want to fulfill their contract.) Each Garrison Angel can freely sacrifice their special role in exchange for saving 1 player from Hell bringing them back to life and back in the game (This can only be done once per game by a Garrison Angel and will lose their ability to protect others after it is used. If you send in a pm to save someone you cannot use your revive the same round unless you have majority vote against you to go to jail for that round). Garrison Angels are selfless creatures they cannot protect themselves from death or protect the same person for two consecutive rounds.
Creatures:
A Leviathan– Consumer of powerful beings. In search of Michael, Lucifer, and Death wants to devour their power and send them to purgatory. Cannot be killed by killers, can only be jailed. Every other round The Leviathan will pm the Hosts and confirms if the player of their choosing is Michael, Lucifer or death. If Leviathan finds one of the 3 he immediately consumes them and that round they will be forced into purgatory. If a killer is consumed, Leviathan must wait an additional round before continuing to search out the other killers.
Atropos The Fate – Is sick of Fate being manipulated by humans. Atropos cuts the thread of life when their length has run out. By cutting the thread, life is ended. In attempts to fix what was meant to be, Atropos has 2 abilities that can help her put fate back on track. 1) She can choose to change the outcome of an end vote and make the person who was meant to be jailed die instead. 2) If Atropos does not like the outcome of a vote, she can choose to freeze time and stop that person from being jailed. Each ability can only be used once in the entire length of the game.
Super Humans:
The Cursed Man – Wants to try to get a killer to kill him. He is in agony and he wants to die to stop the agony he feels. If he reveals in thread that he is the cursed man he will lose his soul for that round and will go to purgatory, permanently out of the game and cannot be revived. If the Cursed Man is not killed within 5 rounds he will lose his soul and go to purgatory anyways. If Lucifer or Michael kills the cursed man they will bring upon a curse on themselves and must either win the game within 5 rounds or lose their soul and go to purgatory. If someone has a kill card and kills the Cursed Man they will be inflicted with this curse as well. If the Cursed Man successfully gets himself killed within 5 rounds he will still be able to vote from the dead but only through PM with the hosts. The Cursed Man can only win if town wins in the end without any killers in the winner’s circle. If the Cursed Man successfully curses Michael or Lucifer and the get sent to purgatory because of the curse, the Cursed Man will Receive a guaranteed 10mil regardless of the results of the game.
The Seer – Will always know if they are a target of any role. If they visited will be told what role has targeted them not who the player is.
Charlie the Mastermind – This role will be assigned to the first person who sends in a list and correctly identifies the correct roles of roughly 75% of all players in the game. (Percentage may change depending on how many players join the game.) Players can submit only one list per game. Once someone gains this role, it cannot be gained by anyone else in the game. Charlie the Mastermind will be able to submit a name of the user they wish to confirm the role of once per round. If Charlie the Mastermind is in the winner’s circle and submits a completed list at the end of the game with every role in the game correctly matching each player they will have their own winnings doubled.
Hunters (Humans):
Have no special abilities. Must vote once per round in who they think the killers are.
