After their free-fall from the office would land them in the residential district, Lucfier then immediately leaped from the pair in the event of a counter-strike. "Well...that was fun, eh? I think we could stand to fall every once in a while...helps get the heart rate going." He leaned back against the conveniently placed building behind him, making sure enough that their intentions weren't to pummel the piss out of him at any given moment. "But it's good and well that we decided to be a squad, but...what is our mission?" That was a pretty easily answered question; since the village's current agenda was the expansion of their territory in order to accommodate an equally increasing population, they would need to go out and seize land from the barbarians. It wasn't really a question they needed to answer; just a conversational formality at best.
"So...since we all pretty much know the answer to that question, there are three barbarian territories near us, according to the most updated reports from our border patrols." It was a complete 180; the soulless flirt ending up to be one the 10%--a very GENEROUS estimate--of people in the village who actually bothered to read the field reports? Interesting. "Based on the field report, the concentration of barbarian forces in the lands to the southeast is the lowest, meaning that an inland expansion would surely be the easiest route, and a quick expansion." It was at this point that he paused. That wasn't enough. "However...we have reaped a hearty bounty from being a coastal establishment until now, and I have no doubt that the aquatic resources across the coast are varied and potent. We have a high population of Water-release practitioners, and a coastal expansion would--in my opinion--benefit us more than an inland one."
This was one thing that would stand out particularly well with these Genin; they were born into an era of war. They were raised in war, and as such, tactics of expansion, strategy, and combat were already ingrained in their brains almost from birth. For some, it even went so far as to breed a thorough, intrinsic understanding of what it means to build an army, and empire. The spark of power and conquest shined brightly within Lucifer for all the world to see. But how would they react to this sudden change in demeanor? Someone who they'd been introduced to as a shameless flirt, suddenly spouting all his knowledge? How odd.

They cannot fly, but instead as stated, hover a few feet off the ground. [Bloodline] - [This for That] The Walker can shift their own stats, moving 2 points from one stat to another. For example, if the Walker moves 1 point to speed, he loses 1 point of strength. This can be swapped in battle, but has a 2 post cooldown every time it is done. [Class] - [PHYSICAL TOUGHNESS] -- The Taijutsu class not only teaches you to ignore pain, but can also make you immune to damage from weak attacks, based on your rank, making you almost immune to damage 2 ranks below you:

Flipping his body slightly in mid fall, Nobuyuki landed flat on his feet; causing a small crack in the cement he landed on from the height. Brushing the imaginary dust from his shoulders the Uzukage turned to look at Lucifer, his single amber eye boring into the boy as he thought on how to respond to his seemingly carefree attitude when it comes to what could basically be considered attack his Kage. Not that Nobuyuki really cared considering he could most likely fend the boy off with one hand behind his back quite easily. Noticing the slight tenseness and alert look in his eyes the black-haired male let out a soft chuckle before speaking in response to his question about their mission. "As of right now our main focus is to expand our villages territory. Be it through negotiation with barbarians or just conquering the area we need to expand. However seeing as you already know that I'll narrow down the mission parameters for you a bit. First we'll be conquering the coastal barbarian settlements, since that will allow us to expand our food production through fishing since as of right now that's our best income of food for the civilians and Shinobi. It will also allow us to do things like harvest pearls to trade or even just give us the edge when it comes to naval combat. Though as of right now that doesn't benefit us too much since we've yet to see a group of Barbarians come from the sea."
Reaching up to scratch his chin for a moment in thought he looked at Sumiko, taking in the way she responded to his statement through her muscle responses and facial responses. However his "words of wisdom' weren't done yet, and with that in mind he began speaking again. "However that's not where our mission ends. First we'll attack the Coastal settlements, then we'll return here to Uzushiogakure and have our lower ranked Ninja protect construction crew members as they work on creating small strongholds for our ninja to work out of to protect said strongholds and settlements from further Barbarian attacks. Once we do that however we'll be moving out to take the overland expansions as well, that is assuming you both will be able to handle that much combat and movement at once since we'll be covering a lot of distance with our travels. For right now it will be up to us to take over the expansions since Masato and his squad won't be strong enough to take them on themselves, leaving only us more experience Shinobi to do the hard work. The future of this village relies on the Genin becoming stronger through constant training and gaining experience through spars and small skirmishes." With that said he crossed his arms over his chest, waiting quietly for the two to respond in kind to his words since he knew already Sumiko would have a response towards him. Due to his lack of true information on Lucifer it would be hard to tell if he would respond like her.

Hearing his battle plan confirmed gave Lucifer a slight ping of pride. Though he didn't show it, it was always nice to be recognized every once in a while for your contributions; lord knows that during the Clan Wars, there wasn't really much time for recognition. "I'm alright with going where we need to, Lord Uzukage. I don't really have that much to in the village right now, so I'll just pack up some rations. Other than that, I'm ready to go whenever you are." Lucifer's home happened to be in the residential district--he was orphaned during the attacks, so he currently lived on his own in one of the smaller homes inside the residential district. It was a matter of about fifteen seconds for him to run inside, grab his things, and emerge with a small pack at his side. Just enough for a small amount of rations. He made sure to keep his composure, though; after the moment he'd had with Sumiko--that being the rather shameless flirting--he didn't want to seem like a gloat from being happy about his acknowledgement.
"Alright, I have my things. Like I said before, I'm ready to head out whenever you are." After that, Lucifer would simply wait for the two to reach an accord. He assumed Sumiko to be mature enough to handle the way the conversation progressed, but he also knew that some people weren't happy with their ideas being put on the backburner. It was a hard pill for some to swallow.

Sumiko had grown rather accustomed to Nobuyuki doing things his own way. It bothered her little that he had barely taken her recommendation under advisement. More then once she had advised him to do one thing or another during the Clan Wars to simply be ignored or for him to do something else. He would probably have less scars and broken bones if he had listened to her just a little more. Instead of pressing the issue, she smiled and nodded her agreement. "Sounds like a plan. Just give me a few minutes to gather some supplies for the trip. It would do well for you to actually let the village staff know that you are leaving for a while too." She gave him a stern look, informing him that she wasn't going to take no for an answer. It was a look he had seen more then once, and knew better than to test.
She walked the opposite way that Lucifer had gone, heading down a number of backstreets and alleyways. Her own home was modest by most standards. A small, third floor apartment with only one large room. Sparse decorations adorned the walls with a small table in the middle and a bed roll in the corner. She made her way past them to a closet up against the far wall, sliding it open. All manner of small weapons and equipment hung on the wall and lay on the ground. Sumiko grabbed a small pack, dumping a few rations into the bottom before putting a small tent on top, filling the side pockets with kunai and wire. She zipped the pack up, putting it by the door before returning to the closet, grabbing a plain grey vest, slipping it on over her clothes. The vest was covered in nicks and tears, having been damaged and repaired numerous times. A small holster was tied to her leg, completing her preparations. Glancing at the room one last time, she picked up her bag and returned to meet the others.

Nodding his head quietly to the two as they left to go grab their things before they left on their little excursion to exterminate the Barbarians from the surrounding area. Chuckling slightly at the fact that they had to actually go retrieve their survival packs Nobuyuki leaned back against the same building as Lucifer was beforehand. One of the wonders of learning minor sealing was the fact that he constantly had his survival pack sealed away in a small nearly invisible seal on his wrist. That way he was always prepared for missions like this where they would be away on a mission for a decently long period of time. When they finally returned with their packs Nobuyuki nodded his head at them, indicating that he himself was ready to go on the mission. With that in mind he turned on his heel before walking towards the gate, one hand in his pocket as he did so. "--"--

Following Nobuyuki's lead, Lucifer would head towards the gates. Because of the village's peculiar defense system, exiting by any other means was an incredibly dangerous feat to pull off, for sure. This would be a good test of his abilities, to see if the training he'd undergone since the clan wars had really given him anything of value. Would this be another scenario where he just lost more people who were precious to him? Or would he be able to protect what was important to him with his own two hands this time?
