Name: Ul'Naga
Alias: Bird Hitler The Purifier
Portfolio: Purification and Cleansing
Element: Holy Fire
Description: Ul'Naga's avatar is primarily that of a titanic avian creature, and is believed to be the foundation for the legend of the Phoenix over the millenia. Bearing a striking resemblance to an eagle in head and wings, the difference lies that its body is actually curled up and hidden by three enormous wings that serve as a cloak when it lowers its legs. While bundled up it resembles an eagle, but when stretched out it has the arms, legs, and torso of a well toned human male made of white and blue flames, the wings of which are his cloak, wearing a golden set of armored leggings that bear ancient scrollwork of an alien era.
Personality:
tab • Purist → Ul'Naga does not deal well with things he deems as impure, and in many cases will destroy those that meet such descriptions. This only seems to occur when coming into physical contact, however, and until such contact occurs he is known to be peaceful, kind, and understanding to those who bear such afflictions. Anyone who is different than what he envisions to be perfection is seen as Impure, and is judged by those standards. To date no one knows just what those standards truly are, as there has been no definitive statements made to define it.
tab • Righteous → While others may down the sincerity of a good act none may doubt Ul'Naga's righteousness, for every act he takes is in pursuit of a greater good. While the desire to be pure is both a personal and impersonal desire the desire to do what is right pushes Ul'Naga and his disciples to always take action, to stand against the impure and the evil lest their actions decimate the world. So sure is he in his path that Ul'Naga is blind to the realities of his actions, often accomplishing horrific deeds in the name of some greater good that only he seems to understand or know, causing many to fear when the Purifier visits their lands.
tab • Merciful → Being impure is an unavoidable experience for all that live and breathe in the mortal plane. As such Ul'Naga is forced to understand that none but he are born until the mortal realm pure, but they may ascend to it through hard work, conviction, and a dedication to a righteous life, often by following his precepts. As such, Ul'Naga offers purity and cleansing to those who have done wrong and sinned, who truthfully want to make up for the crimes of their past and to shine a light on the future. So dedicated is he that Ul'Naga will rarely question their sincerity, for words are poor bonds, and only actions speak louder than the dearest oath.
tab • Unforgiving → 'Your word is your bond,' says the great Purifier, and so does he hold others to this immaculate standard. To stumble down one's path is not only understood, but expected, yet to turn your back on the Path of Purity is to forever turn your face towards the legion of the Impure. Ul'Naga, as merciful as he is, does not allow those who betray their oaths to their bond to make a second attempt. To betray one's oaths to the Purifier is to sign a warrant for one's life.
Totem: Cleanse
tab Requirements: Totems through good deeds, and through the use of techniques and abilities to destroy Fades and the Dead. Both are considered Impure. Destruction of these grants one [1] Totem Point per Experience Rank the target bore, and good deeds are matched by the rank their mission bears.
tab Abilities:
      • Corruption Resistance → Ul'Naga is the Purifier for a reason. As a source of purity Corruption hisses and burns at the light released by the mighty spirit. Those who host his powers through contract receive a level of purity, making it difficult for Corruption to stick. As such, per two [2] experience ranks the character is granted a one [1] point reduction to anything that would bestow Corruption, to a minimum of zero [0].

tab Totem Techniques:
Harken
Rank: C
Totem Count: 5 Points
Description: Harken is the hallmark of Ul'Naga's contractors, and serves as the most fearsome ability against those who utilize corruption as a power source. Harken serves as the template for the trainings Uchiha use to learn their Fire augments, and is itself an augment. By paying the Totem cost the next attack, no matter the source, gains the effects of Harken, shearing their impurity in pieces and, if cleansed, transforms former enemies into temporary allies before they return to Death.
Effect: Paying the Totem Cost activates Harken upon the next technique or attack used. It is enriched with Purifying Flames, a blue-white fire that seethes with holy righteousness. When someone with Corruption is struck, whether alive or dead, the damage of the technique is one [1] rank higher per twenty [20] corruption the character has. This utilizes the average number between all three [3] types. If this attack strikes, it sears away three [3] Corruption from all sources on the target. If this attack kills the target, or reduces their Corruption to zero [0], the creature is cleansed spiritually, physically, and mentally. If an NPC or monster, the creature will become thankful for the purity, and thus become a temporary ally to the user for two [2] posts per damage rank increase from the above stipulations. Once the time has passed the spirit may be bartered with for contracts, but will otherwise leave for the afterlife at that time.

Contract Bylaws:
tab Agreements:
      • Thou Shalt Not Kill Needlessly → To murder without just cause it tantamount to murder, and will result in the breaking of the contract. This must be done knowingly, and while learning later than a death was wanton and without just cause will not break the pact it will require an atonement of equal value to the results of the misdeed.
      • Thou Shalt Not Drink in Excess → Drinking can be done in many scenarios for the greater good, including to make friends and to lull enemies. That said, losing control of one's own actions can result in impure actions, and as such is forbidden unless permission is given from Ul'Naga directly first, and a pre-penance paid. Any actions taken after choosing to be inebriated will count as a crime the signer knowingly committed.
      • Thou Shalt Not Waste → The world is a wasteland, and supplies are few in number. Do not waste that which you attain, and better, give the excess where you can. You are blessed by Ul'Naga, and you will want for naught under his guidance.
      • Thou Shalt Better Thyself → Always strive to be pure in your actions. Do not lie, do not cheat, and do not steal. If such actions are required for an action to take place for the greater good either penance must be paid prior to the occurrence or sought immediately at the closest opportunity.
      • Thou Shalt Bear No Corruption → Corruption is impure. To be Corrupted is to be Impure, Unclean, and Despised. While corrupted there shall be no blessings until a Cleansing occurs, and the spirit is Pure once more.
tab Punishments:
      • While Corrupted the Totems cannot be utilized.
