Silver Willow Bell Herd
After Adelle finally returned home to Shihab, Shihab knew that he needed to keep his mate from dwelling on her feeling like a failure due to their daughter Neva. Neva being a cursed batwalker who has been intent on destroying the family even before she was cursed. This child of theirs has caused Adelle many a breakdown and at one point the mare had tried to kill herself in her grief and sorrow.
So Shihab thought it best, to start a small herd, something to keep her busy, keep her mind off of Neva and be surrounded and protected by others when he was away traveling. He has no doubts that his daughter will try to attack their little herd, but he was willing to take the risk if it meant saving his mate mentally and emotionally. And so, the herd started, and it helped the mare start to recover a bit.
Two-leggers lived nearby, and they allowed them access to the herd grounds, and in exchange the two-leggers would make them things, baskets, hair jewels, etc. There were a couple of areas that are off-limits to the two-leggers and they generally respected those limits. Though the young ones had to be reminded gently from time to time, and there was almost always a small treat in case of a minor infraction like that.
And so, their herd grew from just the two of them, to more, and Adelle started to improve.
Almost everyone is accepted in the herd, regardless of what they look like or their origins. The only ones not allowed are skinwalkers for obvious reasons. Adelle believes in loving everyone, or at least being civil towards them and not judge them based on their apperances alone. So foals that grow up in the herd, will learn to judge based upon their insides and not their outsides. Many of them will still be taught the basics of defending themselves in case a Kalona...or even a wind attacked them.
They also will allow weary travelers a place to rest and freshen themselves before they start back up on their way.
Members of the herd are free to travel, but it's best to let the leaders or one of the protectors know where they might be traveling to and when they might be back so they can send out help if they haven't returned.

Personality; Adelle is a very loving and caring mare. She would rather spend time with her family then have time for herself. Winter is her favorite time of year especially seeing as the winters in Soquili lands are much calmer and more beautiful then the winters in the far north where she grew up. Her silver bells she has slowly given away to the special ones in her life. Somehow though more keep being replaced as if she was meant to wear them.
Minor Background; Adelle came from the snowy lands far up in the north. She had made her way to these lands some time after her caretaker was killed by northern wolves. When she arrived she had no idea how to fly and so was taught by Shihab. They soon fell in love and had a beautiful family together. Alas, things were not meant to be as her middle daughter Neva is set to destroy her and those around her. Over these last few years her mental state has become fragile, but she's trying to come back from her daughter's abuse and be strong once more.

Plots: Foal Adoptions She really needs to remember that she really truly is a good mother, and that how one child turned out doesn't make her a failure. Right now she thinks she's currently unable to have anymore children of her own[will happen eventually] so will adopt any foals or baskets.
Can I do this? She questions if she can even manage a herd, and keep it safe from Neva and other dangers.

Personality; Del'nal is a very random character. She can talk non-stop and likes to ask many questions. She is also quite oblivious to many things seeing as she pretty much lives in her own world.
Minor Background; No one is really sure what happened with Del, but it's like she's a young child trapped in an adult's body. She is oblivious to most things around her and is carefree. If it weren't for her loving mate who is protective of her, she probably would have been injured or worse so many times over the years. There are those rare days she tunes in and is uber serious but those are so few and far between.

Minor Background; Fun, carefree, and loving. These are the things that Lavanya is...or...was. She studied under Claude to become a Lady Knight so she can better protect her family after her sister was attacked by Neva. After having her heart torn out by a deer Soq, she grew depressed and left for awhile, only to eventually return home when rumors of Neva floating around came upon her ears.
She returned back to her family and is now helping to protect the Silver Willow Bell herd as one of it's knights. No longer is she the carefree mare she once was, but it's not gone entirely. It still hides deep within her, sleeping, waiting for the right time to emerge once more.

Personality; Confused about who she is and what she is. On a good day she's a fun mare to be with. Thoughtful and kind. On a not so good day, she falls into a depression, hating the mixed creature that she is and feels rejected by everyone.
Minor Background; Created as a mean to destroy others, Shula did just the opposite. Her grandmother/adoptive mother Adelle proved that love can be stronger then blood. When she was old enough to leave, she did, her confusion about who she was getting the best of her. She wanted to learn about her kalona side, but yet many kalona refused to acknowledge her and even attacked her because she was no pureblood. Non-kalonas automatically assumed that she was a killer because of the few kalona features she had. Shula felt incredibly alone in the world. At least until she met Tristian. Someone who didn't judge her on who her parents were, and has been working with her to help her move past her issues and realize that there are those that love her in the world.

Minor Background; Flavius arrived from another land, alone, save for the golden bells attached to his mane and tail. Yet, he never truly felt entirely alone. This was a new land to explore! Yet, as time went on, he started to despair that he would never find anyone to travel with, no one to share companionship. That is, until he came upon Esmerelda who is now the light of his eye. From then on he never was lonely again. Eventually they joined up with the Silver Willow Bell herd and he became trader for the herd. Quote: Neva here gets a whole post all to herself. Why? Because she's just got that many plots going on, that's why. Currently she's got two major plotlines in the works. One is an attack on the Flock, where she'll fail the attack and have to retreat. Once she's gotten over her embarrassment of her loss, she then begins to plan an attack on the Silver Willow Bell Herd, the herd run by her mother. One that she hopes will succeed much better then her attack on the flock. As far as plots, I need recruits for both battles. She's also open to anyone who needs a cursed skinwalker for their own plotlines. I will ask that anything involving Neva actually be rp'd because I am trying for elder for her and would like to have a variety of rp's to choose from when the time comes. **Sidenote**Neva does have an injured wing. It never healed properly from her first encounter with the harpies. So it does look a bit mangled, and she has been learning to fight without relying on her wing nearly as much. If she's not careful, and she re-injures it to much, it could completely snap her wing and make it completely useless, so please keep this in mind when requesting an rp. Personality; Rage. Hatred. Anger. These are the things that fill Neva's soul. The desire to destroy her family is what keeps her going. She will do whatever it takes to accomplish it. Stealing baskets and raising them in hopes of turning the baskets into killers, using others naivety about what she really is to her advantage, playing with their minds. These are the things she does. She much enjoys playing with her victim's minds the most. Toying with them. Tormenting them. Even if she doesn't physically injure them, the fact that she will always haunt them mentally and emotionally sends her into a sadistic thrill.
Minor Background; Neva. She used to be a sweet winged foal, but something corrupted her. The shadow spirit known as Anju came upon her one night, and started whispering evil things into her ear. She eventually fell prey to his ideals and started to despise her family. Her family could never understand what had happened to her, what had caused her to change so much. Neva would outright attack her family should they be caught unawares. Eventually she discovered the way to become a skinwalker, and she hasn't looked back since. There is no way her family can save her now. Much to her mother's despair.

Personality; Quiet. Reserved. Questioning. Mitra has never felt close to the others as she constantly questions the various traditions and beliefs the flock has. Most of the time she prefers to remain mute, something she has always done since she first came out of her basket.
Minor Background; Mitra is the oddball of the flock. She refuses to talk to anyone unless a special need arises. She does not believe in treating the males the way they do in the flock. There have been times where curious males wanted to do research on the flock and she "captured" them so they could infiltrate, and study the culture the flock is. After some time has gone by she will find a way for them to escape, unless they choose to stay in the flock for good. So far she has yet to be caught, but has had a couple of close encounters and always has to have a backup plan just in case. There are times it is helpful that everyone thinks of her as a mute because she can't be questioned nearly as hard as the others.
