It has been a while since we have seen the onslaught of murder's, hero's and outright village fools. So alas, we will put you to the test once again to find out if you have what it takes to win or to see if you will fall to the ashes in this brand new Mafia Game! This game will be based off of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series, so if you are familiar this game should go by a lot easier, if not go watch them!!!!!! The person/people that win will be given 500b gold to split among each of them. However it will not be an easy task for all of you to survive.
Game Overview!
If you have played any previous mafia game, then I would like to welcome you back for another game of HELL! If you are new, then hello there, I hope you find this game to be great and that you join future mafia games. You should read everything on the front page very carefully before you decide to sign up including the rules/roles.
Basically this is a game of survival and half truths. Some players have special abilities in the game that can change the outcome of the round. The goal is to survive every round. Every round is 24 hours. Once per round everyone votes to put a player in jail, majority vote wins. The person voted off goes to jail and the killer’s victim dies. This is repeated every round until either of the two winning conditions is met:
xxx-- When all Killers are out of the game. xxx-- If the Killers kill everyone off.
The prize money is split between whoever wins. Alliances can be useful in this game, you should start talking to people in the thread and through PM's and come up with some kind of game plan for voting. Please review the game rules (Post 2) and the different special roles (Post 4). Please also note that all of your PM's for the game should be sent only to Pandelic DJ or Shilshadu.

If you are dead, you cannot vote. All votes must be posted in this thread before the round ends in order for it to count. If you do not vote you get a strike, 2 strikes and you are disqualified for this game and cannot win.

-- You must follow Gaia's ToS.
-- Screenshots of any kind are not allowed in this game, whether it is onsite or offsite. Also no forwarding of any PMs the Host may send you. This also goes for quoting messages that have been sent to you be the Host. It only takes a minute to fake a quote, and 5 minutes to fake a screenshot, so either way it’s not worth getting disqualified for sharing them. If you or anyone is caught sharing screenshots you will be immediately disqualified.
-- Skype and Tiny Chat are allowed for alliances but under no circumstances are you allowed to impersonate any of the Hosts.
-- Mules cannot be used without authorization from the Host. To play this game on a Mule you must ask the Host’s permission before posting your application. Mules are not to be used for two entries into the game or to send PMs to other players; in doing so you will find yourself immediately disqualified.
-- If you have changed your name before the game starts, please notify the Hosts immediately. However do not change it in the middle of the game.
-- Once a vote is cast it cannot be retracted or altered in any way. If you are caught doing this you will be disqualified. Make sure to put some thought into each action you put into the game.
-- No matter what your role is, please title your PM's to me accordingly (questions, killings, angel protections, etc). Only use the format in the post above to submit your votes. If you don't use it, it will be counted as missing a turn!
-- If you miss more than one round of voting you will be disqualified.
-- Anonymous gifts are allowed and encouraged.
-- You cannot place a vote for yourself, for any reason.
-- Bribes are allowed between players only, do not attempt to bribe the Hosts or you will face disqualification. All bribe attempts must be made by PM to other players. The Hosts love to see game drama and behind the scenes schemes, if you you want, feel free to pm us with what's going on.
-- If there is a split vote, the last person jailed will be the deciding vote. The last jailed person will then have 2 hours after the round ends to break the tie or will forfeit their vote. The Hosts will then RNG for the tie breaker.
-- Any role besides from the killer may choose not to use their powers. If a killer does not submit a kill to me they will be disqualified and the killer will be reassigned by the Host next round.
-- Even if you are killed off or sent to jail you are still allowed to post and chat. There will be opportunities to get back in the game, so stay active and vigilant!
-- If you are confused on an issue and are not sure if something is allowed, please PM the Hosts for further clarification.
Killers: Saruman: A ruthless wizard using his powers do control his enemies. Each round Saruman has the ability to kill 2 players . If he kills Gollum and if gollum has a certain amount of rings, he can take the prize money himself.
Detectives: Gandalf: Wonderful peacekeeper of Middle Earth. Gandalf will receive a clue each round about Saruman. He has the ability to put a barrier(Jail Card) around one player, only once throughout the whole game, on who he thinks Saruman is. He will also have the ability to, ONLY ONCE, check who gets targeted in the game. Meaning you can ask the Hosts, ONLY ONCE, who will get targeted this round, and we will give you the name of one person that is targeted.
Angels: Glorfindel: Elflord of the house of princes. Each round Glorfindel has the ability to protect someone. He may not use his power on the same person the following round. If he chooses, he may revive someone back into the game. However he will then loose his powers for good.
Radagast: The Brown wizard, secluded himself to the wilds. Each round Radagast has the ability to protect someone. He may not use his power on the same person the following round. If he chooses, he may revive someone back into the game. However he will then loose his powers for good.
Beorn: Known as the Skin-changer. Earch round Beorn has the ability to protect someone. He may not use his power on the same person the following round. If he chooses, he may revive someone back into the game. However he will then loose his powers for good.
Galadriel: Lady of Lothlórien, one of the most beautiful elves. Galadriel has the ability to Revive someone. However after when she has revived someone she must wait two rounds to revive once more. If she decides to use her revive the following round, instead of waiting she will lose her powers for good.
Other Roles: Bilbo Baggins: Known as the Master Thief, each round Bilbo Baggins can use his power to copy a person's role. However he may not copy the same person's power for the rest of the game. (When using this role, you must submit two names. One, the person you wish to copy. And two, the person you wish to use the role on.)
Thranduil: King of the Elves of the Wood. Each round Thranduil has the ability to double a person's role. Can't use it on the same person the following round.
Elrond: Lord of Rivendell. Each round Elrond has the ability to block a person's role. Can't use it on the same person the following round.
Aragorn: Aragorn II, son of Arathorn. Each round Aragorn may ask about a certain person. This may only be asked in the form of a yes or no question. (Ex. Is Pandelic DJ a Killer?)
Celeborn: Husband of Galadriel. Each round Celeborn may check the role of a Dead/Banished player.
King of the Dead: A man once honorable, forever stuck in the world of the living till his debt is payed. King of the Dead may only be killed or jailed, any other ability will not work against him. However if he is "Killed" The king of the dead will have only one Revenge kill he/she may use during the game.
Frodo Baggins: Son of Drogo Baggins. Each round Frodo may send in two peoples names. They players chosen will be switched and whatever happens to one of them may effect the other. Example: Person a is targeted for a kill. Frodo Switches person A with Person B. At the end of the round Person B will be targeted and will die!
Boromir: Valiant warrior known in Gondor. Gondor has the ability to protect a person from everything but kills. Meaning no other roles will be used against the person. (Protection, Detective, etc.)
Samwise Gamgee: Mayor of the Shire. Each round Samwise Gamgee can ask if a certain player did anything for that round. (Used a role/item). They wont be told what was used however.
Ghân-buri-Ghân: Chief of the Drúedain. Ghân can choose one player every other round and their vote/role will not go through for that round. (1 Round Cooldown after use!)
Gimli: Son of Glóin, and a great warrior of middle earth. Gimli can use his powers to break someone out of prison, however he must wait two rounds before he can use his role again.
Gollum: Gollum master of deception, in his own wicked ways. This role will be a bit tricky to use but let me put it simple. Each round Gollum has the chance to steal a ring off of a player. Half of the players will have a fake ring but "Frodo Baggins" will be the only person to have the actual Ring. If they find Frodo's Ring, Gollum will be impervious to death throughout the whole game, however he/she may still be voted off. If at the end of the game Gollum hasn't found Frodo's ring, for every "Fake Ring" found, Gollum will win 5b.

Balrog This card has the ability to strip anyone's role, the role stripped will become a regular player. Note: The user of this card will not gain the role of the person he/she has stripped.
Smaug Turn in your card to the powerful Smaug, he will then kill any person that you choose.
Gwaihir With this card, you may call upon Gwaihir to take a player from jail, or to put one in.
The Arkenstone Mighty and powerful jewel. When used you may steal the power of any player you choose. Note: If you steal the power of a citizen, you too will become a citizen. Also DO NOT say, "I want to steal the killer's power," it must be a players name!
Phial of Galadriel When used, the Phial will protect you from everything. Death/Jailed/Other Powers.
