Rain continued to thunder down from the heavens in a torrential downpour that bore no end in sight. Clouds roiling above lit their interiors with flashes of electricity powerful enough to shatter mountains, yet they left the trio below to themselves for the moment. The silence of the temple had not been lost on them, and it was clear that something, at the very least, had once lived here and was no more. Silence was the soul inhabitant until now, the pitter patter of stone cracked from untold eons spilling moisture the only companion to the three.
Yet surprisingly in a hidden corner of the temple lied a being born out of pleasure. A being that craved what he could not have and once he achieved his desires he grew bored. It was said that at one point this being was the king of a long gone people. In a large room covered in gold and jewelry this being laid in a large and spacious bed with females of various sizes, shapes and races. Yet unlike them he was wide awake. Looking idly at the roof of his small palace he felt truly and utterly bored. The pleasures of life had grown stale. He needed something more yet the lands gave nothing of interesting for him to play with. Flipping a coin with odd runes scribed into it he mumbled to himself, "Heads II leave for adventure and tails I stay and have more pointless sex." He flipped but before he could find his answer he heard something. For the first time in longer than he could remember he had visitors! "Oh oh oh uuuh." He looked at the females on his bed and thought about what to do with them. "Ah ******** it." He decided as he jumped up from his bed. One of the females woke up from the sudden movement and looked at him with sleepy eyes. "Mmmmm. Tedd? Where are thou going? Come hither and give me more of your love..." Tedd smiled as he hastily put on pants and shoes. "Sorry, love. Adventure calls!" Without putting on a shirt, Tedd slapped a brick on the wall and watched as it opened slowly to reveal a small boy by the forge. He'd managed to get the old thing working again. Now Akuma would in fact see seemingly out of nowhere a humanoid bear being coming out of the walls with a harem of women behind him and a room practically made of jewels and gold. "No need for this anymore." Tedd announced before snapping his fingers. The room would spin rapidly and disappear leaving behind just an empty hole in the wall. He'd transported his home to some random place in the world like always. Fate would always have him find it again or so it seemed.
"Greeting mate! I'd call you a nob jockey for crashin' my temple, but ******** man It's been so..." Tedd's excitement died down a little once he squinted his bear eyes at Akuma. "What in the bloody hell are you? A new species of Fade imp?" He asked now confused as to what was happening. He heard foot steps coming from upstairs. His ears perked and Tedd gave Akuma a worried expression. "Uh...You got any mates around with you? Cause I don't think they're gonna like what they find at the top of the temple haha..." He laughed but his eyes continued to show worry.
The higher Eimdall got the harder he'd find it to breath. The same sensation someone would get from climbing a mountain. And there would be an odd rhythmic sound coming from the top. A series of bangs almost as if something were banging against a large gate. If the boy decided to proceed he would find just that. The key would be right there for him to take and open the gate. Perhaps the sight below him was worth it.
Nozomi gains 50 exp for reacting calmly and effectively while poisoned so proud you go girl proud of you. Maybe if she joined Akuma and his new friend the bear man would be able to help her with her problem even further.

Eimdall Nygma ~~~~~~~~~~~
Climbing the first 3 flights of stairs was a breeze for young Eimdall, he had even began to get accustomed to the silence of the temple. The rain pelting against the rotting walls was a bit soothing even. However, upon reaching the fourth floor, Eimdall would notice a sudden thickness in the air. Nothing that would affect him in a major way at first, but slight enough for him to begin panicking. He thought to himself, “the temple was definitely not that high”, but he had no idea how far above sea level he, nor this temple were. To make things worse... there was a surge of sound, beginning like a light drumming and increasing with every advancement he made toward the final set of steps.
Eimdall’s curiosity forced him up those last few steps where he would conveniently find a key. The shortness of breath was beginning to cloud his judgement as he stood before the gate. Being at high altitudes was nothing new to him with the nature of his business and his constant travels, but this was all too sudden. Just as soon as he would extend his arm to unlock the gate that emitted such strange sounds, he would pull back and grab his chest, struggling to breath air into his lungs. Eimdall would then stumble down the flight of stairs, stopping at the base of the fourth floor and taking a seat. Something told him to try and adjust to these strange breathing conditions before proceeding. Looking around the fourth floor room he tried to check for windows in the vast open room. He would prefer a view from the top but he also didn’t want to pass out from altitude sickness in this unfamiliar place. He would just have to compromise with a window on this level, if even possible. “”

It was working! It was- another harsh cough emitted from the young female as she groaned painfully. The smell had faded but she was still struggling to breathe. Was she poisoned after all? Slightly wheezing, she glanced to behind her and didn't see sign of that male that was asking if she was poisoned. He just disappeared or went back to the room. That jerk. He could've helped her breath by moving her shoulders and arms back to open her lungs more but nope. It was a method she had learned when she was in Kirigakure. A soft growl was heard between the small gag coughs. Humans. She hates the lot of them.
That wasn't true. There was some humans she had grown to love and care for. Deep friendships. Maybe one was more than a friendship. Why would Jack do this test to her? To show all humans weren't the same? Does it even matter!? As long she cared for Kirigakure, what was the point of this stupid forsaken test?! Shaking as she wiped her mouth with her thick now soak sleeve from the rain as she headed back inside to get her stuff and get away from the damn humans. And that was when.. she heard... a different voice? What? She didn't see anyone past her! Or was she coughing so hard that she missed a new stranger? Stumbled and struggling to see through her watery eyes, she made her way back to the forge. She couldn't see the man, right now was all she can see was blurriness. Her teeth had clenched so hard that her gums was bleeding in frustration. Forget them all. Who cares about the new stranger. She goes back to find her backpack and got out a sharp crystal shard. Her ears work just fine though while her eyes was betraying her. Luckily for her, she depended on her ears more than her eyes when underwater. He mentioned something about the man upstairs... she can even detect worry in his voice. And it seems they have invaded HIS place.
Despite her temporary anger and hatred with humans, she can't let any die if she could help it. Stumbling back to the forge with her bag in tow as she slipped the sharp crystal shard into the thick sleeve, the cold solid touch resting against her wrist, she cleared her throat to alert her presence and wiped the excessive saliva from her mouth once again. "Go." She said towards one of the males that came in with the other male, figuring that they must care for each other? Friends? Brothers? She had no idea they were strangers, just like the three of them. "I'll catch up when I can." She wasn't even sure if she would still be alive and breathing by then as she coughed once again, her arm going over her stomach as a desperate attempt to not have the stomach do more dry heaves. Those hurt like a ..... witch.

xxxAkuma watched the....bear.....thing, come out from the walls from a place that seemed a hell of a lot better than here and shoot him an accusatory sentence. However it wasn't really an accusation, more of a jibe at him. It only took really a few moment for Akuma to discern might type of personality this guy might have had, at least surface level, but Akuma was also trying to decide if he had taken a hell of a lot of drugs and this was all a part of the trip. Either way he wasn't particularly disturbed by it, his face keeping dead pan as the bear spoke well he reached into his bag.
Before giving a response to either of them Akuma brought out something that looked like a cigarette but definitely wasn't and lit it with a lighter, the cherry red ember glowing as he inhaled and kept the smoke in his lungs for quite a few seconds before releasing the smoke. If he was tripping then might as well.
"Look. I don't know either of these people, as far as I know I'm still human, and to you girl I really don't think this guys a threat. At least if he is he is playing around before getting to be threatening" Akuma said non chalantly, still keeping his sitting position. It could be noted that he had his hand resting on the hilt of his weapon but that was basically standard when it came to Akuma.
Dashing the ashes into the forge from his "cigarette" Akuma looked the bear man over up and down curiously. "Do you have a name? Mines Akuma" he asked with what might have been the closest amount of emotion in his voice showing a faint curiosity.

After that she would return to normal and continue to suffer the after effects of whatever had infected her throat. "Do not let the darkness in others dampen your shine, Love." He whispered before walking back towards Akuma.
Then Akuma spoke and lit up the Sprites curiosity. "A human?! You don't say...I've always had a fascination for your kind. Although the way you treated the world and its fauna upsets me. But I have to agree that your art and music were very special." The way Akuma spoke didn't sit too well with Tedd. The kid was bordering on the sociopath scale by the way he acted. Tedd would keep his eye on Akuma. "My name is Tedd! And you are all in luck. The world outside is wraught with peril these days. The Fades are really pushing back against us Sprites! I doubt you and your merry band of humans can survive on your own." The confidence in his voice was palpable. "Speaking of which we really should go and fetch the lad of yours that's heading upstairs. This rain is good for muffling our steps." Tedd gestured walking with his finger tips while talking.
Eimdall would find no luck with his search for windows.

Eimdall shook his head vigorously, as if this would help with his shortness of breath and mild dizziness. After a short break at the base of the steps, Eimdall would somewhat become acclimated to the breathing conditions that had suddenly engulfed the area. Collecting his wits he stood and scanned the room, disappointed with the severe lack of windows in this dreary temple. However, he knew that he needed to get a lay of the land and that the top floor definitely had a view of the surroundings. The last thing he wanted to do was begin a journey in a new world while traveling an unfavorable path.
“Up we go then you wuss ” Eimdall muttered to himself.
His ascension up the stairs was much easier this time but the air still seemed to get thicker with every step. What worried him now were the Jumanji drums that got louder and louder the closer he got to the doors. “Well we are in a temple” he thought to himself. “Maybe there are still monks that inhabit this place”. These many thoughts raced through his dizzied mind as he reached out and placed the key into the gates lock. Then suddenly as he turned the key and heard the unlocking of the mechanism, he had one final thought...... “why would they be locked inside with the key on this side of the gate?” The thin air had surely affected his mind, but his adrenaline began to surge as he realized what a foolish mistake he had made.

She had enough of his attitude and disrespect. "My name is-" A sudden woosh to her side had made her jump as she couldn't see who it was. Was it the butthead or - Then she heard the voice. Definitely not the same voice as silver haired male, whose name was apparently Akuma. Her body tensed as the cool feel of the crystal shard reminded her that it was there for her to use if needed. Then she felt a bit of pressure on her forehead and it was like woosh!
Nozomi's hand tighten on the doorframe to keep her balance as she bit her lower lip, her eyelids closed. This feeling... it reminded her when the waves crash onto the cliffs of the farm island that was once her home. It wasn't an ocean, but a large body of freshwater that was being turned in a storm. Rain pattered against the house as it hits the water. Winds howled and cried while the waves slammed onto the cliff. It was... the most blissful peaceful feeling she had ever felt. She had heard the whisper as she slowly opened her eyelids and was rather shocked to see .. a humanoid bear. Was he one of her?! No. Usually she can tell if there was another of her bloodline around her. Then he started to talk... nonsense. Sprites? Fade? What the-
Another fit of cough as she sighed. Still in her damped clothes, Nozomi... wasn't sure what to think about all of this. What was Jack playing at? Her throat still burned. Maybe from the vomiting earlier? Figures. Nozomi glanced at Akuma for a moment, her honey gold eyes was no longer warm as it was when they first met. It was now cold as the solid gold that many people were after. She lifted herself up from the doorway to follow Tedd, she might as well to try to figure out what's going on and help the other human being.

xxxAkuma didn't even blink at the stare he got, as it was literally what he expected. He knew the song and dance. He was blunt, to the point, and rarely took into consideration how people might feel. He was also extremely closed off which was why he had such a cold exterior, much harder to get a read on someone when all you had to work with was a blank canvas. The amount of ******** he gave whether she cared about him right now was very little though as there were more pressing issues obviously, like why a man bear was here and what was at the top of the temple.
"Yes, I am the soul cause of all the worlds mistreatment. All humans are exactly like me" Akuma said in a rather dry statement that could be called the closest thing to sarcasm he had to what the bear had said. Though this was followed by a short but courteous "Good to meet you Tedd. As much as I don't want to waste energy right now if it's to late and that guy is in trouble might as well see if we can save his a** before it's to late".
Akuma got off of his box he had been lounging on and went to stroll up the stairs at a leisure pace, hand still resting on his weapon as he wrenched the other mans daggers free from where he had placed them and ears open for sound. Who knows, maybe by the end of this he'd be off on his own again. At least he could use the bears pelt for a cloak if it went down that badly.

Tedd looked at the two and squinted his eyes in confusion. The male known as Akuma showed no regard for his companions safety earlier but suddenly grew worried with the one rising to the top of the tower. How intriguing the Bear King thought while he watched Akuma make his way over to the stairs. The top of the temple was a place Tedd dared not to go and the rain was definitely going to aid them in their travel. Tedd did not fear for his safety but the humans he met did not look or feel like the strongest to awaken. At least not for the moment. "Well as much as I would love to aid you in your quest to help your mate that is rising to the top of this desolate temple I must bid you all farewell. These lands do not show mercy very often. I will take it." He announced before heading towards the exit. Once he realized the woman was following him he stopped in his tracks. Such beauty was rare in his life. She had a fierce yet vulnerable aura around herself that made him go soft. It dawned on him that what gave her pleasures were not of sexual nature either. He assumed so. Most people he influenced were driven by the pleasures of sex. Yet she longed for a time long gone. A time that she would most likely never see again. Looking down at the girl he cupped her cheek with his right paw and said, "follow me and all the visions this world has to offer will be yours. But be warned you will also witness the monstrosities that wait to harm you. These are your people yes? Would it not be wiser to stay with your clan?" He asked.
Upon opening the door, Aimdell would be greeted by a healthy breath of fresh air and a strong breeze as the temple would fill itself just as his lungs did. The reason for the noise earlier wasn't quite apparent. It might have something to do with the large monster that was dead lying on its side or the being that sat on top of it and looked down at the scenery. "Hello Aimdell." The being would announce without looking down at him. His leg swinging slowly over the abyss beneath him. "Tell me. What do you desire the most in this world?" He asked before tilting his head backwards and looking at the human boy upside down. The being in question had a mask covering its face. In the middle of its chest was a gaping hole revealing the sky behind it. On the left side where a human's heart would be was a face. The face did the talking but not the gestures. "Perhaps I can give it to you?" He would jump down from the beast and appear in front of Aimdall as if a glitch within a game. It looked unnatural as if a frame was missing from the scene. "Power? No no no...You want much more than just power. You wish for something unattainable...Come with me and this world shall be your oyster..."
What would the three children of the crystals do? Would Akuma and Nozomi abandon Aimdall? Would they stay and Aimdall abandon them?
The first gust of wind hit Eimdall’s face, filling his lungs like a new born child. The young man wasn’t expecting there to be a roof on such an ancient temple. His head was tilted upwards as he was climbing, this left him looking toward the stars mesmerized by the night sky. However, his comfort would quickly be interrupted by an unexpected voice before him. Eimdall’s eyes darted down before his head could even move. His body was shaken with fear as his head followed slowly. The only thing he would hear was the initial question, beyond that his own thoughts would drown out this creatures words.
“Run, Run, Run, Run, RUN!” this same word echoed through his head as his eyes darted around the surrounding area. His eyes would be refocused, the moment that the masked being appeared before him. His words could now barely be heard over the sounds of Eimdall’s own thoughts. How had he covered such a large distance so fast? How could I escape someone who moved like this? This creature would notice the level calculation in Eimdall’s eyes, but would receive no answers. Truthfully the young man was too terrified to even force a word out. But in regards to the first question, Eimdall was no fool. Merchants rule number one: nothing in this life was free, and this new world proved to be just as cut throat as the one he was familiar with.
“I....I..” Was the only thing Eimdall managed to force out.

Seriously? Nozomi couldn't believe it. The silver haired male didn't show concern for her but when it came to the man upstairs, he did. No. Wait. She told herself. She closed her eyelids for a moment. They could be brothers or a very close friend. She never met them so it would made sense that she would had to earn their trust and vice versa. Be calm. The moment a furry paw touched her chin, she almost yanked away but decided to be still. She heard his words as her eyes had widen in surprise. H-Her clan!? They were still out there?! They were safe! Her heart leapt in joy. Her lips formed into a smile of joy and pure happiness...
And yet,
Not two seconds after that, it moved into a frown as her brows furrowed. "I.." She started as she glanced towards the male. Her eyes showing more anger than before as she gritted her teeth. "I have seen the evil of them..." Fathers disowning their own children. Children left to die. Blood and bodies littered across the villages. People burning the forest. Animals were not thank for their sacrificed so they could be fed. Waters were slowly becoming poisonous. So much more. Monsters. But then she remembered... a small voice. Her 12 year old self in the old times. 'I will prove you wrong about the humans!'
She smiled softly, albeit defeated. "I have seen the beauty and purity in them too." A little boy's laughter when Nozomi placed honey on his nose as a joke. Mother gratitude to Nozomi to make him laugh. They were happy and smiling, despite their village gone. His father and the love of her life was gone. Friendship. Hugs and care for another. To how far they would go for one another. Children's curosity of how to treat nature with respect and their excitement when they felt better. Measuring how fast their tree grow. "I promised I will protect them. That does not change now, no matter where I am." She said firmly as she took his paw into her own, "I wish you luck and well being." Removed herself, she started the long trek up the stairs, following the footprints of the hopefully, kinder stranger.

xxxAkuma noted how thin the air was getting the higher they climbed, though trying to hide his slightly labored breaths. When Aimdell came into view it only took a split second to see that he wasn't alone, and he wasn't exactly welcoming of the new comer. Just in appearance, stance, and the rest of the scene painted the picture to Akuma in only a few scant seconds. Perhaps judging books by their covers was a bad thing but it was what everyone did right? Going with their gut until proven otherwise. That was what he'd do.
A hand would come down on Aimdell's shoulder as Akuma inhaled his "cigarette" down to the end, letting the ashes fall free of his mouth as he pulled Aimdell behind him and took the lead face to face with the new figure. If the girl and bear paid attention as well they could be noted he actually took center place, putting as much of himself between them and the new comer.
Akuma let the smoke that was in his lungs slowly drift out of his mouth as he spoke to the new comer, whispy trails rolling up from the sides of his lips as his crimson eyes focused on whatever could be called the mans eyes. "I heard there was some kind of party going on up here, and you seem a hell of a lot more then what we've seen so far. Before you ask something of us though I have a question, where and or when are we?" Akuma asked letting the sentence trail off as the last of the smoke poured from his mouth. He made careful not to fully breath it on the mans face, as he didn't want to be THAT instigating, but still kept his gaze solid. Whatever was about to go down there wasn't much control they had over the situation, so the best they could do is just roll with whatever the hell came their way.

The being would release a soft chuckle of sorts at the human in front of him. "After all this time. I assumed your kind was...Different. this won't do." It stated with a bored expression in it's tone. The Fade was just about to lift it's arm for some to be determined purpose when someone new approached the two. Now this being was much more interesting. "Haha..." It chuckled again while contemplating the new comer by tapping it's fingers together. The eyes from the face looked over at Aimdall and then back at Akuma. "Yooou. You are different than this one. You do not fear that which you do not know haha..." It began slowly pacing around the two with its hands crossed behind it's back. The questions asked were boring to the being with a gaping hole in its body. "Haha so curious you humans. You truly are lost among these lands." While pacing behind, Aimdall the being would tap the boy's shoulder and whisper close your eyes. They see to much and fill your mind with worry and anxiety. The boy would find himself in a world devoid of any light. His vision turned to nothing but pitch black. Turning back his attention to, Akuma, the being smiled.
Akuma would feel a pain unlike any other. When the pain attracted his attention, the boy would notice the skin on his right arm sloshing off. All the way down to the white bone. Then his legs would go next. The being would watch and bend down at the fearless boy and ask. "Tell me, boy. What is it that you most desire?" It asked again. "I respect you very much. Showing fear is a foolish thing to do. But overconfidence tends to lead down a path without victory." The being chuckled again. "I'd also answer quickly. Bones can't speak."
Downstairs Tedd watched as the two humans left to go and aid their friend. He sighed ruffling his fur. He wanted to go help them but something keeping him from climbing the steps. He was unbelievably lazy and couldn't fathom having to walk all the way up. "Cheers." He said before leaving the temple in search for adventure.
