Chloe watched as her path was swallowed up by a sea of tentacles in her way. There didn't seem to be anyway through expect for a small opening near the floor which Chloe seriously doubted she could make. She wasn't exactly the most agile person in the world, in fact she considered herself mostly average. It didn't seem like Gwyn would be much help either. Her heart fully set on fighting the beasts, Chloe knew there wasn't gong to be anyway she could change her mind. So she choose to do the thing that really seemed like the most fun at the moment. Both sides refusing to make a move, Chloe keep her momentum going full speed in spite of the tentacles. There was no way she was going to let something as simple as dying stop her from doing something stupid. Making sure to pick up her speed as much as she could Chloe leaped and attempted to somersault under the two foot gap beneath the tentacles blocking her way. A wild grin plastered on her as she did so.

_______________The Narrator Whispers... ||

_______________The Madness of Blood and Shadows Whisper to Takira's Ears... ||
tab Pain isn't easy to ignore, especially when it's something eating your flesh.
tab The steel of your boots, the leather of your pants are nothing to the caustic chemical's embrace as it begins to rapidly eat through the material, reducing it to pockmarked tissue for all the good it did. Still, as you stand there, pain flashing through your body, the rest haze rips forward with a horrendous howl to form a miniature cyclone of red flakes just before your face before it, too, erupts onto your body. It's thick, disgusting, and tastes like a mouthful of pennies.
tab How will the queen of mercenaries handle this one?

_______________The Glory of Life Sings to Chloe's Grace... ||
tab The plants lash at your body as you pass, one narrowly scraping against your body as you tumble at the very limit of their grasps and dodge most of them in a single go. Instead of chasing you as may have been expected the tendrils immediately retract into the walls, seeming to become a part of the very structure you're aiming to escape. This leaves the door beyond open as you come rolling through, and come fact to face with a black anaconda like serpent with slitted eyes that eyes you from the other end of the room, a mere twenty feet away. While you have escaped the terrors behind it looks like a serpent has taken its place.
tab A horror in and of itself, surely.

Takira Gwyndolin Hekireki ll Strategist ll Doton :: Raiton ll Former Bandit :: Current E-Rank ll Jiton :: Ferromagnetic

Takira watched the frog carefully, her eyes peeking at the chimera that claimed the skies. Now that she was grounded with how hazy her magnetic field was the bird was her biggest threat to her. "How do I take out the threat...? Oh ho ho ho. Of cou- Ouch son of a b***h what was that?" She grimaced to herself as she gritted her teeth as a slight tingle of pain in her feet started to grow quickly. She glanced down momentarily, only enough to realize that pain was going from the thick jello she landed in. It was nipping at her heels, forcing her hand. She either had to flee or put her plan in early. 'And I never flee.' She thought with a smirk as a sudden gust sent mysterious red flakes into her face, lifting her left hand off her blade and using it to shield her eyes she set into motion. That gust was enough to solidify who her major threat was. Whatever the shards of metal were they were weakening her magnetic field the close they clung to her skin as it was warping and cutting it off. Combining the birds flight ability that was the final nail in its coffin. "TIME TO ABORT YOU ABOMINATIONS." She howled through the metallic storm, her body leaning forward as she forced her body into a sprint. Her feet clinging to the jello with each step but this only slowed her down a little as she use every remaining ion of her field to lift her off the ground ever so slightly. She smirked the frog as she leaped above it, driving her now jagged and sharp heel into its forehead before using it as a stepping stool to get her body back into the air. Reeling her arm backwards as her body flung itself towards the flying foe. As her body got closer and closer to the bird her crimson eyes widened while pleasure tingled at her spine. This was what she was missing. A fight. A real fight. She had gotten much to strong in her long life, no one but the head hunters from cloud would offer her up a challenge. Maybe this curse could prove to be a gift if she could continue these life threatening spats. She locked eyes with the owl as she arm ripped through the thick air driving the blade towards its neck as she started falling back towards the ground. Weather she killed the bird or not mattered little to her as she was finally falling back towards the plant mound. "Whos next?! Whos ready to satiate this old laddies craving for blood?! The Bloodied Iron has come to dine kiddos!" She yelled with a primal growl as her eyes danced between the two chimeras guarding their mother. Her sword pointed straight towards the plant mound, if not knocked off-course or blocked she was going straight into their mother.

Who dreams of such an ending? A king… The king must be greedier than any other. He must laugh louder and rage harder. He must exemplify the extreme of all things, good and evil. That is why his retainers envy and adore him. And why the flames of aspiration, to be as the king is, can burn within his people. Proud king of chivalry… The righteousness and ideals you bore may indeed have saved your nation once. Takira Gwyndolin Hekireki ll Strategist ll Doton :: Raiton ll Former Bandit :: Current E-Rank ll Jiton :: Ferromagnetic

Takiras manic smile grew wider as the owl used the last of its strength to throw her just far enough off course to keep the plant blob safe as its brothers formed a wall between her and it. "Now thats what I'm talking about, one of you beauties showing me a little gumpshun!" She shouted out as she watched the bird drop from the sky lifelessly. In almost an instant her meager attempt at keeping her body raised with her magnetic field steadily grew back into its full strength halting her body from descending into the acid jello bellow her. The bandit started cackling maniacally as her body started to resonate with the iron surrounding her once more. "Tsk tsk kiddos, you let the one creature stopping me from annihilating you all get iced." She taunted with a raised left hand. Her chakra began spreading out around her into the ceiling and walls like an ominous wind. The sound of scrapping metal only being stopped by the sound of her good pal the frog wailing in what she assumed was pain... followed by a less than pleasant sound of glass cracking. Takira froze in mid air as her left hand faltered slightly, droplets of water landing on her back before she turned to the sounds source. Color drained from her being as the final sound of glass shattering was followed by a torrent of water knocking her down towards the jello. Her heart kicked into gear as panic began to eat at the back of her skull.

She had been doing so well at ignoring the fact that she was in a coffin bellow a body of water when it came down to it. Her crimson eyes locked onto each of the chimeras watching her intently before she huffed in aggravation. She pulled lightly at her metal boots forcing her body to retreat backwards towards the locker room. "You damned brats better not die on me! I'm looking forward to a round two with your mom and making y'all watch me take her to town!" She taunted with her best bravado despite her fearful panic shaking her voice. She let go of her pull to her boots letting her body hit the floor in front of the locker room, her left hand hooking onto the red fabric of her cloak she left on top the stairs. Rolling to a stop she made sure not to stab herself with her own katana, having forgotten to sheath it in her desperate flee from the water. Hastily sheathing it as she stood up her eyes darted around for any sight of the kid Chloe. Just a wall of what appeared to be thick vines now blocking her way. The sound of hissing just barely audible behind it. Takira stared at the unmoving wall before turning her head back to the quickly flooding dome. "I'm trapped like a damned rat!" She cursed to herself before charging into the observation room containing the lockers. As her hands wrapped her red cloak back around her shoulders her eyes scanned for anything she could use to escape.

The lockers weren't going to help much what with the pesky alloy nature of the metal. Lifting both hands in front of her she tore off the remain lockers doors before scavenging for anything useful. 'Trinkets are nice and all but how the hell am I getting out... Takira yer a crazy b*****d. I take that as a compliment self.' She thought with a shaky grin. Peeking out of the observation room she was rather surprised by how fast the water was filling The metal around the window having warped inward from the pressure creating an even bigger hole. "Yep. That'll have to work... Dammit Chloe you better get out of this mess." She grumbled as her chakra fanned out to the walls and floor around her, shaving away at the metal as fast as she could control. The water began leaking into her boots, through the cracks eaten away at by acid by the time she finished gathering the metal powder for her plan. Lifting her body out of the water she floated out into the dome, sand wrapping around her as she coiled herself around her pilfered goods. The sand formed a small compacted sphere, fully closing as Takira made one last deep breath for air. 'You got this Takira. Just like a bullet. Just pull the trigger.' She thought as blackness filled her vision. her mind remained bright with the mental picture she snapped of where the hole was located before clutching her hands into tightly balled fists. The force her her magnetic field pulling at the sand behind her shot her towards where she hoped the hole was. In all honestly she expected to splat right against the side of the dome but much to her surprise she only felt the resistance of liquid surrounding her. Her heart begain racing even faster as she began hyper ventilating her small supply of air away. Her consciousness began to fade but she used all of her failing brain to hold the sphere together. Takira let out a wheezed laugh at herself as water started leaking into her sphere as she drug against the waterbed, hope of land being near by filling her heart. But her thoughts faded away as darkness took her. Her last thought cursing the gods for trapping her under water.

[ooc: Be gentle Lan, you know you want to let Takira wash up on shore.]

_______________The Narrator Whispers... ||

_______________The Madness of Blood and Shadows Whisper to Hanako's Ears... ||
tab The vine like creature readied itself, coiling further in tight in order to likely spring at you. As it does, however, your eyes alight upon something behind it: a shaft of light, beaming down from a hole in the ceiling above. Through it it looks like you can see water flowing back and forth, with a golden-colored walla beyond. Even so, sunlight pours down from above and lands upon the crystals you had once been within, now refracting the light away in a glorious display of color.
tab And as you notice this, an alarm begins to blare.
tab The sound sends the vine screaming backwards, vanishing into its hidey hole like the danger noodle others affectionately may call it. It's gone, and the sound of glass cracking somewhere nearby is followed by water splashing down with incredible force. It seems that right now? This place didn't seem to be the safest.
_______________The Madness of Blood and Shadows Whisper to Takira's Ears... ||
tab The world around you roars in the darkness as something heavy slams into you from beneath. Something large, something dense, for it launches you out of your unconsciousness and back into screaming, painful reality as you come crashing down a moment later, the iron splintering around you and scattering as you bounce and skip across solid ground to come resting at the base of a monstrously tall statue made of some sort of metal. It isn't something you recognize, and doesn't react to your field, but it's noticeably metal.
tab Not that that matters, not with a leg that's got a nice laceration down the side from where you collided with a rock during your best impression of a stone skipping across water The air is cold here, but warmer than it had been below, and better? You are in sunlight, light beaming down on you from above, and you are in a lush, rich blue grass that is just the right shade to give the impression of being cold grass.

Takira Gwyndolin Hekireki ll Strategist ll Doton :: Raiton ll Former Bandit Lord :: D-Rank Artillerist ll Jiton :: Ferromagnetic

Takira's eyes jolted open as a wave of both water and pain washed over her entire being. Her mouth opening by reflex to curse in pain before water filled her mouth and lungs almost instantly. Gagging her hands reached for her mouth weakening her control over her field even more. Waves of water and panic hit her before she herself it the cold unforgiving ground with enough force . Iron flakes scattered from the sheer momentum like bullets into the air around her. The area being blotted out in rusty gray flakes as she hit the ground over and over, before her shell was gone entirely. Left leg digging into a rather pointed rock before her body skipped across the soil and grass one more time, only halting when her body suddenly slammed into a study statue. It took her mind a few seconds to catch up to her head after being slammed against her skull one too many times. Clutching her hands into fists she started beating on her stomach, forcing a mixture of bile and muddy water out of her body violently. Her lungs burned as she struggled to breath in air, pain riddled body standing up before collapsing back to the grass. She stayed motionless just breathing and kneeing her fingers into the soil beneath her for a few minutes, crimson eyes barely managing to keep open as her pain urged her into sleep.

'That.... how... I.. I can't believe that worked..-' She thought momentarily before every cut and bruise radiated in pain, 'Mostly worked...' Using her elbows she pulled her body up against the towering statue behind her, using it as a back rest. Her blurring eyes took survey of her body. Her clothes were even more ruined than before, her pant leg ripped down the side showcasing her new rather large wound to the stinging air. her sleeves non existent from shielding her face when she was begin thrown like a child's old toy tiny cuts and pre-bruises forming. She idly wondered if any of her bones had broken, organs busted, or if she managed to survive turning into a literal bullet and not currently having a death dream. unclipping her tattered cloak she mustered the strength to start wrapping it tightly around her split open leg. 'Always wear red so they cant see you bleed. Good tip old man.' She thought with idle amusement as her mind screamed for her to stop the pain. With finishing twist of cloth her leg was as sealed as she could manage with cloth. Lifting her left hand she began to drag all the iron flakes she scattered about back to her body. Only half of it responding to her pulling, twirling her hand in a circle she gathered it around her wrapped leg before clenching her hand into a fist. The metal squeezing into the fabric to prevent further blood loss to the best of skills. With bleeding out no longer her prime motivation for keeping her focused she let out a pitiful laugh at her self, the wheezed pain of breathing evident by her meager attempt. Blood continued to trickle down the side of her face, only now being noticed due to it dripping off her eyelashes.

Her pity laughs grew in volume as the almost extinguished fire in her gut started growing back in size. Soon she was cackling like a mad woman, she really was still alive. Her thoughtless and rather idiotic escape plan worked. She wasn't drowning at the bottom of some lake or burning to death in a fire of her own creation. "Better luck next time ya shitty gods! The Bloodied Iron lives to spite you another day!" She shouted into the heavens above her, giving the sky a middle finger salute with her free hand. Crimson eyes filled back with life surveyed the area she crashed landed into finally. The loot she managed to hold onto was scattered around the grass around her, a splattered trail of blood leading from the distance to her location among the blue grass, and the most interesting thing she noticed was that the metal her back was resting against didn't react at all to her chakra being pressed so tightly against it. Tilting her head backwards she gazed up at the towering figure, while some might wonder who exactly the statue depicted was... All Takira could think about was that she wanted one. Never in her life did she think of getting someone to make her a statue. Sure she dabbled with sculpting... well she short iron at high speeds into stone to 'create' things when she was bored, but never did she make a tower metal in her own image. Closing her eyes she let the sunlight bask over her skin, a feeling her body seemed to miss quiet a lot. "What a fight...." She mumbled to herself lifting her right arm to wipe blood from her face, mostly smearing it in the process before she opened her eyes again, "Well can't let myself fall asleep with my head having taken so many hits... Might as well gather my s**t..." She groaned in pain as she body lifted off the ground, in most part thanks to the iron steadying her leg she was able to stand. Slowly scavenging the area for her stolen loot as she struggled to stay upright.

_______________The Madness of Blood and Shadows Whisper to Takira's Ears... ||
tab The loot you found was quite strange indeed, and packed in an oil cloth bag that kept its hidden treasures free of all water and moisture. It was dry, despite the rapid ascension and the pummeling your landing gave it. Looking around now, however, that subject may well leave your mind entirely, for you find yourself in a thicket of trees that look old, wet, and more than a little beaten. Around you there are trees with bark missing where something scraped against them, and given the bark still scattered about, it might have well been recent. Still, as your eyes scan, you see that mist has started to roll in after your passage through them, and yet..it doesn't hide the sight before you.
tab Water. Water as far as you could see, which wasn't all that far from the fog, and interspersed within it land that seemed to meld from the waters itself as if beaching like the back of some unseen monstrous beast of the depths. The closest lies within walking distance, though a short hop might be necessary for such a travel.
tab That said, off in the distance, something else catches you eye. Something enormous, titanic on a scale that only someone who had lived once in the mountains could hope to understand. A tree so large that its canopy bears no end for as far as you can see. Somewhere towards the large amount of water the base of that titanic tree waits, for it is that direction you begin to see the branches thicken to leviathan thickness.

Takira Gwyndolin Hekireki ll Strategist ll Doton :: Raiton ll Former Bandit Lord :: D-Rank Artillerist ll Jiton :: Ferromagnetic

Takira waddled her way through the thinned fog stopping only to gather pilfered items, her crimson eyes taking in all the data she could from her surroundings. It seemed that while she escaped a watery grave she was still in fact surrounded by water. A fact that she was fine with, her fear of the water could be curbed if she wasn't being threatened by it. However she couldn't help but wonder where the entrance to that underwater greenhouse lied. No where that the fog wasn't hiding was a building of any sorts. 'Did I really launch myself that far from the building?' She thought before her eyes caught the shape of a cloth bag, somehow free of moisture. Her weary fingers scooped its handles into one hand before she took one last look out into the water. With a breathless sigh she took all the loot she could find on the beach before retreating back to her crash site at the base of the looming statue. Her bones and muscles ached as she walked back, her leg in particular burning as her wound rubbed against the fabric of her cloak. She sure landed in an interesting place, while she knew she was near trees she didn't expect the true extent to what was behind the statue. an impressive forest worn down by some type of beast, a noted feature, but above all else was a tree that put all the mountains she had seen in Lightning to shame. A tree that reached into the very sky itself, branches blotting out sunlight. "Well... Now I know fer sure I ain't in Lightning. Damned thing looks like some kind of spear thrusted into the world... a world tree." She grumbled in unabashed childlike wonder. She dropped her loot down onto the blueish grass stained with red, carefully lowering her body next to them with the aid of her iron as to prevent her bones from sending any more waves of pain through her body. She had came out of her admittedly horrible rushed pilfering rather nicely.

While he general outfit might have been torn and tattered from her turning into a child's hack sac for the ground, she managed to hold onto an outfit that could replace it. Could being the key word. It wasn't exactly to the bandits refined tastes. "Just my luck I had to raid one of those damned spook's locker, at least this one had some taste." She grumbled, tossing a blue vest with some sort of insignia to the ground in front of her. Her fingers lifted up a coat in front of her, crimson eyes inspecting and judging it harshly. All in all it was in her wheel house, a simple black trench coat. Thick enough to keep her warm and short enough that it wont drag her down. Gingerly she started unbuttoning her black jacket, freeing her torso from its rather drenched fabric, tossing it on top of the rejected vest. All she had for a top now was a thin red tank top, one obviously designed for a man. Not that it mattered with her lacking bust. She let out a content sigh, no longer was she drowning in sweat... well mostly. She was having a hard time keeping up with the vast change in temperature compared to her native lands. 'Well at least that damned time eater let me keep my undergarments. I wonder how they got me back into my clothes before putting me on ice.... Oh well, just add another reason to kill the b*****d dead to the pile,' She thought with a smirk while looping her arms through her new coat, leaving it unbuttoned for some air circulation. 'The sleeves are pretty loose, not as tight as my usual coat but ti will have to do all things considered.' Carefully she slipped her feet out of her iron boots, the gold paint having been long eroded away by the chimeras acids. Hell the boots could barely be considered foot wear at this point with how many jagged holes were put into them by just standing in the jello. She groaned in annoyance as she tossed the boots onto the reject pile. "Those were nice boots.." She hissed before slipping her feet into her new steel boots. These were a simple steel gray, running only up half of her shins instead of being knee high, and with a rather warm and comfortable in lining of some kind of fur fabric.

Next was a pair of steel gauntlets to match the boots, not really her style but she could see the use to keeping them around so she set them on her other side as a keep pile starter. Lucking a scabbard from the loot she pulled a small blade free from its container. A useful little knife it was, tanto she believed it was called. She looped the scabbard onto her hip on top of her whip. "Not as good as my personal knife at the camp but it shouldn't shatter easily. If anything I can use it as emergency iron." She mumbled, lifting a strange steel mask in front of her, featureless aside from the thin slit of black glass she presumed was used to see. Placing it over her face she gazed through the glass, surprised by how little it blotted out light. She was expecting it to behave like a pair of sunglasses. She quickly removed it from her face, and tossed it onto her keep pile. She had no plans to ever wear it, due to being something that would hide her face (and who would want to do that?) but it might fetch a pretty penny. What remained weren't things she could just use to replace her current outfit. She idly picked at a strange black book that refused to open. A small book for taking notes or managing the week from what she could tell but no matter how much force she applied to the spine or the cover it wouldn't open. It had no lock to keep it shut. With frustration she tossed it into the keep pile as she couldn't let this challenge go so easily. Then came a pouch full of vials containing what appeared to be liquid amber but she couldn't be sure if they were even safe to open she she gingerly put it next to her equipment satchel, latching it to her belt. It might come in handy if she could figure out what was in they vials, hell maybe the book could tell her. Lastly was the seemingly waterproof back it managed to take her skipping across the beach without getting damaged in the slightest, a time that might prove useful for keeping food safe from the environment perhaps. Alas for now it would have to make due with holding her 'keep items.'

Takira stretched out one final time as she let out a long draw yawn. While she knew how dangerous it would be to fall asleep she could already feel her body giving into the call of rest. Thanks to being a teenager again her body wasn't strong enough to handle the amount of force she whips around when controlling her jiton. The strain taking not only on her mind but her muscles that controlled the flakes. Her eyelids began falling with more force the longer she stared out into the distant fog. Her willpower loosing to her bodies rather heavy handed demands. Her crimson eyes trailed down to her bound leg, idly wondering if the wounded had stopped bleeding yet with how much pressure was being held on it, her cloak likely crusted with blood under all the iron holding it. "Sod it... five mintues.. then ill start.. wa-" She mumbled before letting out another yawn, "-lking towards that monster tree..." Her voice faded as her eyes stayed closed. her mind drifting off into dreamland as her arms held her bag against her torso.

Quote " You said you would become a martyr for your ideals. In life, you must have been a pure saint. A proud and noble figure, certainly. But who can truly admire the martyr’s thorny path? Who dreams of such an ending? A king… The king must be greedier than any other. He must laugh louder and rage harder. He must exemplify the extreme of all things, good and evil. That is why his retainers envy and adore him. And why the flames of aspiration, to be as the king is, can burn within his people. Proud king of chivalry… The righteousness and ideals you bore may indeed have saved your nation once. However, I’m certain you know what became of those who were saved, but left to themselves.” :: Iskandar

_______________The Madness of Blood and Shadows Whisper to Hanako's Ears... ||
tab The situation looked grim indeed, with very little to convince the girl of anything but her impending doom. The blaring alarms would suddenly go silent, followed by a reverberating boom as somewhere in the distance a steel shutter cut off the flow of water into the subterranean complex. Indeed, with it stifled the fire that raged in some portions that had been doused from the water steamed and hissed, releasing while clouds of vapor mixed with black to spread across the ceiling in multiple places. At last they came to the area Hanako now resided in, where the gas flowed upwards and spilled into the hole above you. Strangely, it wasn't taken by the water but spread out, as if meeting a wall. While the water raged by above the structure it was clear something kept it at bay.
tab For the moment it looked like she was safe from the water, but the question remained as to just how she might escape.

_______________The Madness of Blood and Shadows Whisper to Takira's Ears... ||
tab "Every great dream begins with a dreamer..."
tab The words echoe as if from a great distance, and precludes the world as it builds around you. The world around you is dark, though not in the way you've experienced. It wasn't an absence of light, as if closed into a room with no windows, floors, or exits of any variety. This was an absence of everything, a void so complete that the sounds of your breath carry no echoes. To your senses you must be somewhere titanic in origin, and yet despite this you feel a surface beneath your feet.
tab "You were the last hope we had..."
tab The words come again, their origin lost in the void. Time, light, and energy...their meaning is lost here as you float in nothingness.
tab The world burns.
tab Clanging metal, screeching gears, roars, explosions, and the scent of smoke, fire, and industry assault your senses as vague recollections of contraptions you've seen or heard of flash through your mind. In moments its assaulting you, overwhelming you.
tab A hand touches your shoulder, and the assault halts in place.
tab Everything is blurry, fuzzy, just on the edge of understanding as the voice comes to you again. The voice seems familiar, and all at once you realize it's the same voice who woke you, who helped you remember who you are. "It will be up to you, and those like you, to guide the world forward. Industry flows through your veins. Ingenuity. Understanding. Already your boots tread the path of the Tinkerer. All you now need is the tools to forge your destiny."
tab Before your eyes a blazing light appears, a miniature start that you know is formed from the aspirations you have always bore. Know in the way of dreams, with sudden realization. Once more the voice speaks. "There. I can merely point the way. It must be you who takes it for yourself. Reach forth, and begin your travels!"

Takira Gwyndolin Hekireki ll Strategist ll Doton :: Raiton ll Former Bandit Lord :: D-Rank Artillerist ll Jiton :: Ferromagnetic

Takira groaned as her mind was dropped into the deep unending void of the dreamscape. A place where everything is possible but nothing can be done. Her body felt weightless but at the same time heavier than it had ever been. The only proof she could claim to even existing was the pressure against what seemed to be the soles of her feet against a floor of sorts, maybe a mass of solid air holding her in place sparing her from falling forever through the bleak darkness. She hears words fill her mind but not through her ears, almost as if the words were being spoken directly to her mind. The voice eludes to her failures while they don't dive into specifics her mind was given more than enough to place the guilt in her stomach to a real meaning were there was none. Her thoughts drift to all those years ago. Before she woke from her crystal prison, before she was even placed into it, before she was young, before. The aged Takira stands back on the battlefield. Her black mop of hair returned to its grayed state, a side effect of her role was stress even if it never showed beyond her hair. The battle was long over, her overwhelming brutality having smothered the rival marauders into Lightnings unforgiving hard grounds. Her crimson eyes still filled with wicked passion as she knelt down to the lump of matter that was rested on the soil in front of her. The form of another human lying face flat on the ground, the smell of tainted iron filling her lungs as she finally noticed the pool of blood she stood in. A floral emblem was all she needed to see to know which side the fallen solider belonged to. After all it was the badge she wore so proudly on her own person. Clean white gloves grip onto the persons shoulder, turning them so she might see their face. Hatred burns in her gut. Hatred at the enemy, hatred at herself, and Hatred at the child she was now staying in their lifeless eyes. Not even old enough to take a drink from the camps alcohol reserves. Bright starry eyed teen with dreams of making it big for themselves after being turned away from Kumo. All she did was offer the strays a home, a place that they could fuel those passions of youth. This one had overstepped their boundary, likely thinking racking up kills would jump them ahead. A kid still cradling a weapon the leader had made herself. A kid that looked up to their leader enough... enough to disobey a direct order from their leader just to be noticed. A kid not unlike what she used to be.

As she reached out to close the child's eyes the smell of smoke filled her nostrils, overwhelming the stench of tainted iron. The sounds of a film real snapping as the film burned. Her vision burning away back into nothingness as the void embraced her once again. It wasn't long before the void exploded in her senses. Her lungs filling with charred air. Eyes taking in millions if not billions of images like a television's channels being rapidly changed. Ears bursting with the sound of hammers, shots of guns, explosions, zapping of cut wires, and sounds she hadn't even heard before. Skin bursting with pain as fire scorched the fingerprints from her, oil gluing her muscles to her bones, gunpowder exploding in place of a heart, and a computer allowing her thoughts to move at such a speed. In an instant everything returned to dark nothingness again, the feeling of a warm hand gripping onto her bruised shoulder. The pain allowed her to focus, allowed her to be HER, no longer was she a mess of thoughts and scattered memories half forgotten. A soft voice speaking through static as if coming from a pair of headphones. It was so familiar, so gentle, and yet so very menacingly sincerer. It mentions a title of sorts and what it truly means to take that title as her own. Tinkerer, there was a time she was called such by her retainers. She was always adjusting the weaponry she would find on the battle field. Adapting it and improving it on occasion. The voice falling silent was enough to pull her from her straying thoughts. A small ball of light greets her sight. Just barely floating off in the distance, lighting the way forward through the unending void. Crimson eyes fill to the brim with the flames so often associated with the bandit. Flames of passion and life burning brightly in those red globes. As she took her first step forward the voice It urged her forward, as if she ever needed the help. "Just who do you think I am? I am the great bandit feared all over lighting! The scourge of the southern border! Bloodied Iron is all that remains of those who tried to get in my way! I AM TAKIRA GWYNDOLIN HEKIREKI! MY VERY EXISTENCE OVERWHELMS OTHERS WITH FEAR! My life is my own! My dreams and my passions are no ones to toy with!" The newly born Takria shouted into the vast void, wicked grin plastered over her face as she gave it the bird. If this being of dreams was telling her to become this tinkerer she was break that thought down and re build it ten times grander than whatever dreams the voice may have had for it. Nothing was better than what she herself could create! As she finally stepped through the light her mind was thrown back into reality. Pain become her very being as tired eyes jolted alive. She felt like she had finally reclaimed a shard of her person that had been hacked away with her stolen time. Like her very being could radiate her awesome power. Her freshly acquired bag was on the ground next to her as her eyes noted, and from the bag a small back ball rolled from its depths. An item she was sure wasn't there to begin with rolled right to her face. Sore fingers plucked the orb from the ground as she lifted her self off the cold dew ridden grass. "Tinkerer eh... I wonder what I could tinker out of you? " She mumbled lifting the orb skywards to inspect it more closely with the light peeking through the trees.

Hanako's eyes were on the hole above as the shutter that just sounded off in the distance gave the resounding boom. Alarms were silent, smoke and steam came to her area, where it escaped out the hole....where was the water? Why hadn't she drowned yet? She narrowed in on hold to see it spreading out like it had some form of shield, preventing it from coming through. Something was blocking it from coming it. She was safe from that imminent danger for now...

                                                      ...Time is of the essence...

If smoke was able to get out... Maybe she could too. She would have to test that theory, of course, but if it were possible...

She looked around her at the available resources. What could be useful to her? She would need a way to breath.. a way to quickly get out of there and up to a surface. The true depth of where she was is an unknown... She would need something adaptable....
