Whoops, I was wrong. They called this morning and told me 36 had been retrieved, and 34 survived freezing (the 28 was the number of follicles, and some were potential twins).

At least this way people get some use out of them.

At least this way people get some use out of them. Yeah, but it's very wrong. There are reasons there are child labor laws and anti-slavery laws after all. Putting eggs on ice is better because they aren't an individual life form capable of thought.

I'm not very good with picking up on how people mean things on the Internet since the Internet lacks both tone of voice and body language. Hell I don't always pick up on the same stuff offline, but at least I have at least one of those things to help me pick up on how people mean things.
