[Elawadiyi]

The current wanidatsi, Skan Kanati, is more reluctant to accept new members into the pride than his father, Tawa'di Kanati. While only hearing the harrowing details of the Dark Fire pride from his father, he has taken the risk of outsiders more seriously, and has much higher standards. He is not trying to isolate the pride, but keep them safe from risks outside of their pride. New members will be accepted in small groups once in a while.

[Syrius Lionwing]

Personality: Coszlcatl is mild mannered, not unlike his father, though unlike his father he doesn't feel the need to serve a master.
History: Coszlcatl was born in the dawn walkers and after the pride disbanded he found himself alone, his family went their separate ways and he has wandered the rogue lands since.
Why do they wish to join? he needs a new home after the dawn walkers disbanded


Name of Lion/ess: Hikaru

Personality: Hikaru is fun loving and bouncy, he's a bit of a prankster.
History: when the swamplands burned Hikaru got separated from his family and more importantly his twin. He mourned the loss and unsure if any of his family are still out there he has wandered the rogue lands alone trying to find his brother.
Why do they wish to join? Has a hope that joining a new pride will give him purpose, he wants to find a home.

Personality: Kumul is a bit of a softy, but he grew up in a harsh environment that hardened him a bit. He tends to stay quiet in most situations and defers to his more sociable mate when they are together.
History: Kumul grew up in the Jahy Sarlain lands, and was tasked to fight for his resources at a young age until adulthood when his pride disband and most of their pride scattered to the four winds. They have searched the land for a new place to live since.
Why do they wish to join? Kumul has longed for a new place to live for a long time, a place to settle and surround himself with family. He doesn't want to fight anymore.



Name of Lion/ess: Cesaret bint Cesurluk

Personality: Cesaret is a sociable lioness and finds it easier to fit in places than her mate does. While she also grew up along side Kumul, she also has a more positive outlook on life. She took charge of the family when the pride disband.
History: Cesaret grew up along side Kumul in the Jahy Sarlain, in the same clan. She learned how to fight to survive alongside him and bore two of his children. When the pride disband she took charge of their small family and moved along to find a new place to live. They parted ways with their children before seeking out the lands, leaving her daughter Ofke in charge of the family.
Why do they wish to join? Ceraset wants a place for her mate to be happy, for him to not have to fight. She would never leave her mate's side and wants what's best for him. [OOCly: The Ela is somewhat similar in structure to Jahy in that there are clans and life-mates, so it wouldn't be too much of a culture shock for the pair. ]

Personality: Usually placid, a bit of a jokester. Works hard and likes working with others, likes making them laugh. Doesn't like to be the focus of attention but prefers the company of other to being alone.
History: Lived his life in the rogue lands with his small family (parents + siblings) but once he was old enough to be on his own he found it too difficult and scary and disliked the rogue life.
Why do they wish to join? Strength and safety in numbers. Enjoys the cooperative nature of a pride. Glad the pride doesn't have any weird rules about restricting the number of males or if they can breed etc. (marriage doesn't count as a weird rule, perfectly normal)


Name of Lion/ess: Fiume

Personality: A little quiet, a bit of a night owl. Independent and strong but hates being alone and secretly likes attention (aka she'll need to find a very doting mate to be happy but that shouldn't be too hard).
History: From a fairly large family (mother + sibs, half-sibs, their kids etc) who lived in the rouge lands their entire lives but they're all splitting up and going their own ways and joining prides.
Why do they wish to join? Fiume does not like being alone and would probably have tried joining the first pride she found and it seems the Ela was the first pride she found.

Personality: Thut is a man of few words, and fewer smiles. Most think he is purely interested in business or that he has no sense of humor whic

h is incorrect! Thut just has a very odd and dry sense of humor that tends to fly over people's heads. He's not a unkind man by any means he just isn't one to spend hours gushing over your achievements or to coddle you. A simple 'Good job', 'You okay?', 'Try XYZ' is probably the most response you'll find yourself getting out of him.
History: I won him off of Lutz but his history was a pretty blank slate. He's basically a older lion who's spent the majority of his life as a rogue. He has a family out there somewhere but I don't believe he was ever a big part of their lives/if he knows about them at all.
Why do they wish to join? Because now that he's getting older he realizes the value in stability and having one place to call home. He's looking for a fresh start and he's hoping the Ela can provided that.

 

[Vashtya]

Mated: Nope, buuut he did just get rolled in the father's day rogue raffle, and he is not the sort to abandon his responsibilities, so any resulting cub(s) would be coming with him, and I will be playing it as if the female died giving birth (I will update the form accordingly when I have the cub or cubs) EDIT: Mwanga'mkali (owned by me) and Manakel (owned by Epine de Rose) are the cubs who he'd be bringing with him. He also has a familiar, a male klipspringer (Makini'fumbi).
Clan: If at all possible, I would love for him to be in any clan but Sky, only because all of my other Ela are in that particular clan lol.
Personality: Loyal, protective, somewhat serious (but not to the point of lacking a sense of humor), and at this point, lonely and tired of having no roots.
History: One of the mistweavers, he was a wanderwr in his youth, before returning to the pride as an adult, where he stayed for some time before the pride broke apart, at which time he found himself on his own again...and he's been wandering since.
Why do they wish to join? Makadara isn't the sort of lion who likes being a loner - and while he's protective enough that he's never been afraid of fighting when he needs to, he really wants peace, and a sense of community/a pridal bond. I thought the Ela would suit him as a settling spot - and since he's been on his own for awhile, the looser clan structure & nomadic wandering within the lands should make for an easier adjustment for him. smile

Name of Lion/ess: Denali

Personality: Quiet, Reserved, a bit analytical. Always finds things to say after the conversation has ended.
History: Born in the Pridelands, Denali has kept to herself most of her life. Upon hearing about things in the pride (cult worship, murders), she decided to leave for a different life.
Why do they wish to join? Starting a new life. Possibly end up somewhere where she is not related to almost every lion she meets.

Personality: Very kind and light-hearted, Momo is almost a living embodiment of the phrase "bright-eyed and bushy-tailed."
History: She was found as a cub by Vanellus and he helped raise her, so they are very close. She was once a part of the Aka'mleli, which she loved, but was forced to find a new home.
Why do they wish to join? Momo is very social and family-oriented, and would love to have those aspects back in her life. Van's always just kind of along for the ride. >>

Clan: For simplicity it would be easiest if she was in Wolf clan since Nashoba is already there.
Personality: Sweet and unassuming Ornella really does just want to live life the best she can. She has wanted a family for a long time and is ready to settle down and have one now.
History: Ornella has been a wonderer since she was just a little cub, spending most of her life on her own. When she was young she thought what she wanted most was to see the world. Now that she is a bit older and still on her own she has come to realize that family really is the most important thing to her and she is ready to settle down and be apart of a family unit.
Why do they wish to join? Ornella is ready to settle down her travelling ways and hopefully find a mate and have cubs. The Ela's way of life is appealing since they travel around their lands. With the size of the pride too she feels like there will always be more and something new for her to see. Their overall family values are also appealing to the her.

Clan: Earth would probably be best in his case, since he already has family there!
Personality: Raynd's a studious, curious sort, relatively mild in personality but very eager to learn and to know. He can be a little awkward around others, but he's generally sweet and well-meaning.
History: He was born in the Aali'makabila, and has been wandering since they disbanded with no real destination in mind, poking about at things that catch his interest but without making any significant connections. But eventually that kind of life gets old, no matter how curious you are.
Why do they wish to join? His parents are here, he has siblings here that he's never properly met, and he misses having family around him. In his case, it's really that simple.
