Name: Kekoa (Hawaiian name meaning "The strong one") Personality: Kekoa isn't dour, but he isn't exactly excitable. He's simply a product of the home he's grown up in, stoic and strong-willed. While he doesn't let the ailment of the pride get to him, he also isn't known for talking about CHEERY subjects. He does like to sing and tell stories, though, erring on the side of more sombre songs and stories with morals. Prompt Response: To entertain the pride, Kekoa opts for a combination of story and singing. The story is the tale of a pair of young lions, kept apart by their families. They pine for each other, wanting only to be together(At this point Pavla joins him to sing some happier songs for the duo), but their families are at war, never allowing the lovers to be together. It finally culminates in one large battle, before the two lovers interrupt the families fighting. He tells of how they plead for the families to just get along, surely they're not so different(With Pavla acting out a shrill voice for the lioness). Instead, the families go back to fighting, and when the dust settles, most are dead, including the young lovers. The remnants of the families realize what they've lost in their fighting and the warring comes to an end, forming one family at last. The moral Kekoa imparts is that love is powerful, but it doesn't conquer all. Sometimes, one has to die before their dream is realized, as their passing makes others realize they must change what they're doing.

Name: Injabulo'encane (little joy, zulu) Personality: He got his name from being a bright and cheery little cub, he brought happiness to his parents just before they succumbed to the disease. He's a carrier, and while he's not immune, he counts himself luckier than those who are really ailing and tries to cheer them up if he can tell they need it (there are times, however, he knows it's not appropriate, the disease isn't a laughing matter, after all). Prompt Response: Injabulo'encane (Inja, for short) tries to entertain the pride by telling jokes, and if that doesn't work, he does gag comedy. Crying cub? Maybe if he acted like he tripped and bumped his head, the little cub would laugh and dry those eyes! Unfortunately sometimes he can get carried away with this and wind up with a little bit more serious of a bump or bruise... or bloody gash on his head whoops. Not good when you don't have optimal health. He just wants to see his pride members smile.
