Lyre looked over at James, a small blush touching her cheeks. Even though he was her new husband, he still made little butterflies tickle in her belly. Lyre stood on her tiptoes to reach the man enough to kiss his cheek. "I love you, James Masters." She smiled at him, violet eyes twinkling in the starlight. She slipped her fingers to intertwine with his then stepped onto the warm sand, grinning as it curled between her toes. "It's such a nice night for a wedding. And such a pretty place. I think I'm going to love living in Scotland..." Honestly, Lyre was amazed it had all turned out as perfectly as she'd always dreamed, even if it was dark. She sniffled a bit, blinking to try to prevent her tears. It was such a big event! Her parents were there, all their friends, and it was utterly perfect. They'd done a good job planning and putting it all together, but she didn't think it'd be as wonderful as it was proving to be. Then again, the woman figured she could have married James anywhere and found it perfect, all because she was with him. And that's how she knew he was truly her soulmate. spaceJames' grin split from ear to ear, so sincere it shined through his eyes, when he looked down at Lyre. "I love you, too," he replied, then kissed her, what he would call a proper kiss. Proper was, perhaps, not the most appropriate word. Thorough, maybe. Though, he did keep it more or less appropriate for public, if a little enthusiastic, knowing that if he made too much of a show he'd both embarrass her and earn a slap upside the head from his best man. He couldn't help it, though, if he got a bit overly excited at the fact that they were, in fact, married now. A handful of years ago, he remembered telling Wyatt at the American's wedding that he'd never have one of his own. And he'd been certain of it, too, mostly because he'd been almost certain that no woman would ever put up with him. All the people in his life loudly proclaiming what a catch he was, the traits they admired weren't what you built a marriage off of. It was mostly his good looks, charm, and yes, money. And a couple of years before Wyatt's wedding, he hadn't been bothered by the prospect, but seeing his best mate and Milo, and then Cyd and Loki, had made him a little depressed that he was, to his mind, destined to be alone.
spaceHe knew that to an outsider, he and Lyre might've seemed like they'd rushed things. But then again, that was how he'd always done... well, everything. It was to be expected. And the whole reason he loved her was because she didn't mind that he ran headlong into everything, that he could hold out his hand and she wouldn't even hesitate to take it. That much was obvious just from the fact that he'd said he loved her and almost immediately proposed, and she'd been more than happy to say yes. He figured he was old enough to know what he wanted out of life, there wasn't any sense in fiddling around for the sake of convention. If she wanted to marry him, they would get married. And they had, and he couldn't be more pleased. Particularly since she was the most beautiful bride he'd ever seen (or that had ever been, he amended; it wasn't like he'd seen many brides... Just Cyd, really).
spaceHe brushed the tip of his nose against hers, then rested his head atop hers, looking out at the ocean. "Maybe we should get a beach house," he said thoughtfully. And he was actually quite serious; he'd always liked the beach, and swimming, and it wasn't like he couldn't afford it. They, he amended again. She was his wife now, and by Monday she'd have complete access to his bank account, after all. He didn't believe in keeping anything separate from her. They were going to be together for the rest of their lives, he wanted to share everything with her. And it wasn't like she was broke, anyway, she made a decent living for herself, even if it wasn't as extravagant as his. "It's not like we can stay in the penthouse forever, anyway... I mean, technically we could just remodel the floorplan to add rooms when we have kids, but why bother when we can move?" Impractically practical, he thought. It was something his mother had called him more than once, and he had to admit, it suited him. Most people would balk at the idea of moving house when they could easily use magic to remodel their current home, but he rather liked the idea of getting a new place that was properly his and Lyre's, not his place that she'd moved into. All the better if it was somewhere a little extravagant, like on the oceanside. He rather fancied the idea, actually.

She was happy to receive a much better kiss, and it helped that it was one that made her heart skip a beat or two. He was too darn good at that. Though something told the redhead he knew he was an excellent kisser, and he used it for his advantage. That got her thinking about other things he might be hiding... and then her thoughts trailed to their upcoming honeymoon and all those romance novellas she'd been reading.... By the time her thoughts aligned themselves, she had a rather deep blush on her cheeks. She looked back to James, then commented on the beach to try and reduce her blushing. That was when James' words shocked her. She blinked at him, a small smile forming on her lips. "A beach house would be wonderful. Somewhere in Scotland, of course." She grinned at him, thinking how wonderful a beach house would turn out. They both loved swimming, after all. And she'd always wanted to learn to scuba dive... Maybe a beach house would be a very educational venture... He said that they could remodel the penthouse, but she was excited about a move. "Well, your friend Cyd and her husband, they got a new house instead of magically remodeling... and besides, a remodel would lose us the pool or the sauna, and we don't want that... We could just get a nice little house, then we'll have plenty of room!" She grinned, thinking a house to be a good investment. Besides, that would give her plenty of room for all her books. They were currently boxed up in the floor at her soon to be former flat. After the honeymoon, they'd start moving everything into James' much roomier penthouse. Honestly, the penthouse was fine, but the idea of a house, particularly one by the beach, was almost to perfectly picturesque! She grinned, doing her little excited shimmy dance. spaceJames smiled when she agreed to the beach house, rather pleased with himself for having the idea. Of course, it wasn't as though it was a terribly original or creative idea, given that they were even now standing on the beach, but it'd still been his, so he could be smug if he liked. He nodded when she added that it would be in Scotland. "Obviously," he stated matter-of-factly, "I need to be close to the team and all. Besides, it'd be pretty odd for Scotland's captain to not live in Scotland. It's bad enough that I'm English, you know." He chuckled at that, nudging her gently with his elbow. He immediately wrapped the arm around her, though, steadying her from the gesture. If anyone thought it was unnecessary, they clearly didn't know his wife (hah!), since she tripped over nothing on a regular basis and had trouble staying upright under normal circumstances, let alone when someone was (albeit gently) shoving at her.
spaceHer continued reply to the desire to move left him blinking, though. Sometimes, he swore she forgot she was a witch. Or, at the very least, the extent of what magic was capable of. Then again, she hadn't finished her magical schooling. "Lyre, luv, the point of using magic to do the remodel would be so we didn't have to lose anything. Adding rooms and square feet without actually building any." He gave her an odd look, still smiling, amused. "Not that it matters. I'd rather we have our own place, anyway. One that's actually ours, you know? Besides, I quite like the idea of a house on the beach... Not sure how little it'll actually be in the end, though. If we get a big enough stretch of land, I could probably manage a decent training area. And we'll still need a pool, since it'd be too cold to swim in the ocean most of the year. And my work-out room. And a massive library for you." He winked, then leaned down and kissed the top of her head, taking a moment to sniff her hair. The scent of the sea was clinging to it, salt and ocean mingling with her shampoo.
space"We could have it built. Just need to figure out exactly how many bedrooms..." The Seeker gave her a meaningful expression. He had no idea how many kids she wanted, just that she wanted them. He, personally, would be happy with a whole team of them. He loved kids, and given how much a handful Dris was, he was pretty sure he could handle having his own. And considering he'd never thought he'd even get to have any of his own, he could be forgiven for being excited at the prospect of a houseful of kids. Besides... look at Lyre. Look at him. They'd have the most adorably beautiful kids on the face of the earth. Clearly it was for the betterment of the world that they procreate, many times over. His looks, plus her looks, and hopefully her brains as well, would produce what was basically the perfect kids. He was utterly convinced of that.

╔════════════════════════╗ Penelope Barrett Eight Years Old - Third Grade - Big Sister - Halfblood ╚════════════════════════╝
Penelope had been the flower girl a total of three times now although she only remembered two of those times. Regardless, she never had to share the role – but this time, there were three flower girls. It was weird, and the girls had all sort of turned the role into a competition amongst themselves. To win and do things a little differently, Penny decided she’d walk down the aisle with Syd, who was the ring bearer and came in on his own after Jessica and Giselle had finished throwing petals. Besides, he was little and needed the help anyway, so no one could be mad at her for just trying to keep her little brother from messing up.
Penny had decided this wedding was going to be her last time being a flower girl – she was over it. The next wedding she would attend would have to be her own, or else she wasn’t going. However, once the cake was cut and she tried her piece, she retracted her thoughts. The dessert at weddings was way too good to say no to. And she supposed she enjoyed wearing frilly dresses. Perhaps it wasn’t all bad. “Syd!” she yelled across the table at her brother, who had began playing with the decorations that were in his reach. “Stop touching the flowers,” she ordered.

╔════════════════════════╗ Jessica Quimby - Winthrop Seven Years Old - Second Grade - Pureblood - Adopted ╚════════════════════════╝
This was Jessica’s first big event since being adopted into the Quimby-Winthrop family, which was daunting enough, but furthermore, she was also told that she could be a flower girl. Jess wasn’t sure if she’d like to do that, but after a lot of encouragement from her family, mainly her new parents Eleanor and Tristan, she decided to go for it. However, she wasn’t told she was going to be one of three flower girls until it was too late to back out. The day of the wedding, the girls had somehow began competing to be the best one, but Jessica didn’t want to compete with them – especially since one of them was a family member, who was somehow Jessica’s niece although she was older than her. That did not make any sense.
When the time came for the girls to walk down the aisle, Penelope didn’t go with them. So, it was just her and Giselle. On the upside, more people would be paying attention to her. The entire time, Jess only did as she was instructed – she took a few steps and threw some petals, trying her best not to run out before she arrived at her spot with the rest of the wedding party. It felt like she stood there for a while before the bride and groom kissed and the ceremony finished. For dinner, she had a designated spot with her name on it next to her parents. Moments when Jessica felt special were far and few in between, but today was definitely a day where she felt noticed.

Siobhan'Hannah'Grey-Cavendish Hufflepuff Alumnus │ Beater for Irish National Team │ Twenty-Seven Years Old │ Married to Conall
'What a wonderful day it's been,' thought Hannah, as she walked about, now that the wedding ceremony was done. 'Cora couldn't have asked for a better day for this if she'd tried.' When Cora asked her to be her maid of honour, her answer was as automatic as it was affirming. How could she not? Cora was one of her dearest friends and had been since their school days, which all of a sudden seemed so long ago, and yet not really; not when she saw so many others she remembered from school attending the event. Its just with all the changes in her life since she crossed the Black Lake … yeah, ten years suddenly passed in a hurry.
Looking around, she soon spotted the two most important people in her life, one shouted, "Mama!" and started rushing toward her, while the other followed in the wake of the two-year old. The little girl, with her long, flyaway hair and her floaty dress threw herself into Hannah's legs, with all the enthusiasm a small child could muster, wrapping her arms around them. Hannah laughed aloud, and crouched down to scoop the child up before she do anything to get either of their dresses dirty. "Linsey!" Hannah answered the child, mimicking her breathless excitement. Linsey giggled aloud as she wrapped her arms around her mother, and laid her head upon Hannah's shoulder.
As she stood there, she saw her husband, Conall had stopped a few paces back, had his phone out, and looked as though he were framing up an image on the screen. Hannah struck pose, positioning herself so both she and Linsey could be photographed. After the flash went off, Conall pocketed the phone, before coming close to lean in and kiss Hannah. "You look gorgeous, you know," he told her, as he took in the sight of the turquoise bridesmaid dress his purple-haired wife was wearing for the occasion. Hannah smiled, as she took in his neatly trimmed beard and the suitcoat he wore, and said, "You clean up pretty good yourself. Reminds me of our wedding day." Conall smiled, and he said, giving her a mischievous wink, "Hmmm, that had its moments too."
Hannah kissed him again, and she suggested, "Let's mingle a little, why don't we?"
OOC: Conall is a wizard, in case it comes up.

╔══════════════════════════════════╗ Alexandria Barrett Gryffindor Alumna - Thirty Three - Pureblood - All or Nothing Ink and Board Shop ╚══════════════════════════════════╝
Alexandria had become a little concerned when the flower girls made their way down with aisle without Penelope. Looking back, she couldn’t quite see her daughter behind the bushes. However, once Syd made his way down, Alex was both relieved and a tad embarrassed at her daughter for changing things up on her own terms. She knew she’d have to apologize to Cordelia before having a talk with Penny about how she has to act at weddings. After all, she had just turned nine years old last month – her daughter was a big girl. Thankfully, her children didn’t make a scene as one displayed the rings and the other tossed petals into the air, and the rest of the ceremony had continued without any problems.
While enjoying dessert, Penny had begun bossing Syd around. “Hey, be nice,” she warned, reaching over to move the flower vase out of her son’s reach. “He’s little, he doesn’t know. You, on the other hand, should know better. Why didn’t you walk down the aisle with Jessica and Giselle like you were supposed to?” she asked. Alexandria eyed Crash, hoping he’d read the look she was giving him and back her up on this.

╔══════════════════════════════════╗ Rosabella Winthrop Gryffindor Alumna - Thirty Two - Muggleborn - Seer - St. Mungo's Welcome Witch ╚══════════════════════════════════╝
This was the second wedding where Andrea had accompanied Rosabella, except this time, they brought along a child who had been left in their care. Gaspard seemed to have been settling in pretty well over the last year, which was a relief considering he watched his own mother and father's deaths, regardless of whether or not they were warranted. After notifying Bella of the tragic events, it wasn't long before they had arrived at St. Mungo's and the Welcome Witch was let off her shift early. The brunette glanced over at her girlfriend for a moment, thinking back to that day. It was insane how much she hadn't known about the blonde up until then. Bella was astonished to find out that Andrea's werewolf secret wasn't even her biggest one; however, after finally being told the whole truth – and being assured that that was everything – Rosabella had started to feel quite secure in their relationship. And now, they were faced with the challenge of raising an eight year old.
