Philip was pretty grateful that Griffin was so chill with him taking Chelsea as his date to multiple weddings now. It helped that Phil didn’t see the blonde as anything more than a bro – a nicer smelling, prettier looking bro, but nonetheless a bro. They’ve been friends for so long at this point that if he hadn’t fallen for her yet, he really didn’t think he would. The sixth year looked over at her and smiled when they locked eyes. “You getting tired of me dragging you around to all these fancy events yet?” he asked jokingly. The only part he wasn’t super stoked about was how hot he’d be wearing all black besides the shirt, which was a dark green to match Chelsea’s dress. Thankfully, by the time the evening rolled around, the heat had died down quite a bit.

Dakota couldn’t believe he was married. If you told him it would happen when he was still in school, he wouldn’t have believed it. He’d had two relationships which didn’t go as planned until he’d met Cordelia. Sure, their relationship hadn’t gone completely as planned but they’d gotten there. He was happy for how things turned out. He couldn’t help but think about how lucky he was. His wife was absolutely beautiful and pregnant or not she was stunning in that dress.

Speaking of his wife, Dakota knew Cora was around somewhere. Probably mingling with their guests or sneaking up behind him. He smiled as he looked to his wife. He couldn’t get enough of referring to Cora as his wife in his head. Out loud was probably even better but he didn’t want to milk it the first day. “Of course. I hope you are to.” He replied as he turned and wrapped his arm around her. Dakota hoped she wasn’t overdoing it with all the busyness that was their wedding.

Emma had been so focused on work after her breakup. She had a minimal social life since then and it was a shock to her to be a bridesmaid. Cordelia was a good friend of hers, but she hadn’t been a very social friend as of late. Emma planned on getting better at all of that. Perhaps starting now…

Seeing Hannah with her husband Conall and daughter Linsey, Emma wondered what it would be like to have that. A family. One of her very own. She would give anything to have a kid. Biological or not she didn’t care. However, she wasn’t completely sure how to do it. Not without messing up her career. Though as her uncle had said she couldn’t play Quidditch forever.

“Hey Hannah, Conall, little Linsey.” Emma greeted the family of three. Hannah was her best friend she could always talk to her. “It was a lovely ceremony wasn’t it.” She commented trying to make light conversation. Emma really needed to get back to the social butterfly mood that was typically her. How hard could it be right?

Hannah's face lit up when she saw Emma, they'd been best friends for practically ever. Many times she found herself wishing things were like they were at school when they saw each other every day, and they were dorm-mates. As much as she couldn't complain too much about the course of her life since graduating, she missed those days at Hogwarts. Before she could greet her friend, Linsey's eyes lit up and she reached out her small hand to Emma. "Aunty Emma," the little child said, with a happy look, before giggling again.

Hannah leaned and gave her friend a hug, or at least as much of one as she was able with one arm wrapped around Linsey. "It's so good to see you again, Emma," Hannah said, while her small daughter attempted to collect a hug of her own. "It was a beautiful ceremony, and a wonderful day too. Nice weather; wouldn't mind taking a broomstick up into the air on a day like this. I was so happy when Cora asked me to be part of her special day. How about you?"

After going through a major rough patch, Grace had talked with her sister Leo. She’d said some things that had really suck with her. However, she still couldn’t shake her feelings. That led to her going into therapy. As her sister had said she needed to talk to somebody. Sure, that somebody was her husband. However, she didn’t want to throw all her feelings onto him when he had his own. After a few sections with the therapist she finally took the plunge and talked to Avian. They’d cried during it but at least they were going through it together. It had definitely been a step in the right direction.

Grace had been doing better, though she still wasn’t a hundred percent. Every once in a while, her old thoughts would resurface, and she’d just look to Avian. He was always there to help her through the daily struggles. She was very grateful to have him. Knowing now that he’d never blamed her for any of it, she felt at peace. She was able to help Avian with his own feels just as he had hers. There was no scenario where Grace could see herself without him, especially after everything.

Now Grace could enjoy her cousin’s wedding with her husband without issue. Holding Avian’s hand she smiled at him. Avian smiled back at her, he’d missed that smile while it had been gone. Luckily everything was mostly back to the way it was. Something they both very much longed for. Course nothing would be able to put it back exactly the way it had been, but it was a start.
