[PRP-Border] Wait You're not Yue (Boinedal x Meztli)

Boinedal had joined the outside rebellion it was still making his head swim. It had been a decision he had made in the spur of the moment when he had thought the Yue was in danger. He wouldn't have taken it back for anything but now he worried about his family that remained in the pride.

The blonde maned lion made his way around the rogue lands he had been out here a few times but never this far out. The border of the pride just barely in view. Boinedal didn't really know what he had gotten himself into, he hadn't even met any of Yue'shi's family. She had always been very candid about the family she had out here. He knew that she wasn't alone but nothing more. Soon he would meet them all though, or at least he assumed he would.

Suddenly there seemed so much to do and very little time to do it. Meztli paced confidently around the familiar area. She'd grown up her whole life in this no man's land around her father's pride. Soon, she hoped, all his work would finally come to fruit. The purple lioness glanced back at her trail. Even a notice should be able to notice and follow that! There was so many groups out now looking for them. She'd heard her twin sister had had a run in with such a group. Thankfully no blood had been shed. Meztli wondered how she'd accomplished that feat. At the time Yue had edged about it.

The lioness frowned briefly. Next time she saw Yue she'd remember to ask. For now, she resumed her obvious trot to lay another false trail to confusing would be assassins. They might be after her father, but they could easily take on one of the other family. The more confusion they could create the better protected their family would be. It probably won't deter a very determined individual, Meztli reminded herself. She couldn't let arrogance blind her.

Boinedal was lost in his thoughts but smiled when he looked up and saw the tell tale purple pelt of the lioness he could now confidently call his mate. A smile grew across is maw as he made his way towards her. Coming from behind his brow wrinkled looking at the strange way she was walking. She must be setting up trails, he thought to himself.

Picking up his speed he moved up beside her "Yue, I've missed you." Really they hadn't been apart too long but she needed to go back to her family and tell them of what happened and prepare them for Boinedal. It was a trying time and suspicions fell on everyone. He was a lion from in the pride that no one other then Yue knew it was only natural if the family had questions. Boinedal had to admit though he was anxious to see the size of her family. Having now met one of her brothers he wondered how many siblings she had.

She hadn't expected anyone to find these oh so obvious 'follow me' trails quite yet. Ruefully she should have considered the possibility. As it was, Meztli still pulled up short as a male lion came up behind her. Shards! Her mother was always warning her to be aware of her surroundings. She eyed him warily expecting him to attack her at any moment. Belatedly she realized he'd called her not by her but by her twin's.

The lioness regarded him more carefully. She didn't know this male, yet he knew her twin's name. What was going on here? Yue clearly wasn't telling her something. Something important! How could her quiet twin do this to her? She had to improvise, and quickly.

"Oh um. Hello. I um, missed you too." Meztli thought quickly. She needed to act more like her twin. "So what are you doing here at this time?" She smiled and tried to act and sound more like Yue. Judging by his words there was something more than friendship going on here. Did her father know? Oh why hadn't Yue told her!

Boinedal moved froward to offer Yue'shi a nuzzle but stopped when something didn't seem right. The pelt on this lioness was identical to that of Yue'shi and yet he was fairly certain it wasn't her.

"I was waiting for you to come back." he answered cautiously. He figured this lioness had to be related to Yue. His eyes continued to scan the lioness before they fell on the difference he had noticed subconsciously, the eye colour. Yue had crystal blue eyes and this lioness had purple eyes that matched mane.

Boinedal sat back unsure of how to proceed with this lioness that looked so much like his mate.

*giggles* poor Boin!

Despite her attempt to act like Yue, she couldn't help but flinch just a tiny bit when he tried to give her a nuzzle. Ugh! Definitely more than friends here. She was gonna give Yue a piece of her mind next time she saw her twin! Meztli cleared her throat awkwardly. "Oh right. Sorry I um got delayed...." she trailed off lamely. The lioness watched him sit back confused. Damn, looked like the game was up.

"So. How did you meet?" Dark purple eyes regarded the male. She wished she knew more about him. Her father might know, but did he know about Yue and this male? Damn, damn and damn again! She wanted to get as much information about him as she could. What class and rank was he? she wondered.
