CHILDHOODPhineas Elijah Levy was originally born Glenda Elham Levy, a bouncing baby girl. She was the daughter of two educators, her mother Abigail teaching in university, Physics to be her exact subject matter, and her father Micah teaching upper level Literature. She was taught she could be whatever and whoever she wanted to be, that the sky was her limit and even then to transcend it, and that no matter what they would always love her. However Glenda knew something that they all seemed to miss; Glenda wasn't a girl. Not really anyway. On the outside yes, she looked physically like a girl, but on the inside she was a boy, a he. She could feel it. She felt it every time her mother put her in a dress, whenever she went to Hebrew School and they taught her about how ladies were to respect themselves and their chosen husbands, when she was given dolls instead of that silly putty that made fart noises. She had been so sure something was wrong with her while her family just explained it away. She would grow up and be a respectable young lady. Just wait and see. But she waited, and waited, and waited, and those feelings never decreased. If anything they got worse. Not knowing what to do, her parents took her to a psychologist at the ripe age of nine and a half. By this time she had the presence of a little sister who acted the way she was supposed to which only confused and angered Glenda even more. After a series of tests and talks and tears it was discovered, or rather discussed, that little Glenda might be trans-gendered. A boy trapped in the body of a girl. Her parents were, of course, skeptical and went to garner a second opinion. And then a third. The only other options were that she was suffering from some sort of personality disorder that they recommended a boatload of medication and therapy and maybe, just maybe, she'd be normal before she hit thirty. Glenda's parents didn't want to admit at first that Glenda might not be a Glenda but after looking at the facts, then looking up some more facts on their own research, then conversing with the psychologists, they finally accepted it. Glenda was no more. Or rather, Glenda never existed. At the age of eleven and two months, Phineas Levy was born and he couldn't be happier. Despite his immediate family's positive reactions, the rest of his family wasn't so forgiving, thinking that his parents had coddled and spoiled him into defying nature. Some thankfully turned around their thinking while others were obstinate in their ways. One such being was Bubbe Levy, his father's mother who would make several derogatory remarks in just the first hour if Phineas showed up in his usual male-wear rather than one of those horrid frilly dresses she insisted on sending. After several family blow ups, walk outs, door slams, and threats of banishment (he still didn't believe it) it was decided that Phineas would dress more cautiously when his Bubbe came for a visit. Or just camp out at a friend's home and hope for the best like Passover. Since the age of twelve he'd been receiving transitional medicines and therapies to ensure that his body progressed at the normal and natural rate of a teen male's and so far so good. He was just thankful Glenda wasn't an early bloomer or things could have gotten messy.
SCHOOL YEARS
CLASS NINENothing of any real excitement happened. Well his friend Gabriel decided to be a turd and had them sneak out of the dorms one night to see a drag show in the city. He didn't really see the appeal but he did admit it was rather fun. At least until they were caught. CLASS TENFinn tried out for the BYBA in early June mainly at his director's discretion not thinking he'd get anywhere and was amazed that got in and was able to compete in competitions in September. He'd made Cadet class though he had tried for Championship and was happy with what he got. His Bubbe came for Hanukkah which had been a real treat and he had basically made it one full day of passive aggressiveness and blatant provocation before he left to stay with Gabe for the remainder of the holiday. CLASS ELEVENThe family went to stay with his mum's parents on their commune for the holidays and Finn enjoyed getting to see how other cultures celebrated their traditions besides Christianity and Santa Claus being thrown down his gullet. CLASS TWELVEIt was odd knowing he was about to graduate and be off in the world in just a few short months, it was odder still that Caty Blake kissed him at his sister's Bat Mitzvah. But odd was good. Odd was ruddy well terrific.
POST GRADUATIONFinn was accepted into his first choice college and received a good scholarship as well as a study aide job on campus. The school didn't mind his reassignment and got him into a small apartment-like dorm with no problem. He has a girlfriend now, which is still rather baffling to him at times, who was an honest to God witch. Though really the fact that he had awkwardly been crushing on liked him back was a much bigger shocker.
Uni has been good for Finn so far, and he's even recently joined a local D&D charter (though now he just kind of chuckles because he knows actual magicians). Speaking of them, he's met more of Caty's friends (all ridiculously good looking, ugh) and he's actually gotten on good terms with two of her male friends. One of which is actually a muggle like him and goes to the same university. Now if only he could avoid the random double dates his girlfriend keeps trying to drag him into to get them together.
During his last year of residency, Finn finally managed to pop the question and Caty, to no one but his own surprise, said yes. They moved out of his small university flat into a slightly larger one and he was thankfully able to find a good job through his connections at his school's hospital. It's good hours and he actually gets the weekends off so he's pretty happy. Between all that he's also been helping Caty with their wedding planning and not at all surprised anymore by the amount of glitter she and his sister have managed to track into their living room.
During the Spring of 2047, he and Caty got married surrounded by all their friends and families and he was honestly still pinching himself to make sure it was all real. Tears were shed, mostly from him he could admit it, and he was now living the life of a happy husband to an amazingly brilliant wife. Who seemed to think she was being subtle by Googling the nearest orphanages and not clearing her history.
After long talks, Finn finally went with Caty to the orphanage to visit but ended up falling in love with a little boy named Kai on their very first trip. After several others, they concluded they wanted to adopt him and in the summer it was finalized and they were able to bring him home.

Sometimes more than just duct tape but she hasn't met that problem just yet. ◊ WITTYThe term 'sassy' is much too oblique a term for her. When she decides to grace and beguile you, please believe it shall be both informative and hilarious. ◊ OBSTINATEWhen she's right she's right and when she's wrong, she's still finding ways of proving she was actually right. She has no problem with other's opinions but don't come for hers unless have a twelve page essay, single space, works cited, and an annotated bibliography. ◊ ECCENTRICErzsi's fashion sense, and color sense for that matter, are filled with loud and bright colors and choices. If she decides to wear a jean jacket vest with a black and gold starred mini skirt, then that's her decision. Her website designs also tend to follow this trend so unless they've given her parameters, prepared to be blinded. ◊ SHREWDShe never takes things at face-value, there's always a hidden message, a second lever, and underground tunnel within everything a person does or says. And if there isn't than that person is one dimensional and probably hella boring. ◊ VAINShe unfortunately did not inherent the tall willowy stature of her mother like her older brother did but rather the shorter squat version of her father. Though just a tad more topheavy than he is. In primary and secondary, it had caught her attention that she was a bit more curvy than the other girls in her year as well as a lot of them at their synagogue. She tries to downplay how much it affects her by emphasizing the positive parts of her body much to her father's chagrin.

CHILDHOODErzsi is the second daughter and youngest of the Levy clan and ensures everyone knows it. From an early age she enjoyed bright flamboyant colors and outfits along with trying on her mother's makeup and high heels. She didn't realize that her older sister didn't also enjoy it until she was around five and learned that she didn't have an older sister anymore but an older brother. Which sort of made sense to her since he never really felt like a sister, you know? That and it meant all of "Glenda's" clothes got to be donated and she got first pick of the litter. It wasn't much since her supposed sister didn't have the same eye for fashion as the little girl did but she still found some good things. Erzsi was and is a girl of many talents having picked up her father's flair for the dramatics along with her mother's shrewd and intelligent nature, in short: she was awesome. Point blank period. While she wasn't as scientifically minded as her mother and brother, she still did alright but her real passion was within the arts. She started acting in school plays while still in primary much to her father's joy since it meant he could read her more of his literature without her mother stating that he was trying to sway her to the dark side. Really she just liked being the center of attention along with some costume changes. Then when she was nine, while visiting her grandparents at their commune and bemoaning the lack of netflix and wifi, she got roped into a game of football and was immediately hooked. She hadn't been the most surefooted player out there but what she lacked in finesse she more than made up in effort and plain strength. While she generally switched between left back and defensive midfielder, her true calling was in being a stopper. Her final game in primary school, she had actually sprained a kid's knee, it had been epic! Her fine arts and sportsmanship earned her the gaze of a prestigious school just outside Exeter called Blundell's. While her parents' made a good salary from teaching the tuition was still a tad pricey but she had been happily given a scholarship and readily enrolled as a flexi and full-time boarder.

◊ YEAR SIXTHESE UNIFORMS ARE HORRIBLE SEND HELP. Also I got second string left field which is ok but not great. But on the plus side I was moved up to a higher level French. Watching those soap operas finally paid off, whoo! ◊ YEAR SEVENThat quasi boarding they roomed us in is making me physically ill. It's like a mad cross between Sesame Street and The Good Place. But like, the bad place really. And they keep ******** asking me "are you fully prepared for your next venture"?? I SURE AS ******** HOPE I AM MARTHA BUT YOU ASKING AIN'T ALL THAT HELPFUL IF I WEREN'T. Also I was promoted to stopper for a full game and I swear I totally winding some gullie from South and it was e p i c. ◊ YEAR EIGHTOphelia Humbert can suck a rotten egg and apparently the dicks of every judge because THAT PART SHOULD'VE BEEN FOR ME. I was practically BUILT for that part and no one can tell me otherwise! But it's fine. I'm cool. Drama isn't my only thing. I got roped into taking band this year (mainly at Finn's prodding but also Billie's) and I really really like the bass guitar. I tried the harp for #aesthetic but apparently my "hard lumbering fingers" would better benefit a bass or ukulele. Well suck it cuz now I'm doing both. I also had my Bat Mitzvah this year which was aweessommeeee, especially when my main gift was a trip to Euro Disney. Hells yeah! ◊ YEAR NINEDisney was as epic, like it wasn't going to be, and I'm pretty sure I spent a good chunk of my mitzvah money there but it was so. ********. Worth it. I got placed in Gorton boarding and honestly? It's better than I expected. A few girls from the football team are also there so it's nice to hang with them and complain after practice now, plus they're one of the few dorms with a working kitchen so I was FINNALLLYYY able to make a good bowl of popcorn while watching my dramas. For educational purposes only, honest. Plus I managed to win a second place at the talent show with my rendition of Pinball Wizard which was ******** ace. Especially over that bra stuffing b***h Ophelia. Also I managed to be a full time left fielder for the team and we allmooosttt won the title. We'll get it next year though, promise that! ◊ YEAR TENGod all these tests are killing me, I'm quite literally going insane. I couldn't remember a meme the other day and nearly cried, I'm around the bend. The only thing keeping me spare these days seems were my bass lessons, football, and a graphic design class. My adviser told me it looked good on my transcripts to have some sort of computer class on there so I took the first one that looked interesting and. woah. I honestly think I'm in love. Sorry Jaffa cakes...and Patrick Vorsche. ◊ YEAR ELEVENDopey nearly died during the summer after he mistakenly tried to make a home out of one of the deflated balls my cousins left lying around. I saved him just in time, though he definitely earned his namesake. That was pretty much the most interesting thing that happened all year. Still dying, still awesome, I would request Harry Styles to sing at my funeral. That is all. ◊ YEAR TWELVEI've never more internalized the ancient meme of "big mood" more than I have this year. I'm pretty sure I nearly saw the light right as I was finishing my last tests. Praise Adonai, now I only have....four more ******** years of tests. Ugghhhhhhhh.
POST GRADUATIONAfter graduating from Blundell's with acceptable (in her words) marks, Zee was easily accepted at her father's alma mater and current employer the University of Exeter with a football scholarship. She completely surprised her family instead of going into a fine art, she decided to major in computer science. In school, she took a liking to a graphic design class and was introduced to coding, programming and the like and quickly found her niche. Zee also took a minor in modern language to excuse all her years of French and Latin, but also because Portuguese seemed fun to learn. She's still got about a year or so left and she's no closer to finding a job than she was when she started. She just really hopes it's not stuck in IT support.
In her last few years at uni, Zee managed to befriend some of her brother's fiance's friends and accidentally on purpose join a rock band as a bassist. Her parents had been afraid that the new gig would interfere with her school work and blahblahblah but she made it work. She wasn't a genius for nothing! For example, she managed to graduate just fine, not suma c** laude like certain people but Dean's List so really nothing to sneeze at. She got a part-time job working as, ugghh, IT support at a big business and when not practicing she's even managed to sell a few of her website designs. Now if a guy would fall magically into her lap, her life would truly be complete.
See, when she said "magically" she'd meant it as a "haha" joke not a "HAHAHA SOMEONE GO GET THE MIB FORGET RAY" joke. Because surprise! Magic was real, it was literally right bloody next door and her brother's FREAKING FIANCE WAS A GODDAMN WITCH AND FOR ******** YEEAARRSSS HER BEST FRIEND HAD KEPT THIS A SECRET FROM HER??? Suffice to say, Zee had not been happy to only been told this after some crazy guy unleashed middle earth in the middle of London. The actual hell! Between Duane and Finn she hadn't been sure who she was madder at so she just settled on both. But then Finn got married and it was hard to stay mad at someone when they looked that besotted. And then Duane was going as her plus one to another friend's wedding (******** hell allot of people her age were getting married or having babies, was this one of those sign things?) so in the prospect of not having a sucky evening, she'd decided to forgive him. For now.

■ ENERGETICIt takes a lot to make Caty stand still. She's constantly moving, jumping, fidgeting or creating mock sword fights with her friends. Or real sword fights if steel were available. ■ PERSUASIVEFrom an early age she found out that being the youngest of the family, especially the youngest girl, came with some very special perks. One being that if she pouted enough or made the right sized teary eye she would get what she wanted. Now that she's older the pouting is still the same but the teary eye had evolved more into a "logical" debate that would result in what she wanted. ■ TENACIOUSOnce she's had her mind set upon something she will do her everything to ensure it comes into fruition. Using whatever means necessary. This also means that whatever thought or opinion that she's gathered onto she will not relinquish without a fight; figurative or literal she has no problem with either. ■ PRAGMATICWhile she does enjoy a friendly spar now and then, Caty would rather handle issues with a sensible and cool head rather than go charging blindly into battle. She's also very practical and tries to plan ahead so that even if she ends up losing she'll gain something from it. ■ POSSESSIVENot of possessions mind, but of people. Especially those closest to her which would be her father, brothers, and single female cousin. She has a hard time letting go and accepting that they will eventually move on and marry because she's afraid that they will leave her behind and that will be that. ■ SELF-SACRIFICINGIn accordance with her pragmatic approach, she can be entirely too selfless when time comes. She would rather pay the price for the greater battle than allow something bad happen to someone else that she cares about. CHILDHOODI was born to a mom I don't remember and had been at Wool's orphanage ever since. There weren't a lot of people to hang out with since everyone was either much older than me or much younger so I mainly stuck to myself which got boring after awhile. When I was around three years old my dads came and adopted me and my older brothers Kenny and Rhys making us one big family. I also gained some aunts and a lot of cousins, my favorite being Pru though I make sure not to tell the others. A few years ago my Aunt Siobhan remarried a man named Wesley Edgeworth and she and my cousins went and moved into his huge estate which was really nice for them but kinda sad because I couldn't hang around them as much. Not that I really could since they were much older than me and were already heading to Hogwarts, but still! It was shortly after that that my Dad Aedan started distancing himself from the family. He works as a broomstick inventor and one of them blew up rather spectacularly (in a good way!) and he started working longer and longer hours to keep up with production. I understood, really, but it stopped being small stuff like being late to dinner or staying in the barn until after midnight and snowballed into huger and huger stuff. Like missing Siobhan's wedding. And barely coming out for Christmas. It got so bad that my oldest brother left home to stay with our aunt and my second oldest just stopped talking. He'd always been quiet and prone to silence but now it was much different. Finally, my Da couldn't take it any longer and filed for divorce and on the day that my other Dad was supposed to come to court and fight for custody agreements....he didn't. He just...didn't. So now I'm heading to Hogwarts excited because I'd been waiting for forever and a day for this to happen but I'm sad and worried because my Da will be alone for the first time in a long time. I know he'll have Siobhan and Kenny and everyone but I still worry about him. He just looks so sad.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEARFirst year was spectacular! I made so many new friends and I even got sorted into the house I wanted: Slytherin! I mean I know I could've easily gone into Hufflepuff or even Gryffindor but Slytherin was my real mission. The only sour part of the year was Rhys and his...anger issues. He said some really mean and hurtful things to me during the year and..maybe it's better I just stay out of his way from now on. SECOND YEARMe and Rhys made up during the summer and even though I still sorta stay away from him, I do it to respect his privacy more than being afraid of him. Well that and I still don't want anyone to discover my little habit. It's actually not getting so little anymore and I'm a bit worried but I still don't want to stop. I don't really know if I can. THIRD YEARWas a bit topsy turvy. I kept having those weird mood swings only I don't think I hid them quite as well as I did at home. My stress reliever also isn't working like it used to so I'm trying different ones. FOURTH YEARMy mood swings got worse, way way worse, so worse that I practically killed Ada! Ok so not really but still, I had one of them while I was with her in a hallway one night and then poof! She was gone and we were stuck with a weird substitute the rest of the year. Also my da found out about my coping mechanism, I don't really know how since I really doubt Leon would go snitching to an adult, but I'm so not looking forward to one of his "talks" FIFTH YEARI've decided to make a few changes about myself, especially since going to therapy regularly instead of running away like I used to. I dyed my hair and started dressing in this style I found online called "pastel punk" which I rather liked. I've also apologized to all my friends who I felt like I'd either ignored or hurt during the years I was dealing with my own issues and I think I'm finally starting to feel a little normal. I still have my moodswings and all but Mr. Niall has me on a regime that I think is actually working. SIXTH YEARWas pretty normal. which is great for me! My moodswings barely happened at all and when they did I began those breathing exercises and did my other stress relievers that Mr. Niall told me to do. And it actually worked, I can't believe how, uh, crazy I'd been acting the past few years. Plus the extra boost of sanity gave me an extra boost in the confidence department to finally go after Finn. SEVENTH YEARAgain, not much happened, which was great because goodness knows I needed all the time to study for my tests. And figure out a place where the renting people don't mind allot of fire...
POST GRADUATIONI'm still staying with my Da, aunt and uncle until Finn is done with school so we could move in together so it's almost like before I started Hogwarts. I've found a small place for a great price to start welding together my different projects and I'm saving up to rent a cart in Diagon to sell my wares. Maybe in the future I'll have enough to have an actual shop!
In the Spring of 2047, me and Finn finally finally FINALLY walked down the glitter filled aisle towards wedded bliss. The wedding was literally everything I had been imagining since he placed a ring on my finger and I have never ever ever been happier. Now I'm just wondering which piece of news to surprise him with first; that I have enough money to start placing my jewelry in actual shops, or that I've already started looking into adoption. In the late fall of 2048, I convinced Finn to join me for a day at the orphanage just to have a look around when we ran into the most Adorable little boy! We helped him fix a train and spent time playing with him and on our combined days off would go and visit little Kai until we finally asked him about adoption. In the summer, it was all finalized and now, we have a baby boy!

His creative thinking sometimes lands him in trouble, but luckily it also works well for getting out of trouble too.
xxxxx⇾Cᴜʀɪᴏᴜs: Kai loves asking questions and learning how things work. It allows him to learn at his own pace, picking up knowledge as he chooses. Sometimes he'll interrogate for hours, but he absolutely thrives on it.
xxxxx⇾Sɪʟʟʏ: Whether it's a mid-day dance party or an bad jokes of his own invention, Kai has a knack for bringing a smile to everyone's faces. He can tell when people need cheering up and he usually knows just how to do it.
xxxxx⇾Lᴏᴠɪɴɢ: When Kai finds someone to love, he loves deeply. He'd do anything at all for someone he loves, even if it's a self-sacrificial move. His love is innocent and pure, and usually manifests with little "gifts" Kai thinks the person might enjoy.
xxxxx⇾Cᴀᴜᴛɪᴏᴜs: Thanks to his strict upbringing, Kai is incredibly careful about doing things. He often asks permission before touching things, especially when it's something he doesn't know much about. Sometimes his over abundance of caution causes him to delay in his critical thinking, since he's scared of getting in trouble for his choices.

No matter his emotions, he seeks out other people for help and affection, especially when he thinks something bad might be coming. Sometimes his clingy nature can be subdued with stuffed animals, but usually a big hug or a pat on the head will cheer him up.

xxx𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx Born to a single mother, Malakai had to learn to deal with not seeing her often. She worked three jobs, and whenever home was usually too tired to do much beyond cuddly naps. Normally, time was spent with his elderly grandmother, who honestly didn't like Kai, since he was a b*****d child. That usually manifested in strict rules for the child, despite his budding curiosity.
His grandmother's annoyance came to a boil when he accidentally broke the tv in an attempt to change to cartoons. The woman was furious, threatening to hurt Kai until his mom came home and decided they'd try to stay somewhere else that night. On the way, Kai tried to sing along to his favorite songs, a game which usually his mom participated in. After driving for what seemed like forever, she spoke, quietly apologizing to him. Of course, this confused the four-year-old, though he initially blamed it on being really sleepy. Suddenly, lights in front of the car got really bright, then he heard the screeching of metal as his body rattled in the car.
It took a while, but Kai was pulled to safety by a fireman and taken on a ride in an ambulance. His mind was full of worry, but he didn't have Mr Phant to snuggle since he'd been in the car too. Luckily, the ambulance doctor was really nice and let him snuggle in her jacket. While at the hospital, a nice doctor told him the fate of his mother and held him while he wept. As the day went on, the boy overheard some doctors saying it was a miracle anyone survived, which confused Kai. A few days later, a professional looking guy took Kai away from the hospital, taking him to a "special home" for kids without parents. Kai didn't really understand, especially with his odd new diagnoses of tourettes. He just wanted to go home and stop hurting for a while....
While at the orphanage, Kai had to learn to deal with his new tics (at least that's what the doctor had called them), which included making odd noise and twitching. His biggest issue was not being able to control any of it at all. Plus, he was pretty sure that Wool's had extra monsters under their beds, despite people saying they really didn't. He just wanted to go back home, but even Grandma didn't want to care for him since his mama wasn't there anymore. For now, he'd stay... at least until he worked up the nerve to run away....
After being at Wool's only a few short months, Kai met a lovely couple called Finn and Caty. They helped fix a toy train, then they played and talked... a lot. And they didn't even comment on his weird twitches! A few more visits cemented their mutual affection, and shortly after summer fell, Finn and Caty officially adopted Kai, saying he'd never feel unloved again. Plus apparently they had a huge family, which was super awesome!
Once he was adopted, Kai was moved to a nice school, where he actually made a few friends that didn't mind when he glitched out. After they'd settled in, the family agreed to bring in another kiddo from Wool's. After a few meetings... well, they adopted two. Now Kai was a proud big brother of two little sisters. They were practically twins, but apparently they had different birthdays (and parents, but not anymore!). A couple years later earned Kai his Hogwarts letter. Holy cow, he was officially magical, and he was going to be going to Hogwarts, just like mom.
xxx𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈xxx Kai had been pretty excited for school, even though Cousin Reggie had graduated the year before. But he'd have Simon, and even though Simon was quiet, he was super nice. In Kai's first year, Simon showed his mettle, saving Kai from a bully. Heck, Simon even yelled at the guy! The next couple years passed by without too many difficulties, but he and Simon did get to hang out more (though it was usually studying).
At the beginning of his fourth year, Kai got to bring Everly and Ruthie with him to school, and both girls joined him in Ravenclaw. It was pretty awesome (even though it meant Ruthie stole even more of his sweaters). That year was Simon's last, but it meant Kai was the oldest of their family still there. The next summer, Reggie and his girl, Aspen, got married, and the whole family got to attend the party. It was super fancy, even if it did make his allergies go crazy. The next year passed by in a flurry of studies, but it all seemed to work out at exam time.

xxx𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx Everly was born to Leanne Fagan, who -despite her situation as a single mother- did her best for Everly. She worked as a mechanic and encouraged her daughter's creative spirit, even though the girl hated going into the shop. It was loud and hectic, but unfortunately, some days after daycare there wasn't an option. One day, when Everly was at preschool, her mom got into an accident at work and tragically passed away.
Everly was taken by a nice man to a new place to live, where she would be able to wait for a new family to take her in. It didn't make much sense at first, but the people that owned Wool's explained it better and promised hugs and stories when she needed it. Everly, however, started becoming something of a sister to the other kids, including using her tiny toolkit to help the others with small repair jobs with toys... or batteries... or anything else she could get her hands on. One of the kids in particular, Ruth, quickly became a friend, one who made Everly smile every time she saw her.
As Ruth and Everly became closer, people started assuming they were sisters, which the girls happily agreed to. Especially when they learned that people thought they'd have to adopt them both, because neither could (or would) like to be alone. Enter the Levy family. They apparently fell for both the girls, then propositioned Ruth and Everly to be adopted together. The girls agreed.
Living with a new family was weird, especially when they realized the family was secretly huge. But it was cool! Everly made fast friends with Uncle Rhys, who was an inventor just like her! Then again, the whole family was pretty cool. And with some practice, Everly picked up signing, which seemed to be how several people communicated. Once she could sign, Evie finally felt she fit in.
Eventually the girls were old enough to receive their own Hogwarts letters, so they set out to prepare for their ultimate journey. Ruthie stocked up on even more sweaters from various family members, meaning Evie needed her own comfort items. Finally, she settled on comfy hats, just like cousin Simon always wore. Sure, his was mostly to cover his colorful hair, but whatever!
With a little help from Ruth (and a distraction from Kai), Everly sneaked into Simon's (weirdly clean) room. Aha! Hats! She grabbed a few, including his favorite ear-flap hat, and scurried out) With her little treasure stuffed into her trunk, she and Ruth were finally ready to join the family at Hogwarts.

Anytime either were asked, they told people they were twins. Heck, they basically were anyway. At the end of that year, Simon graduated, but he seemed quite happy to start a future. And Evie was glad to keep going. Year two, they learned more from their classes, joined a few extra clubs, and even met more friends... but they always made sure to spend time together.

◊ PERSISTANTRuth likes figuring out the truth for herself and is very dogged in her approach to it. If she can't find answers she considers satisfactory then she will dig deeper and deeper and until she does. Before or after exhaustion is not really important. ◊ SKITTISHDespite her rather large and supportive family, she's still shy and wary around new people and will usually stand or hide behind a nearby family member until she concluded the new person was not an issue. ◊ PARANOIDNot as violent as it used to be but Ruth still practices vigilance. Every new person is a potential threat until proven otherwise, every call is a scam, every puppy is secretly a kidnapping *****, etc.etc. Her siblings help her unwind now and again but sometimes she's still right. ◊ PERCEPTIVEDue to her paranoia, Ruth makes sure she’s nearly always one step ahead of anything so she never gets surprised and thus can’t become nervous. It’s very hard to hide something from her whether it be a secret or a hidden snack. ◊ RESOURCEFULSince she’s afraid of nearly everyone and asking for help is nearly always out the question, Ruth has gotten very good at figuring out stuff for herself. CHILDHOODRuth was born to her parents Avila and Hrodger Hoefler. Her mother was a historian at a small museum and her father was a wizard who secretly worked in misinformation. He never told his wife what he was but had plans to if his daughter showed any inclination towards magic. Unfortunately, he wouldn’t get the chance as nearly a year after his daughter’s birth he would be in muggle London during a magical fiasco and bitten by a runespoor. By the time he could apparate to St. Mungos it was too late for him and he succumbed to the venomous bite. Avila was told the appropriate lie made by magical authorities and while suspicious, was too busy grieving to really question it. However, when Ruth began showing signs of magic, Avila’s grip on reality began to slide. She began believing it was because of her daughter’s gifts that her husband was somehow killed and that Someone was always watching them, waiting for them to slip so they could kill her as well. And she would tell this to her young daughter enforcing strict codes of conduct upon the girl to constantly be vigilant and to trust no one. Some days were nice than others with the mother teaching her young daughter Norse legends, her specialty at the museum, and helping her with reading. When Avila didn’t show up to work for two weeks without call or notice, police were sent to her home where they found black out curtains over every window, a filthy Ruth scrounging what she could from the pantry and a rambling Avila in the living room painting different sigils on the floor. Ruth was effectively taken from her care and placed at Wool’s who she believed worked for the All Knowing Thing her mother always talked about. In the year she was there she refused to talk to or interact with anyone until a girl her age came in. It took a while, but Ruth eventually warmed up to Everly enough to actually befriend her.
Before her second year full year at the orphanage, Ruth and Evie were approached by a very weird couple who wished to adopt. She thought they were going to for a baby but instead they wanted the both of them. It's weird suddenly having a new family but so far so...good?
SCHOOL YEARS
◊ FIRST YEARStarting a new school was scary and even though she had Everly with her and she was going to be with her big brother and older cousins, it still felt like she was going to a whole different planet! In order to prepare, she made a stash of just about everyone's sweater or jacket she'd "borrowed" so when she missed them she would have something. When she arrived at the school she was sorted into Ravenclaw with her brother and sister which was good since she wasn't sure how she'd make it in a whole different house. School itself wasn't that much different than before-even with magic!-and she even managed to have a little bit of fun! ◊ SECOND YEARNothing really happened this year. ■ BASHFULBecky right off the bat is quiet and a bit of a shy girl. She doesn’t like being in the spotlight and tends to worry when she is. To say she’s not always sure of herself would not be wrong though she tries not to think about it. As such, she’s not quick to share her thoughts or feelings with others right away. Though she’s full of them for sure. With time she will come to share things with others. ■ INQUISITVEBecky has a large curiosity. She likes to know things and she prefers to ask loads of questions. Though it takes her time before she does so, the moment she warms up be ready. At times she can come off a bit on the nosy side, but she truly means well. Luckily her curiosity leads her to books more so then people which keeps her out of trouble. ■ STUDIOUSHer enjoyment of books certainly helps with Becky’s studies. She could bury herself in textbooks and be content. If there is a book to learn it, she’ll read it. She has a large attention span for reading for hours on end. Not to mention a great attention to detail. Recalling a lot of information that she’s read from memory. Her studies are pretty important to her and they are something she deeply values. ■ DETERMINATIONBecky is a determined girl especially when it comes to her grades. She will spend all day and all night improving herself. Once she sets her mind to something there is just no stopping her, no matter how out there her mind takes her. CHILDHOODRebecca or Becky as she prefers to be called was the only child of Thomas and Karen Steed. February was always a big deal for the family. The three of them would celebrate like it was the only month that mattered. It was almost like a second Christmas in comparison to Becky. So, when that all went away the girl began to wonder if it would ever be great again. All she had was her books until one day a couple came in looking for a kid to take home. Seems they chose her because she was taken away from Wool’s to their home. Where she had parents and siblings, a family just for her. Becca couldn’t be happier.
Being the youngest Becky watched her siblings head off to Hogwarts. She didn't mind them leaving her, what with being used to people leaving in her life, mostly to good homes. Though, she missed them until summer rolled around. Before she knew it, Becky had received her letter for Hogwarts. She too would be going and didn't know what to really expect. Would she get to be with her sisters' only time would tell. Though she was a little excited.
