beaulolais Prof. Moonie After watching the finale of Ride With Norman Reedus, I would love to try the "Swamp Combo" from Joanie’s Blue Crab Café. It's got frog legs, gator nuggets, crab cake, Indian fry bread with Joanie's famous salsa and a side of cole slaw. I've eaten frog legs before and enjoyed them. However, I'm curious on what gator tastes like. When Norman tried them, he said that it tasted like a combination of chicken and calamari. sweatdrop have you tried turtle? that is what gator reminds me of. in my Northeastern US city we have a gator BBQ of all things! surprised it also seems a little bit like duck; you know, more on the dark than light side. No, I haven't tried turtle. It's another one of those meats that harder to find on a menu around here in the Northwest. Probably the only place you'll find it is at the special meat stores that sell those unique choices.
I think I've only had duck once, so I wouldn't remember the taste of it. sweatdrop
