I've been in the mood for some of the Librarian's finger sandwiches she makes (i.e. cucumber). She's had them a couple of times for a few of the Screen Reads (a book club I'm part of where we read a book and then watch the movie
that's based on it) meetings we've had at the library. That sounds like a fun club. I've been dabbling just a tiny bit on getting back into original fiction writing...
It is especially since a majority of the participants are my friends. So, we really get into it and like making fun of the movie as we watch it. Not to mention, Karen (the Librarian) always makes food for us that matches the theme of the book. For example, for The Martian, practically everything contained potatoes (i.e. baked potato with dressings and chili, potato chips, Idaho Spud candy, etc.). For Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, she made Cauldron cupcakes, chocolate frogs, and a few other items. It's always fun just going and seeing what she's done to reflect the book ((most food items being pulled from what's mentioned in the text itself)).
