CHILDHOOD Gi-Seung was born onto a muggleborn father and a pureblood mother along with her older brother and two younger siblings. From what she remembers of her early childhood, things were relatively happy. She got along well with all her siblings, especially the youngest girl who she affectionately calls "Mi-Mi" and thought that her parents were happy as well. However she learned that this was in fact not the case when her parents divorced and her father quickly remarried and had another little girl with his new wife. She now feels a bit off-kilter with everything, not understanding how two people supposedly in love could fall out of love so quickly as to have married and had a child within a year and a half. While she hasn't warmed up to her new step-mother, Gi doesn't feel any ill will to her youngest sister and treats her as she would any of her other siblings. Despite it all, she felt that things were slowly getting back to normal readily ignoring the fighting that was happening between her parents until the inexcusable occurred. After her older brother left for Hogwarts, a custody agreement had been brought in place leaving her and her older brother with their mother while their younger siblings went with their father. Gi was heartbroken and lonely now having no one to talk to and no one to defend with her mother always busy with something and her brother away at school for months during the year. Whenever Ji was there though, they would both sneak out the house and catch the Knight Bus over to their father's to visit with their siblings. It was nice but it didn't make up for everything. But she'd be at Hogwarts soon so, at least she'd see Ji during the year again.

SCHOOL YEARS

FIRST YEAR Was amazing! She was sorted into Gryffindor and made some new friends in all the houses. She even got on the school newspaper as a photographer! She didn't do much except maybe take a few shots at Quidditch but it was amazing nonetheless!
SECOND YEAR Her second year was even better! Due to a surprising number (ie very little) of students enthused about Quidditch, Gi found herself joining the fray and being put in the reserves which suited her just fine. She took more pictures for the newspaper and has been considering possibly joining either dueling or fencing.
THIRD YEAR This year was pretty cool since she had all new classes to attend. She was really excited about them and about the more responsibility she was getting in newspaper club. She was also still on the Quidditch team, but mainly out of loyalty. And because Drew would drag her down to the pitch anyhow. Speaking of Drew,
she finally told her what had been bothering her, which had been really wild!
She was apparently related to Professor Whitethorne through her uncle? Or an in law or something. Either way, it was pretty weird.
FOURTH YEAR Fourth year wasn't very exciting either besides all the extra homework she'd been given for studying for her OWL's next year. She also rejoined music club (could she rejoin if she never actually left just stopped showing up??) Regardless, it'd been fun playing the flute again during the year and she was getting better at Quidditch. Thankfully Unfortunately not enough to be put in a game yet.
FIFTH YEAR She's pretty sure she saw the light at the end of the tunnel quite a few times during her study sessions in the library. What had possessed her to take so many classes?! At least she had friends in the same boat as her to whine to, plus music club to help keep her from imploding with stress.
SIXTH YEAR This year started off pretty promising with a nice decrease in classes but then the unexpected happened: she had made it to starter on the Quidditch team. It's not that she didn't like the game, it certainly kept her in tiptop shape and it gave her amazing photos for her portfolio, but even after nearly four years of playing, she still felt rather inadequate out on the pitch. Thankfully she didn't get hit with the bludger too often and she even managed to almost score once!...in practice!
SEVENTH YEAR Her final year was a whirlwind between studying for her NEWT's, Quidditch, the newspaper, and building her final portfolio. She was glad to be graduating but sad at the same time. She might've also been a tad extra clingy to Su-jin since she wouldn't be seeing him as often once she was gone. However she did make sure he knew exactly where to find her and owl her once she graduated.

POST GRADUATION Gi graduated with better grades than she thought and followed it up by immediately moving out of her mother's home into a shared flat with her best friend Lizzie. While she knew she had the experience to work for the Daily Prophet, she knew it wasn't what she wanted, so instead began the arduous task of building up her name and reputation as a freelance photographer. So far, she's mainly gotten small jobs for birthday parties and company functions but it was work at least!

▶ REBELLIOUS — Ever since their stepmother came to his life, Sujin as a child sees this as if their father was replacing their mother. That's why he refused to warm up on her stepmother and resented his father as a kid. He doesn't like people who tells him what he should and shouldn't do, especially when it was the people he didn't trust enough. This was done as an outlet of him being torn and upset over whatever was going on in their once-normal family, as well as being resentful at best. And if Sujin was told by someone he trusts to hold his composure, he would come off as a passive-aggressive, brooding and snarky person.

▶ TOLERANT — Normally, Sujin is a mild and good-natured person- enough to help his friends in need but not the type to help strangers left and right. He doesn't mind helping people especially when it means that he could absorb new knowledge from the situation, too. But other than that, he wouldn't mind doing good things to people without expecting anything in return. Of course, he is only kind to the people who are kind to him, otherwise he would just straightly say no if he felt like it.

▶ PESSIMISTIC — As much as he insists that he's only 'realistic', Sujin is quite a pessimist in nature, which is probably rooted from some of his experiences with bullies and family problems. He isn't really the type to say that 'it could get better' or 'we'll get through this'- rather he would think of the cons of something more than the pros (To be fair, Sujin's cons was within the realistic value). He normally thinks that being an optimist is just something that's just going to upset him, that's why it's better if he just won't expect anything good at all. Su-Jin, if he could get away with it, would try to pop an optimist's bubble to "break their naivety". However, it should be noted that he can smile here and there, just that he wasn't sunshine and rainbows.

▶ INQUISITIVE — Very intelligent and curious at heart, he has a real tendency to ask so many questions for him to learn something new. His head might continue to bug him until something mysterious is revealed to him. He would always read books and even use the computer just so he could search for answers and new facts to know about. This results in him being a total researcher, enjoying investigating and scrutinizing any detail that comes to this path. And if he was content of the info he harvested, Sujin would keep the information to himself for future reference unless he's being asked to share it (which is conditional).

▶ HONEST — Sujin grew up to know that outright lying is wrong and will only break someone's trust, therefore he doesn't mind telling the truth. He also doesn't see the point of restraining or repressing himself even if it meant him ending up in trouble- because what matters is that he's honest and true. This pretty much made him tactless at times, and thus landing into trouble frequently. Though, normally, he always answers things in a short matter-of-fact manner that it made him come off as aloof. He was struggling to keep his composure ever since Ji-Yeong talked him out of it, though.

➥ Background History

▶ CHILDHOOD — Su-Jin Cho is the third child to Hyeong-Jeong Cho and Su-Bin Moon, along with his older brother and sister and another younger sister. For most of his life, eight years of his life to be specific has been good and uneventful for the young boy. He grew up being happy and optimistic as he enjoyed playing with his siblings, especially going on adventures with his sister Gi. He also loves his baby sister Myeong as, like Gi, called her 'Mi-Mi'. However, because he wasn't as bold as his sister, and so he was an easy target for bullies. Su-Jin struggled to fight them off while trying to hold his optimism together that he could get through this.

But recently, things seemed to fall down around him when his parents separated and their father quickly remarried, not to mention that they also have a kid with said woman. Su-Jin couldn't see why would their parents be together when their mother Su-Bin was a kind and good mother to all of them, and why would their father replace her with someone else. That made the young kid upset, and as a result, he blatantly refused to warm up to his new step-mother. Thinking that Sora was going to get a lot of attention because their dad seemed to like their stepmum, Sujin felt subtle dislike for the girl as a result, along with the fact that he started to think that this won't get any better at all. Then, after his brother Ji-Yeong went to Hogwarts, a custody agreement was made that forced Su-Jin to be separated from Ji-Yeong and Gi-Seung. He was left to his father, his stepmother, his spoiled-rotten half-sister, and his youngest sister Myeong. Su-jin began to resent his father as well, as well as refusing to treat Sora as a sister because he thinks that Sora was nothing but a self-centered insensitive brat, as well as thinking that his father showered her with love more than him and Myeong. Thus, Su-Jin only focused his good attention to Myeong and her alone, but bitter to everyone else in the house. While his old siblings do try to sneak out to visit him and Myeong, it will never be enough for Su-Jin. He was counting the days, waiting for the Hogwarts letter to arrive so that he could no longer see his undesirable "parents" and reunite with his older siblings.

▶ SCHOOL LIFE — The moment he arrived in Hogwarts, Sujin didn't expect everything to be so surprising and upsetting. He got sorted to Hufflepuff just like his brother Ji, and while he was content Sujin was surprised that he didn't go to Ravenclaw. On the other hand, he had a huge fight with a fellow housemate named Desiree because of being upset over her brother being in a different house- which was something he found very unreasonable and selfish. It all started when he just muttered something, not expecting Desi to hear it (spoiler: she can, she's half-vampire) and that was exactly how everything went downhill. It left to him being self-deprecating about his sorting, thinking that he didn't have anything Hufflepuff-like to qualify since he wasn't anything like his older brother.

Ji-Yeong then have to come down to the Hufflepuff common room to talk him out since Sujin was more willing to listen to his siblings than everyone else, which thankfully ended well but left Sujin to simmer on having to compose himself instead of being outright blunt. Not the best way to handle composure, but a sign of small improvement. Desi's mother, as he expected, also talked to him- but Sujin was honestly surprised that she really said that "both him and Desi are in the wrong" since he was expecting her mother to full-on take Desi' side since "that's what a mother should do and he wouldn't blame her". So, he just nodded along quietly like his brother told him to- except he had a really hard time having to apologize to Desi like her mother told him to- so it came to the point that Sujin gave up trying and found it fit to avoid her if everything he say was just going to be held against him.

On the other hand, he joined the Art Club and joined the Halloween event because his sister Gi-Seung insisted him to, so he dressed up as a Pokemon Trainer. He spent many times hanging out with a few friends like Rebecca and Detch, not being the type to have a crowd. Eventually during the years, he warmed up a little to his housemates (sans Desi and those annoying Hufflepuffs like Laili and Nani)- since being away from his household actually helped him alot. However, this made him dread of having to come home for the summer, but at the same time he couldn't to leave the house because he has to be there just for Mye.

His second year was uneventful, relieved to be in school rather than being stuck at home. His father was acting overbearing and trying so hard to bond with him, as if Sujin was expected to act so normal about it. And yet every time rebelled he end up being grounded and in troubled, usually being labeled as being ungrateful. He never said a word about it to Mye even if it was obvious that he was brooding and simmering 24/7. So yeah, Sujin spent the entire summer keeping stuff to himself and hating himself for no longer being as honest as he wanted to be. His second year was uneventful mainly because he was actively trying not to get into arguments due to Ji being prefect- and thus not wanting to burden his older brother. So, ironically, even to his older siblings Sujin kept stuff to himself which was unusual due to his blunt behavior. On the bright side, he and Lizzy were getting along as housemates, friends, and clubmates. He even supported her when she got crowned as a Art Club Vice Captain, as well as learning watercolor from her.

It wasn't until her daddy had another baby that suddenly, her life was messier than ever. Suddenly she went from being cuddled with both her parents to only one at a time. She was moody for a while, but became decent enough at adapting through the families. Her new goal became to try and make everyone else happy, even if she was having a very terrible day. When the divorce finalized, the girl suddenly found herself... and her older siblings... squished into a fight between her parents. The girl, being young, decided the whole mess was all because she was born, because that was when the drama started. Never would her trusting mind allow her to think the fault could be with her father, after all. As the two fought, the girl's personality started to blossom into a fun-loving, easily distracted child. Her mother was more than glad that she didn't become a horrible cynic, so the woman helped the child's thinking grow.

■ SELFISH Sora, although she can be very generous with the people she considers friends, is a fundamentally selfish person, who can be very possessive of her possessions. Part of this is due to a fear of being rejected, as material things can't tell her to go away. She tends to think of herself first and foremost, and usually considers her thoughts and feelings most important.
■ SPONTANEOUS Sora is used to doing what she wants, whenever she wants, bouncing around from one activity to another. She has a very brief attention span, and doesn't like to feel stuck doing one thing for too long. Impulsive and impetuous, Sora has zero inhibitions, and typically says whatever she wants. She's not shy or self-conscious in the slightest, and never hesitates to speak her mind.
■ IMPATIENT Sora has no patience. At all. Nothing ever happens quickly enough for her, and she has a hard time waiting for anything. She wants to know, see, and do, right now, as soon as possible. Due to growing up more than a little spoiled, she's not used to having to be patient, and naturally expects that things ought to appear right when she wants them.
■ EXCITABLE Sora is extremely excitable; an optimistic, high-spirited person, she sees the potential for adventure in everything, and is usually very eager to get out and about and begin her day. She can also be very emotional, crying at sad scenes in movies, and has a hot temper to boot, although she's not one for grudges and her anger is typically quick to fade.
■ FACETIOUS Nearly everything is a joke to Sora, and she has quite the smart mouth to boot, with a witty, bordering on sarcastic reply to every question, and a sly comeback for every insult. She rarely takes things as seriously as she should, and enjoys making herself (and others) laugh. Nothing is too sacred for her to poke fun at, and she despises people who takes everything very seriously.
■ GREGARIOUS Sora is very, very talkative; in fact she rarely shuts up. Rarely quiet or reserved, she loves being around other people and has a tendency to ramble, particularly when she's excited. She genuinely enjoys making and having friends, and is usually the life of the party, if a bit of an attention hog. It's very hard for her to be alone for too long.

CHILDHOOD Sora is from her father's second marriage and her mother's first marriage. Born and raised in Wales, her parents met while her father, Hyeon-Jeong, was still married to his first wife, Su-Bin, whom he'd had four children with. When it eventually came out that Hyeon was having an affair the marriage quickly crumbled, and Sora's father married her mother, Ginnie, very soon afterwards. It didn't take very long for Sora to come into the world, now the youngest of five. Her childhood has been very happy; she is spoiled and doted on by both parents, and enjoys following around her older siblings, oblivious to the fact that their mother is now essentially at war with her father.
