Council Deker's cubs have gotten lost and now the colony is banding together to find the missing cubs! There two brothers have come forward to the adults to let them know that they were playing hide and go seek with there siblings but its been hours now and they have no idea where it is their siblings have hid themselves.

Dad: Deker (owned by nessiaing); Deker is currently the only member of the council. After the colony was attack by lions he gave an impassioned speech about how none of the council was doing their jobs and there for shouldn't be on the council. He ended up being the only member left and promised to bring the colony up to a better standard. He was meant to hold a election to fill the council spots again but has yet to do so.


Mom: Kianga. A Mind-Reader in the colony, who's loyalties are yet to be seen. Don't be fooled just because she had cubs with Deker doesn't mean she likes or trusts him.


Brother: Plomme, fourth born in the litter after the twins and the cream boy.

~Rules~

2. For this contest only colony members for this contest, no worries a rp contest will be coming soon that will be open to everyone. If you have a leopard who would like to join just post him in the joining thread, no need to wait for me to approve go ahead and start playing here.
3. Please let at least one other person post between your entries.
4. To win roll one of the three numbers I rolled. Once that number has rolled it is no longer valid. First person to roll gets first pick, second the second and third last. My rolls will be in the next post.
5. Note these cubs have already grown to adol but in this rp they are still very young. There is also a chance that these cubs will be involved in the meta coming up. Please keep that in mind.

EDIT! All but the dark twin have been found now. Instead of rolling 1-100 roll a 20sided dice instead. The number you are looking for is 15! Lets find that little girl!

Deker was a little annoyed. His sons had come to him to tell him that his other children were missing. It didn't look good, after all he had been training the pride to be more on their feet. To be more observant, to be better fighters. Now his cubs were missing. This was going to be hard to explain. He would have to have a chat with them later and explain to them that the things that they did reflected on him. He couldn't have them making him look bad after all.

"Okay everyone. Lets do this systematically." he called out to all of those who had collected to help find his young. "Cubs can be tricky and hide in places the rest of us would never think of." he told them.

"Once you find them please bring them back here. I will have someone left her responsible for minding the cubs that have been returned." he said with a nod. With that he began his search for his young. The twins, his light son and the pale purple one.


Plomme sat sulking a little bit. He had come back with his brother to tell the adults that his siblings were gone. He had been the original seeker and had spent hours looking for his siblings. He had only managed to find one brother. It wasn't exactly a good percentage.

"If anyone wants me to tag along I can tell you where I have already looked." He hoped that one of the adults would let him tag along. He wanted to help.

Glacio had gathered to hear the announcement that some of Deker's offspring had wandered off. Despite being part of the colony for a while now, Glacio still seemed detached from the goings on of the colony. It seemed that after he and his group had joined that chaos had ensued within. While the suspicion was no longer upon himself or those he had joined the pride with, he still chose not to engage himself in the colony's problems too heavily and contented himself to roaming the borders, or even occasionally going passed them into the Rogue Lands. It was a perk from being a Story-Teller within the colony and he took the liberty of travel more often than not.

It could never be said of him that he had a soft spot for cubs, even when he traveled with one, a dark-coated cub by the name of Kuruka. Still, the notion of searching to find the cubs was by far more appealing to the idea of staying behind and cubsitting.

In a graceful movement, he got to his paws and was starting to head off in a different direction when a small voice traveled to his ears. He looked down at the young feline, considering. Glacio may have a dislike for cubs, but it would be helpful not to chase his tail in trying to look for the others.

"You may accompany me, but stay close, do as I say, and don't wander off." He said, laying down the law before the cub could say anything more. He didn't even know the thing's name. "Come along now." He said, turning away and starting his hunt. "Now, where have you already looked and where did you find your other sibling?" He did not know the antics of cubs, his own cubhood being atypical, but there was a chance that two may hide nearby one another, if only to peak out from being a boulder and exchange giggles with one another. Glacio shuddered. Cubs.

Aziza approached the situation with an open mind, not entirely sure how their lone councilman had managed to lose his cubs, cubless herself she was unable to judge though. Once on the scene and debriefed she set out to seek the little bundles of energy.

Though she couldn't understand how the cubs had gone missing, she also found herself sympathizing at the story. Of course hide and seek would be made potential dangerous by a group of cubs. Only they could turn something fun into a potential hazard.

Saving her opinions for herself she began to call out for the little ones.

Deker was pleased by the turn out and that everyone started looking for his missing young right away. With any luck they would have the four of them home quickly and with as little fuss as possible.

"Come out to father." Deker called. He was ducking and looking below things. He was trying to think like a cub, where would they hide. In bushes? Up in trees? This was hard. The colony did a lot of their travelling by trees so with that in mind the purple leopard leapt into the lower branches of the trees looking among them, knowing that his cubs wouldn't have been able to climb very high.


Plomme beamed with excitement when the bright blue adult called him along to help. He abided by the adults rules and stuck close. "I looked over that way already." Plomme said gesturing with his paws. "I found my other brother hiding in some bushes there." he said with a nod hoping that he was being helpful. He already missed the twins and his other two bothers and wanted them home.

The deep blue leopard, dappled in oranges markings had been on her way to see where Deker had been looking when she had over heard the one cub advise against that direction as he'd already looked there. She mused that he was possibly bad at hide and seek, yet she didn't feel compelled to go that route any longer.

So to save herself sometime she headed the exact opposite direction, but followed the ideas of Deker, leaping into the lower parts of the tress and seeking out any signs - the cubs weren't of a natural colors and so the greens against their pelts should have been a dead give away.

Gray eyes looked closely, seeking even the tiniest movement while she continued to call out, letting the little ones know that hide and seek was over, that they had won.

Glacio's eyes followed the pointed paw of the cub and then towards the bushes.
"Very well." he said with a nod and turned on a path that led him passed the bushes. If his previous theory proved true, then hopefully there would be another cub hiding somewhere nearby. He did not call out to them, though perhaps maybe he ought to have.

But did a hunter usually call out to his prey when stalking them? No! These cubs weren't different in his mind, well, with the only exception being he wouldn't eat them.

Aziza watched as a hunter, one of which she didn't know the name of, remain silent in his endeavors - perhaps she had something to learn from him, was silence her ally in this search? She stopped shouting and turned to listening more closely.

"Where are they..?" The leopardess asked herself, out loud, but in a very quiet whisper. And so she sought them out again with her newest strategy.

A note she had made for herself was to speak with a hunter, get some training. Sure she knew what to do during a hunt, but it was clear her skills needed some help - it didn't help that she needn't use them on a regular.

Plomme followed along behind the adult. He wanted to talk and point things out but he got the distinct feeling that bright blue male was not interested in anything the young cub had to say. So instead Plomme kept his head down and kept searching for his siblings. He was looking for anywhere that he himself might hide. It should be easier for him to find them then some of the adults, but he had also looked for hours with no luck so obviously his skills sort of sucked.

Akay was a little late to the search party. He began searching quickly though and it wasn't long before he spotted one of his sisters in the trees just above him. Aziza he called to her, "Any luck so far?" he asked. "How many cubs are missing." having not heard anything in the start Akay didn't actually know what or who he was looking for. He had just hears whispers about missing cubs in the pride centre and though he should lend a paw.

"Akay, this will be a story for you." She mused, a little bit of teasing towards the thoughts of lost cubs. "There are four wee ones out there, hiding well enough to evade our eyes. It's quite a pain." Her eyes narrowed as she began to seek the pelts again.

"Look for little Dekers.." Aziza smiled playfully to her brother. "Perhaps you'll get lucky and spy the little buggers."

Aziza returned to her search, assuming that Akay would do the same, whether he followed along with her or not.

"Where or where had the little mischief makers gone.." The leopardess thought back to her youth, seeking some form of comfort in the ideas she had as a cub, but there was none. Surely she had done something so adventurous? Perhaps not.
